3.6 It pours a somewhat murky reddish purple color with a large, fairly long lasting pink head. The aroma is sour cherries & elderberries with hints of almond. It is a very nice blend of sweet and sour fruit flavors. I taste a lot of sour cherry and a good bit of elderberry. This is an enjoyable beer and worth trying.
3.8 Deep purple-red with a light haze and a settling foam. Cherry nose with strong bitter almond notes, fruity, boozy and sweet at first then drying a little, more bitter almond hints. Good stuff.
2.5 Demasiado dulce y con sabor a frutos rojos. Para iniciarse podría estar bien.
2.1 Bouteille. Sucrée et fruitée, la cerise ressort de l'amertume de l'IPA. Pas extraordinaire.
3.5 [Bruxelles, Delirium Café] Aroma: Intense sweet candy-ish cherry aroma, marzipan, dark cherries and mild cinnamon Appearance: Cloudy amber red with a small fast disappearing white head Taste: Moderately sweet and mildly acidic, cinnamon, marzipan, dark cherries and wheat Mouthfeel: Watery texture with mild carbonation Overall: Quite similar to the Lindeman's kriek I had earlier on tap today, but not quite as good 😅
3.5 Aroma is cherries, almonds, sweet fruits Red colour with small head TaSte is a poor mans lindemans kriek. Cherries, milky, red berries Low carbonation with oily mouthfeel Nice Tasted at delirium
3.5 Barwa ciemnorubinowa, lekko zmętnione, piana różowa, dość obfita, trwała. W aromacie i smaku intensywne, są głównie czerwone owoce, konfitura, słód. Słodko-kwaskowe, rozgrzewające, sporo ciała. Dobre.
3.0 Un peu trop sucrée à mon goût, mais comme elle m'avait été gentiment donnée, j'ai tout de même tout bu !
3.4 Rubinowe z obfitą różową pianą. Aromat słodki, owocowy, wybijają się malina i wiśnia. W smaku słodkie, owocowe z cierpko-chemicznym finiszem. Nisko wysycone ale dobrze pijalne.
4.1 Aromas and tasting of beautiful red berries açaí Belgian yeast fruit juice apricot and booze. Overall, beautiful beer with beautiful flavor.
2.9 Bottle. Dark red-brown colour with a relatively small fine pored pink head, nose is fruity, almost perfumed, yeasty and soapy with notes of cherries, bubble gum and red berries and some metallic hints, taste is sweet and fruity with a tart finish and a high carbonation.
3.8 Deep red hazy pour with a thin pink head and spots of lacing …. Aroma is of fresh cherries and berry …. Sweet and a hint of sour tartness but smacks you of cherry ….. taste is of tart cherry, sour berry, sweet and tasty cherry …. Little lively on the tongue …. Lots of tart and sweet berry and cherry …. Very nice sweet dessert beer ….. as it warms the cherry and berry balance a bit but cherry still has a slight edge ….. finish has some bitterness to it and a lively bite
3.8 Bottle : 330 ml, at home, #StayHomeDrinkBeer Price : 2.99 eur Tirštas, stipros, saldus.. desertas
3.4 Draft at Ultimate Beerfest. Poured red, pink head. Aroma of wine, cherry, fruit. Taste was sweet, sour, cherry, raspberry.
3.3 Dark ruby red beer. Pinkish small head. Aroma of fruit and malt. Taste is full on black cherry with a hint of almond. Some subtle banana esters in the background but quite hard to detect. Slightly sour but not to the point that it would classify as a sour beer. I quite liked this.
3.5 Color rubí, densa, no deja pasar la luz fácilmente, espuma color blanco\rosa, de mediana retención, poco persistente. Carbonatacion no perceptible.
3.2 The aromas are a blend of cherries, metallic and minerals. Flavors are slightly more sweet than tart, sweet cherries and some lingering bittersweet in the finish. Good carbonation and body. Nothing special.
3.4 Bottle from local alko. Mostly cherries, some malt. Medium sourness. Cant taste the alcohol.
4.0 Taken after our training run for our mission into Avernus, poured into a Delirium glass, magnificent time. A strong fruity drink, nice sipper.
4.5 Old Untappd check-in. Spring 2015 sometime. Best thing I had at the Delirium bar in Budapest.
3.7 1 pint 0.9 fluid ounce can. Allowed to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before pouring into branded Delirium glass (with the elephant trunk stem!) Pours a reddish purple. Appealing appearance with a pink foam head. Nose of fresh berries and cherries - raspberry and strawberry. Sour candy notes. Fresh fruit flavors lead the way here, specifically dark cherry. Good balance of sweet and sour. Yet despite that balancing act, I wish it was more decisively one or the other. At 8%, I was hoping for a strong-sweet or strong-sour beer. But make no mistake, this is not a lambic. Instead what we have is something more in the middle. It leans on the sweeter side with fully fruited malts and fresh cherries. Yet there are lingering bitter notes which are also welcome. I don’t detect much original DT in the blend. It could be a new recipe or just have gotten drowned out due to the fruit additions. As I continue to sip, more sweetness eases in which is pleasant and refreshing. Lots of cherry dominates the mouthfeel. Fans of sours can still enjoy this sweet sipper.
3.8 As you would expect it was red and the flavour was predominantly cherry like but not overpoweringly so. Easy to drink. Although I would consider it a novelty beer it was still quite pleasant to drink.
3.3 Aroma of malt, plums, cherries and almond. Dark red with a pink head. Medium + sweet and medium bitter with some nice acidity. Medium + body with average carbonation. Dry finish. Overall a OK brew.
3.5 Nice but nothing special
3.6 On tap at Epcot. Red with small pink head, light lacing. Raspberries, strawberry, plumb. Good
3.5 Dark red hazy looks. Cherry nose and taste with also stones. Almond like taste and medium long and fruity palate.
3.5 Bottle at Ebenezers, Crewe. Sharp sour cherries dominate the aroma here. It pours a murky burgundy with a small pale pink head. Creamy and very sweet (almost sickly) in the mouth. But at the same time the main flavour of cherries adds a sharpness that grows in passing. Hints of cranberries too. And the finish ? Well yet more cherries naturally. Alcoholic strength is very well hidden. Overall, a lot nice than this review seems to suggest !
3.3 Alone at home. Dark pink colored beer with pink colored head and no carbonation visible. Fruited cherry aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is sweet cherry ending dry.
3.9 Here at the Delirium cafe, a third on the day of my best buddies wedding as part of the pre-game event to warm into the evening. Ok, here's the deal-- in the wintertime when you have a cold and a bit of congestion, instead of reaching for the cough syrup, just reach for this one.
3.3 March 2023 Belgium & Blues, Southampton. Yummy. So much cherry flavour. Great fun. 3.3 Aug 2021 - the second day of Phocea and Noel working on the front garden. This is lovely. If you're going to have a fruit beer, it may as well be this one. Full of fruit, sweet cherry flavour, thick and heady. bags of fun. No nonsense. Great bottle. Great buzz. An alcopop, but one with balls. [3.3]
