Dieu du Ciel! Blanche du Paradis

Dieu du Ciel! Blanche du Paradis

Blanche du Paradis is a Belgian-style Wit brewed with coriander seeds and Curaçao orange peels, the spices traditionnally found in this classic style. Unfiltered and containing almost as much raw wheat as malted barley, it presents a veil of yeast and proteins giving this style its "Blanche" name. Round and light at the same time, it exhales fresh baked bread aromas, and reveals spices and citrus flavours, accompanied by subtle notes of acidity coming from the wheat.

3.6 On Tap @El Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo 03/06/2018 Color amarillo corona de espuma blanca, aromas levadura, platano, sabor cereal, notas a trigo y levadura cuerpo medio, rica.
3.3 Caña en el Lúpulo Oviedo 01..06..2018. (r407). Color amarillento velado con espuma blanca persistente. Sabores frescos maltosos y cereales con suaves herbales verdes y cítricos. Algo especiada, suave. Cuerpo ligero fácil de beber. Refrescante, buena.
3.4 Being quite a devotee from Brasserie DdC this one comes out as slighly underwhelming to me, despite still being a pretty good Witbier. On the plus side, it's quite yeasty both in the aromas and the acidity it brings to the taste, which for me is a big plus. However the aroma could have a stronger punch overall, and the palate is not the greatest, very light bodied and weak finish.

3.5 Draft to taster at Dutch's from notes (late '13). Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale bready wheat malts, spices, orange peel, light acidity, it checks the boxes for the style but doesn't do much for me.
3.4 Ljust gyllengul öl med ett vitt skum. Doft och smak av jäst, malt, hö, lätt fruktighet och örtig kryddighet.
3.8 On tap. Golden colour wtih white head. Spice and wheat aroma. Spice, wheat, citric taste. MEdium body.
3.6 Hazy pale yellow with a small white head that fades quickly to a sheet leving minimal lace. Nose is wheat, citrus (orange and lemon at the fore) , coriander, yeast and some light honey. Flavour is lightly sweet with a light+ citrus tartness and a well balanced spice that appears in the middle and fades through the finish. Mouth is medium- and smooth with average carbonation and a dry finish. 8/3/7+/4-/14+
4.0 Douce, léger soupçon d'épices.
3.5 Draft at Hopfenstark Station Ho.st, Montreal. Hazy yellow, white head. Aroma of citrus, wheat and spice. Taste is citrus, wheat, clove, coriander, yeast. Refreshing.
Carbonazione medio bassa.
3.0 This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a very small sized head of finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a very softly carbonated body semi-transparent weak yellow orange colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was musty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering mild hoppy aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of mild lager wheat and spices. An OK brew just nothing special.
3.5 Very good beer. Not a strong aroma, but with a citrus touch. 5,5% of alcohol.
3.0 Pours hazy pale yellow with very thin white head that quickly disappears. Smells discretely wheat. Aromas are acid wheat malt, coriander, orange peels, pepper. Average carbonation, light/medium body. Long bitter and spicy bitter.
3.5 From Bierkraft. In Teku glass. Playing 12 Labours of Hercules 5. Not bad but The coriander, spicyness and lemony notes are a bit over what Id like and the body a bit below
3.4 Bottle from Healthy Spirits Castro. Hazy amber color, white head. Bittersweet taste with citrus, yeast, earthy notes, ripe fruits, coriander, wheat and grass. Bittersweet finish with citrus, wheat, yeast, coriander, grass and a bit of ripe fruits. Very nice witbier.

Coriander, citrus (orange), herb. Light sweet, light acid, light dry bitter, refreshing, light spicy. Light body, light to medium texture, average carbonation, dry bitter spicy refreshing finish. 3.4 Pours a hazy yellow with a small But well retained head and some lacing on the glass. The aroma is spicy & a little soapy with some mild graininess. The flavor is pretty well balanced, pleasantly bitter with reasonably subtle spicing, a mild sweetness with a medium dry finish and some bright fruity notes throughout.
3.5 341ml bottle, bottled 04 Feb 16. Surprisingly clear golden colour with almost no head and some yeasty floaties. Strong aromas of orange zest, honey, banana, apricot and spices. The taste has sweet honey-like and slightly toasty maltiness, zesty orange, banana, a little over-spiced. Light bodied, nice acidic tang. Nice wit but just a little heavy handed on the coriander and/or 4VG phenolics.
3.4 Bottle - pours hazy yellow with small head. Aroma is clove, grainy malt, banana. Taste is malt, spice and a bit of citrus across the taste.
3.9 Sample at SBWF 2016. Fruity and yeasty spicy smell with some foam banana. Similar taste. Fresh and refreshing.
