4.1 Bottle 330 ml from Wine Rack, Turnham Green. Pleasant nose with sweet grape, earth and hints of browned butter. Pours hazy amber body with big fluffy head. Taste is hoppy and perfectly balanced with orange, straw, caramel, earth and alcohol. One of the best beers I've had in a long time.
3.7 330ml bottle: BB 26th May 2025. Drank at home on 2nd December 2023. Clean amber body, off-white crown. Hoppy nose, resinous feel, bitter, yet with a malty base and Belgian yeastiness throughout. Nice!
3.5 Klar bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Fruchtiger, hopfiger, malziger Geruch.
2.9 Bottle. Dark orange amber color, huge bubbly head. Aroma is earthy, herbal, spicy. Sweet with strong bitterness, fruity esters, spicy phenols, caramel, citrus, alcohol. Medium-bodied, lively carbonation.
3.9 Intriguing on the nose: caramel, spice, citrus like bitterness. Modestly hopped. Well balanced. Solid malt background, with a very crisp bitterness and spice to make a 7% ABV beer come off as almost 'refreshing'. Not mind blowing, but certainly a clever creation. Nov 2022
3.9 Color ámbar oscuro, con destellos anaranjados. Ligeramente turbia. Espuma abundante, blanca y compacta.
3.6 On tap. Pours a clear amber with a thick off white head. Aroma of floral hops, perfume, citrus, pale malt, fruity hops. Flavor of fruity hops, raisin, pale malt, citrus, tropical fruits, hint of Belgian yeast. Lightly hopped, fruity. Not what I expect from a Belgian ipa but it’s good. 7/4/7/4/14 (3.6/5)
3.2 klar gyllen med masser av off-white skum. Lukter karamellmalt og belgisk gjær. Ganske søt. malt, karamell. Noe fizzy i munnfølelse.
2.8 Belle amertume, bière homogène. L'alcool se fait ressentir.
3.5 Strong alcohol, strong phenol, light aromas or fruitiness, typical belgium IPA, if you are an American IPA type of person, this is more pf a belgium IPA, closer to saison then IPA
3.6 Bottle from the Green Dragon, Whitby. Pours clear amber with an ever-expanding white head. Very malty nose, toffee and dried mixed peel. Taste is estery, yeast, brioche, light coriander seed. Dry finish.
3.3 A:lupp,mango,zest,tost G:mango,fiori,amaro persiste
3.5 Bottle from Delhaize in Kessel Lo, Leuven. Almost bock-like aroma and somewhat empty. Lovely golden colour. I think it tastes good, and maybe I'm hop deprived lately here but the hops and the booze come together well. Decent.
3.4 Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden amber with a big fluffy off-white head. Nose - red and orange fruit with brown bread at the back. Taste - brown bread and muesli. Candied orange. Caramel, sweet spice and brown sugar. Palate - medium bodied, roasty dry finish. Overall - interesting beer and a bit gnarly compared to the usual for the style.
3.9 Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a hazy deep amber/orange colour with a huge foamy off white head. Aromas of citrus and sherbet orange with a touch of floral. Taste has more of the orange notes, a touch more floral with some peppery spice, coriander and a hoppy but mild pithy orange rind on the finish. Also a little sweetness but nicely balanced. Thin to medium body, average carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Nice and fresh tasting.
3.4 Aromas frutales a frutos secos y ligeramente cítrico Aspecto dorado brillante espuma persistente En boca maltosa caramelo y almendras con final cítrico seco
3.2 Aroma of fruits, malt and hints of grass, yeast and spieces. Amber with a off-white head. Medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter. Medium to full body with average carbonation. Dry finish. Overall an OK Belgian style IPA, but not a fantastic one.
3.8 Bottle from Hops and Crafts Exeter. Pours almost clear amber with a slightly off white head. Aroma of slightly burnt candy sugar , bread ,toffee , orange peel & spicy pepper. Taste is nicely bitter with more orange peel, lemon peel , candy sugar, grapefruit, toffee , bread & spicy pepper. Light bodied with a slightly smooth mouthfeel and good carbonation, slightly gum tingling. The finish is dry and bitter with more , orange peel , grapefruit rind , bread , candy sugar , toffee & spicy pepper. Complex and tasty!
3.7 330ml bottle. Clear copper beer with a large foamy white head. Dry grassy hop aroma, flavour is caramel, grass, spice. Delicious
3.6 How: bottle, a bit chilled. BB: 30/10/2023 Head: three fingers, white. Fluffy, but settles to dense foam. Colour: copper to light amber, clear. Aroma: floral, herbal, fruity, bread, syrup, light spicyness. Taste: medium body, very lively carbonation, bread, herbal, fruity, smooth bitterness. Herbal, floral, bread notes in long bitter aftertaste.
4.1 Lovely golden appearance that poured with a big head that slowly dissipated. Strong presence of alcohol- far more than I expected.Surprisingly full bodied and resembling a traditional Belgian double or triple. Left lots of lacing. An excellent beer.
3.2 zapach słody z przyjemnych cytrusowym dodatkiem, fajna goryczka i fajne piwo. Ale bez rewelacji
3.2 Light Amber with rather small nose. Hoppy taste and Belgian yeast with fresh notes. Palate medium with still hoppy notes
3.4 From the archives: Copper coloured with medium large head, full-bodied. Hoppy, fruity, malty.
3.4 Clear, lovely amber beer. Very frothy pour, massive head initially until it settled down a bit. Light hoppy aroma. Flavour is a little zesty up front with hop but still plenty of malt. Crisp, hefty taste, nice and smooth. Not a lot going on but it's crisp and tasty.
2.5 Veel te bitter.
