A Medium Bodied Amber Colored Pale Ale. This beer is well balanced between the sweetness imparted by the roasted caramel malt and light bitterness imparted by the traditional English variety of hops. Typical of English Style Ales, it has light carbonation with a pleasant hoppy aroma.

3.0"Big time citrus hop aroma and flavor compensate a little for the overabundance of biscuit malt. Pretty well balanced between the malt and a grapefruit like bitterness."
3.2Bottle pour deep copper penny with amber. Nose sweet malt, slight juicy fruit, hint of dank hop. Taste dank malt and slight vegetal up front. Mid palate light grainy malt, then reasonable long bitter finish. Not off putting, but nothing exciting.
3.0Bottle. Clear golden yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of light orange peel, taste is similar. Plain.
3.1Clear amber color with lasting ivory head. Pine, citrus, honey malt aromas. ! Medium body. Muted pine hop flavors with a lightly sweet pale malt base brew____nicely drying finish---not bad.
2.4Bottle from Guess Who? Deep orange pour with a modest white head. Big sticky caramel malt nose. Roasted malt, bread. Maybe some candied orange. The taste is similarly caramel-focussed. A bit of spicy hoppiness, leaf pile and tobacco. A touch of citrusy tang. Light body, active carbonation. This does nothing for me.
3.25/3/2014. On tap at the brewery. Amber color with a white head. Caramel aromas with hints of hops and light fruit.
3.1[Bottle] Caramel color with a large and soapy head. Grassy and herbal hop aroma. Moderately bitter taste includes tea leaves, grass and light skunk. Fizzy carbonation. Tasting notes from 11/2011.
3.4Tap--- Hello Arkansas! Pours a light copper color with a small, off white head. Caramel and a slight hop aroma. Solid caramel and sweet flavors with a soft touch of hops. Medium body. Nice work and feel of an English Pale Ale. Cregeens Pub in North Little Rock.
1.5Ugh. Pours with no head and a nice amber orange color. In fact, I’d dare say the color is the only positive aspect of this brew. The taste is so off bitter I almost pucker, which ruins the more complex fruity flavors in the forefront. The after-taste is atrociously bitter.
I gotta say though, this could be a good beer without the soapy bitterness at the end. Could do with a bit of a head!
What’s to expect from a poorly labeled Arkansas craft brew?
3.3Aroma: Actually pulls off an English Pale Ale pretty well- Light caramel, sweet grainy malts; some herbal and lemony hop notes. Cascade in this? I can’t tell, personally so I imagine it’s a small amount. At 6.2%, this is a little amped up for the style. Appearance: Penny copper with a off-white head that settles into a lightly creamy skin. Flavor: Sweet grains with a touch of caramel; a bit more herbal than lemony (just a little Cascade in there); dries up very well. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, lightly bitter finish. Overall: I’d drink this again, and would love to have it fresh at the brewery. Surprisingly well done, especially considering the IPA (Presidential) was nothing to write home about.
3.2Bottle:   Dirty orangish amber, thin sudsy off-white head, sparce lacing.   Muted caramel malt aroma, a little dank and musty.   A touch bready.   Seems over the top already.   No real hop aspect.   Pale breadiness up front, a little caramel, every so slight wet cardboard.   No real bitterness.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Oh, now I see its an English Pale Ale... which might explain the assertive caramel malt profile, with low hop bitterness.   Seems okay, but does have a faint wet cardboard finish.   Still is a bit musty.   Decent, even if a little boring.   Could use a smidge more hop bitterness to balance it out a bit.
3.6Clear amber under a thin white cap. Nose is nice and caramelly with a spicy floral hop tone. The flavor is very nice with a grassy and floral hop forward flavor, though with restrained bitterness, all of which is balanced by a lot of caramel and crystal malt. Semi bitter dry finish.
3.3Draft at Farrels. Pretty tame beer. Murky amber color. Thin white head. Slight hoppy citrus taste. Decent palate.
2.6Had at the Foam beer festival in Fayetteville Spring 2013. Slightly hoppy for a pale ale. Some caramel. Medium body. Decent.
3.3Draft. Poured medium amber, nice off-white head. Solid English pale ale -- moderately malty, slightly spicy, earthy English hops. Surprised by how much I liked this. Want to try more DB when I head through Little Rock next.
3.1Dark straw. Thin head. Starts sweet and malty then moves to grapefruit rind. Pretty standard pale ale with an extra dose if hops. Thanks Erin.
3.0Aroma is slight. Pours a clear amber with hardy any head and no lacing. The taste is malty up front followed by graininess and a bitter finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, ok but nothing great.
2.1A - Pours a clear amber with a tight and frothy off-white head.
S - Caramel and citrus hops fill the top of the glass.
T - Herbal and citrus hops wrapped around a lightly sweetened caramel malt. The hops turn grassy and bitter toward the end.
M - Medium body with creamy carbonation. Slightly acidic with a dry finish.
An average English Pale Ale that drinks easy and finishes dry. The herbal hops could get in the way of this being session-able.

3.5bottle. thick looking amber with a large, whipped, white head. peachy, floral hop notes with crystal malt aroma. flavor has quite a bit of crystal malt with floral bittering hops. more hoppy than your typical english style pale, but a huge maltiness cuts it. medium to full bodied.
3.4This one pleasantly surprised me. Poured from a bottle. Honey orange color with little head and minimal lacing. Aroma is orange citrus and floral. Taste is citrusy with light clove. English malt flavor is subdued accompanied by mild hop bitterness. Overall, well balanced. Mouthfeel is moderate. Fairly smooth drinking - could easily be a session beer.
3.2Honey color with white head. Aroma of little bit of grapefruit and done caramel. Taste of grapefruit and firm bitterness.
1.6We had this beer at the 2013 Tops of the Hops in Biloxi, MS. Do not like. Your typical pale ale.
3.0Slight tropical fruit aroma with some citrus hops. Pours a nice copper amber in the glass. Clean minty hops upfront followed by slight floral soapy bitterness. Overall, drinkable and decent.
3.8Not bad. A sweetish pale ale. Medium bodied, light appearance. A bit of honey and a nice amount of bitterness. Tried this one on tap at the Greenhouse Grille in Fayetteville with the parents and Anthony in Jan, 2013.
3.2Sweet hoppy aroma with a cloudy, orangish amber color. A nice medium body beer, with an good finish. Nice lacing on the side fo the glass. I likey!
3.2GABF 2012. My first and only Arkansas rating. actually a decent beer. gold. primarily malt backbone with a light hop finish. light and easy session beer.
3.710/2/12. 12oz bottle thanks to Curtis! Light amber pour with a small khaki head that cuts in half but sticks and actually laces quite a bit. Mild aroma with caramel, biscuits, crackers, and a touch of floral hop character. Laid back, refreshing flavor with more cracker, caramel, and malt, and just a touch of hop floral and drying aspects that beg for another sip. Lightly creamy and easy to drink. This really isn’t half bad for the style. I dig it.
2.8Draft at flying saucer little rock. Pours orange with a thin white head. Not much on the nose. A bit of pine hop bitterness on the tongue. Finishes. Eh!
2.8bottle. amber with small head. english malt and faint hops. mediocre, but not as bad as other db brews.
3.0Bottle thanks to Pawola. Pours copper brown with off white head. Nose/taste of pine, barley, grain, light fruit and resin. Lots of roasted barley. Light to medium body.
