Diabolici

Diabolici

First, there were the teasers, the rascals and the mischief makers : real little devils. Eccentric to the very tip of their horns, the Diabolici® were born in a mash tub which they consider to be the most precious source in the world.

To honour their origins, these jokers have brought out the secret recipe for their much loved liquid : a demonic beer in the image of their lively and quirky spirit. This artisanal beverage, the fruit of a jealously guarded ancestral recipe, has a thousand and one tricks up its sleeve : sometimes amusing, sometimes lively, it all depends ! Beware of appearances : even the most daring have their breath taken away by this beer.

Today this beer has found recognition within the Finest Beer Selection®, which is perpetuating its spread. From one inn to the next, Diabolici is extolled throughout the year. Whoever drinks it will also be imbued with malice.

Diabolici® asserts its Triple Blonde character of high fermentation and bottle refermentation. It contains 8% alc./vol. and continues to bear the name of its creators, who bewitch the minds of those who are merrily drinking it. This legendary elixir is worthy of a magical world and is a legacy of our popular mythology.

Having been brewed since the beginning of time at the gates of hell, the exquisite Diabolici® is the familiar and impish companion of our festive evenings. It is to be sampled with mischievousness in its exclusive chalice glass ! A genuine moment of truly magical flavour and quality.

3.1 75cl bottle (best before date 10-2015)split with SimonBlok and Richardvv. Pours a clear orange/ruby with a a small off white head. Aroma of wine, grappa, apple juice, malt, citrus. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter, slight sourness with a soft dry finish. Notes of something acidic, malt, alcohol, apple juice, yeast, pepper, coriander. Texture is sticky, medium bodied with fizzy carbonation
3.6 Crystal clear, beautiful dark golden colour, foamy head and lots of bubbles. Smell is apples and pears, sweet and bitter, hint of banana and some citrus, cherries, maybe some honey, toffee. Taste is crisp and fresh. Caramel with lots of fruitiness. Nice lightly astringent and refreshing finish.
Carbonatación a tope. Textura acuosa. Aroma a alcohol.
Aromat karmelu słodów i ziół ale niezbyt mocny. Smak karmelu, słodkie z alkoholem w tle.
3.3 Large white head, golden clear coloured body, yeasty muffy some malts floral grass some citrus smell, medium to high carbonation, medium bitter floral yeasts some sweet medium thick some sticky body, hoppy malts taste
3.3 Shared 0,75l bottle @ One Pint Pub. Pours cloudy golden with a high head. Aroma is sweet malts. Flavor is sweet malts, alcohol and hops. Good.
2.2 Ugly ass label, ugly ass beer. Very fluffy bubbly head. Clearly too filtered, which shows in the boozy, caramel, thin, nail Polish aroma. Thin boozy taste. Really minds me very much of the fake abbey beers you find in French supermarkets. Bad, bad stuff. (75cl bottle from Belgium Beer Shop Leuven)
3.1 Bottle 75cl / Botella 75cl. @ El Corte Ingles, Sevilla, España. A: Amber / Ambar. T/S: Malt, sweet, yeast, alcohol / Malta, dulce, levadura, alcohol.
3.0 75cl bottle. Clear light amber colour with a nice white head. Sweet malts, caramel, honey, light yeast and spices in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is sweet with alcohol notes. Overall, a normal sweet tripel with some dull notes.
3.2 Bottle. Hazy yellow. Aroma: Belgian yeast, pear, toffee, fruit esters, malt. Taste: little alcoholized, very warming, pear and malt.
2.9 Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy aroma with weak yeasty hints. Fruity malty spicy yeasty flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty finish.
3.2 Drank in its own glass, golden colour, big off white head. Aroma is very faint, some caramel and fruits. Creamy plate. Malty taste, caramel, ripe fruits, alcohol is noticeable. Good, but not really so especial.
3.1 Color dorado. Turbia.

3.2 06-FEB-2015, bottle @Ulkløbben Tasting, my place, from Kvickly Allerød. Golde with a White head. Aroma is alcohol, sweet, straw, yeast, overall very Belgian. Sweet, lively carbonation. OK.
3.6 Amber, bit orangem sparkling with medium off-white head. Nice yasty aroma. Bit too sharp and too carbonated taste, beginning from fruity sour and sweet followed by bitternes followed for the while.
2.5 Bottle from Continente Supermarket, Lagos, Portugal. Hazy golden coloured with a sweet malty and toffee flavour with strong alcohol followed by amlond and a slight sugary sweet and tart finish.
3.3 On tap at L’Estaminet, Verdun, and served in a gimmick cone glass. Slightly cloudy golden colour, dense but thin white head. Sweet aroma, standard blonde malt flavour. Average but not bad.
3.3 Good "bière blonde" with a light and usual aroma (as the palate), but a really great appearance (golden amber one). In fact, we’re in front of a nice, but very usual beer.
Niks speciaals
3.7 the aroma is malty and fruity with shades of vanilla... the taste is bright with notes of apples, toffee and yeast... slight hopping... sweet and dry aftertaste... good ale...
