Delirium Deliria

Delirium Deliria

Brewed by women, this heavy blonde beer has 8.5% ABV and second fermentation in the bottle. This beer has a pale blonde colour and fine, white creamy and lacing foam. The aroma is very balanced, with a fruity and flowery background and a first impression of chardonnay, that further evolves to a spicy, mild hop aroma. The flavour is very balanced with fruity notes of apple and chardonnay grapes. Deliria has a fine, mildly bitter aftertaste and a wonderful, round mouth feeling with a nice evolution.

Specialty beer, brewed once a year on the occasion of International Women’s Day

3.0 Can/Fest. A- Wheat, spice. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Coriander, wheat. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- One of those beers I'd have loved 10 years ago but just doesn't do much for me now. Lots of coriander and more complex than I give it credit for honestly.
Esther's, fris fruit, licht zuurtje, zoet, afdronk bitter. (iets te bitter daarom geen 10, maar 9,5)
3.7 Delerrium Tremors is much better but for it's own sake this one wasn't bad. Better for someone who prefers things on the lighter side.
3.0 Can poured a çlear yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of straw, yeast and light vinous notes. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, yeast and light earthiness with a crisp dry lingering earthy finish.
3.7 Bottle. Pours a clear orange hue with a large white head. A big bready and yeasty nose. Sweet, lemons, bready, lots of spicy yeast, a bit of vanilla. Solid.
3.8 12oz can from Boise Co-op. Clear golden pour, one finger foamy head, slowly fades. Malty aroma, bready, light Belgian yeast. Yeast first on the taste, sweet malt, fruity, mouth coating. Finishes dry.
3.7 Floral and a little citrus. Golden pour with decent head. Some clove. Decent balance and easy drinking. Light bitterness in finish, light sweetness. Can.
3.7 Clear bright golden with a thin rocky white head. Delicate aroma with notes of apple and Belgian yeast esters. Crisp golden body with light kisses of apple-like esters and maybe a hint pomegranate whispers. Slight golden malt body finish.
3.6 Pour is a crystal clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is wheat malt, spicy hops and white sugar. Flavor is white wine with some some fruity notes and a spicy hop. Alcohol makes a small but noticeable appearance. Decent Belgian blonde.
3.4 Bottle 75 cl. Golden, clear, lush white foam. Aroma: floral, higher alcohols, a little perfumery, candy, pear, a little sweets, a little sour. Malty taste, alcohol, bitter, hoppy, spicy, a little fruity.
3.7 On tap at Das Beer Garden. Clear golden. Smells of herbal and spicy hops, light grain. Smells like a classic European lager, strangely. Tastes of herbal hops, then sweet fruity notes, sweet grain. Lightly bitter finish. Medium body, maybe medium heavy. Nice
3.2 Vinous apple, malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with moderate white head. Mildly sweet white white, malt, and moderately bitter dry lemon peel/grass flavor. Body a bit light.
2.9 clear golden hue with white head, the aroma is straw with hint of bubble gum. medium body with heavy alcohol.
3.5 .75 bottle. Golden well carbonated. Very belgy spicy nose, citrus, citruspeel. Dry, plain malty. I've always thought of delirium as a bit too heavy, thick, but this is quite nice. Easier, duvel-like lightness. Nice
4.3 Poured into mug reminds me of champagne when pouring but the light taste with the strong % REALLY combines well would drink this as a rewarding bottle for a special week. Brewed completely by women as well which is a really awesome fact. High ranking drink for me!
3.6 Bottle pour. Clear yellow with a large foamy white head. Aroma is wheat, banana, and and a little raisin. Full smooth body. a little sweet with a small but lasting salty flavor.
3.6 750ml ceramic corked bottle from local beer shop. 2020 drinked on 21/04/2021 Poured in the delirium elephant trunk glass @home. Pours a hazy, pale golden yellow with nice white foam on top and lots of lacing. Aroma is mostly yeasty, spicy, with notes of cider, fruits and grapes. Taste is rich and complex (check also the ingredients) with yeast, flowery, and fruity notes all around, and a good bittersweet with also some kind of white wine character and some delicate sourness to it. Lots of yeast and spices flavours and also apple, pear and grapes, with a kind of strong boozy finish also dry, grassy and spicy, more bitter towards the end. Quite strong at 8.5% abv. Medium body and average carbonation. Easy enough to drink. Very nice beer more flowery and fruity from Huyghe, appreciated.

Qua geur ietsjes wijnachtigs. Fruitig, beetje appel en licht moutig. Droog op de tong.
2.7 Hop spice herbal aroma. Clear amber colour wonderful head and lacing. Malt citrus hop malt aroma. Flat palate.
3.2 Pours clear golden color with white head. Aromas of Belgian yeast and fruit. Doughy yeast, pears, and some spices. Medium body with lively carbonation.
4.2 0.75 l bottle with champagne cork (limited edition 2020). Golden, clear, small head, bubbly. More fruity than the original version or maybe more pinkish...
3.3 Bottle 750ml at Ruovesi. From Alko web shop. BBE 2023-02-13. Pours hazy yellow with white head. Flavor is fresh and fruity, apples, white grapes, citrus, yeast, faint barn yard. Medium body, high carbonation, fruity finish.
3.4 (Bottle, 0.75 l - BB 13.02.2023, from Alko, 20200320)The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, grass and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, fruitiness, sweetness, Belgian style yeast, spiciness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A rather pleasant brew with grassy hops and Belgian style yeast. Bit unbalanced.
2.7 Tap. Clear golden color. Metallic, acetone, herbal hops, grainy, minerals in aroma/taste.
