3.4Aroma: pine, citrus fruits, grapefruit in particular, some caramel, grass. Appearance: slightly hazy gold, small, creamy, white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: caramel again, citrus, pine, turns bitter in the finish. Overall: a nice, yet light IPA, good, bitters in the palate. Pint at Taphouse Grill Downtown, Seattle, WA.
3.4On tap. Hazy copper pour. White head. Good lacing. Aroma of caramel malts and citra hops. Taste is the same with grapefruit bitter finish. Pretty well balanced.
3.5Ice cold pour from bomber hits the sweet spot on this sizzling sunny day. Not the most adventurous IPA -- brisk, bitter, medium hoppy, nothing overly citrus -- but good middle of the road drinker.
3.7Draft pour. Pours a fizzy copper color with a lasting head. Really wet bitter hop aroma. I would say I have had this beer more often then any other beer, and there is a simple reason. It’s often available, and it’s really good. Sweet and bitter flavors throughout with a hoppy finish. Enjoyed this one for years. Good stuff.
3.0"Hmmm, not getting any cedar in here. Pine and citrus, a little malt heavy in the nose and flavor, but pleasant enough. Probably not one I’ll rush to get back to, though."
3.4nose: not getting a whole lot apart from a wet grassiness, and an almost vanilla syrup scent.
palate: that’s more like it. very spicy [white pepper and bitter greens] at first, with good sweet grapefruit and apple in the middle. thick and resiny. finish mirrors attack completely and hangs around forever. sort of ’standard nw ipa’ for me. one-note but very well crafted
3.122 oz bomber. Tasted on 7/9/14. Bottle from Total Wine Tampa, FL. The beer pours to a medium golden color with a very thick white head. The aroma has pine, very grassy& some Carmel notes. The taste has a very mild grassy taste with a mild hop & & very little bitterness. It finishes dry with very little aftertaste. Overall a very generic ipa.
3.7Bona cervesa molt equilibrada i gustosa.
Buena cerveza muy equilibrada y sabrosa.
3.2Bottle from total wine. Pours hazy amber with a small off white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma has pine, a lot of caramel, light citrus. The taste is pretty bitter but had a strange balance. It’s okay.
3.6From a 22 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a murky copper with a thick off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of citrus with some ash notes. Bitter finish.
3.0Draft. Pours on the lighter side with some floral hoppiness in the aroma. Moderately-hopped with little noticable alcohol. Not bad.
3.4Pours a murky yellow/tan color with a huge foamy head. Smells of citruis, earthhy tones and hop. Taste is earthy pine and slightly orange and other citruis fruits. A bit too carbonated in my opinion. Not a great IPA but it's ok.
3.6On tap at Garage 39. Light copper color, medium body. Piney nose but resin, pine, grassy, subtle hoppy goodness in terms of taste. Well done.
3.6Tap at dig beer baR. Pleasant moderate citrus nose with a sourish tinge. Clean light copper/orange color. Solid citrusy initial / caramel and more bitterness, with an added aspect of tree bark or herbs / finish is clean and lightly bitter. Medium-heavy body. Very good, slightly hop-heavy stuff.
4.0Bottle: Pours orange amber with a mountain of beige head. Terrific retention and lacing. Some florals and caramel in the nose, resin and citrus. Pungent. Flavors come together seamlessly and it doesn’t take long to forget about descriptors… this is a star. Enjoyed immensely and for $3.79/bomber it’s arguably the best IPA for your dollar in the 22oz format.
1.6Bottled: unk
Dark amber with a finger of thick off whites, which leave really thick lace billows. Nose of malts, english malts and some hints of grassy, soapy and minty hops. Almost also has a slight, slight snus note. Tastes like malt with some bittering and spleny of floral and soapy hops. Malts are brutally oxidized with cardboard strait up in a mutha. Also has a slight seltzer tone and hollow character. Medium bodied with moderately hi carb. This beer fails.

3.5Draft to plastic cup. :( (Lezzet Osaka 1st year anniversary) Grapefruit, nut aromatics. Cloudy amber with a small tan/white head. Light hoppiness for an IPA; grapefruit and caramel.
5.0Moderately cloudy orange. Whoa nilly! This is a hoppy yet perfectly balanced brew. Bitter and Just the right amount of malt balance. I’ve had a lot of ipa’s since I’ve been in WA and this one def takes the cake! Nice bitter hop punch, but not overly bitter. Awesome! My new favorite Ipa! I just realized there is nothing bad I can say about this brew..Holy crap, it’s a fiver.
3.5The head on this is ridiculous- big and fluffy with lacing. Smell is of grass, pine, and slight citrus. Taste is a bit earthy and the typical hop/malt balance of an IPA. Decent.
3.2Bomber from trade with michaelinwa. Pours a clear light orange color with a big fluffy head that fades normally but still lingers at the end. Leaves nice chunky lacing. Aroma is perfumy hops, grass, lemons, grapes, oranges, grapefruit, and light pine. Taste is sugary sweet up front. Lemon, grapes, citrus fruit. Mild bitterness. Has a very dry, wine-like finish with grape skins. Medium body. Mouthfeel is very fizzy and a little oily. Aroma was pretty good but not a fan of the taste or finish.
2.1I don’t like IPAs, but as far as the style goes, this is one of the better IPAs I’ve tried.
3.1Pours orange, two finger head.
Smell grassy hops, floral
Taste sweeter, dirty earth and hop.
Mild, med bodied.
Not bad.
3.6Bottle from Total Wine, Bellevue, Seattle, WA, USA. A golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty, pine, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, malty, citrus, pine, slightly bitter finish. Decent IPA from the Pacific Northwest.
3.7Smell is slightly citrusy and is mild. The taste is bitter with hints of pine and citrus. For the price a solid beer.
3.6On tap at diamond knot. Aroma is hops and citrus. Taste is hoppy and mild grapefruit. Bitter but not overly, pretty well balanced.
3.8Light near clear copper pour with airy white head. Aroma is hoppy. Taste is citrus rind. Nice balance. Classic ipa.
4.3Piney like I like it. Good color body and aroma. Thank god for northwest beers and their hops. Low malt flavor as it should be but well balanced. Enjoyed it at the source.
3.8Lovely fruity hops aroma. Rich fruity malt flavors, bittersweet finish. Very smooth and enjoyable Seattle IPA.
3.9November 2011. 22 oz. bottle. Dark amber color with a large head. Pine, hop, citrus and caramel aromas. Malty flavors with caramel and hops. A bit spicy, but very refreshing and with a long finish.
3.7Bottle from Bierkompass!
Nice label. Pours hazy amber colored with high white head. Smell has some fruity hops and some pine woods. Starts very fruity hoppy, lots of grapefruit and tropical fruit. Middle part is further deliciously fruity with massive grapefruit and some pine woods. Goes into a fruity-sweetish finish with some caramel.
