English: Dark Beast is a Cascadian Dark Ale aka. Black IPA. Dark Beast is a dry and slightly burnt ale with US hops prominent in aroma as well as taste.

4.1 Wonderful aromas of roasted malt. The taste of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and caramel. The aftertaste and the heavy bitterness fills the mouth forever. According to me, it was too much bitterness. But if you want a heavy bitterness, this is the beer to drink. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
3.5 330ml brown bottle, with a nicely designed label picturing a beer drinking beast, poured into a Tulip glass. Appearance is opaque brownish black with a small tan head, that dissipated quickly. Aroma and flavour of roasted malts, orange peels, grapefruit, dark chocolate and dark bread. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium bodied, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Overall a very good beer, Black IPA is one of my favourite styles, but I prefer them higher ABV.
3.6 4 finger light brown head, black body. Nose: Milk-chokolate, ash, liquorice, coffee, starfruit, grass and cacao-powder. Aroma: Chocolate, coffee, grassy notes, liquorice, ash, starfruit, resin, orange-chocolate, blood-oranges, cacao and some smoked notes. Long bitter ending.
3.3 Dark roasty aroma! Really dark color too with practically no head neither carbonization. The taste is according to the aroma. Kind of bitter in the aftertaste! Soft palate. A good one overall!
3.5 Black color with a frothy and creamy light tan head with good lasting and nice lacework. Aroma has notes of fresh hops, some roasted notes and black coffee. Flavor has hints of coffee, some licorice, roasted malts and with a good bitterness. The final has some ashes notes woth coffee hins and a moderate bitterness.
3.7 Really nice roasted flavor. Beautiful color and really well balanced little bit of caramel.
3.6 On tap at La fira del poblenou. Black colour with beige head. Hoppy, roasted, coffee aroma. Bitter, hoppy, grass, roasted and coffee taste. Medium body.
3.5 330ml bottle. Pitch black body with a small tan head. Fruity aroma, with some roasted malt and dark chocolate. Bitter and roasted in flavor, with a surprisingly light palate. Long roasty finish. Low co2 & easy to drink. Quite nice for a straight forward easy to drink BIPA.
2.7 Dåligt med skum, för lite kolsyra. Känns som hembryggt, men godare ändå. Fin brödig bränd rågsmak. Men faller ändå rätt platt...
3.1 The beer is Dark and bitter and smoky aftertaste, really nice colour. The bottle looks cheap but the beer has a rich taste
4.5 Great head lasts forever. Lots of lace. Enough bittering hops, not so much flavor or aroma. Tastes more like a great American porter. Excellent body. Ditto finish. Very drinkable.
2.9 Aroma: Smelling of molasses, dates, coffee and chocolate. Appearance: A clouded black colored beer. A low brown head with some lacing and good curtains. Taste: Tasting dark bread, dates, coffee and grape-fruit peel. Palate: Medium low carbonation, a coarse texture. A small body with a dry finish. Overall: Too much dark bitter coffee and peel, not balanced. Note: Bottle 330 ml at home. Reviewed 2014-06-23.
3.0 Roasted malt but not much hops in the aroma. Dark with beige head. Nice roasted taste with coffe notes and a dark chocolate bitterness. Medium body average carbonation. It is a nice beer, but it is not a black IPA, too little hops. Had it been called porter the rating would have been higher.
3.7 Tap @ Fairbar. Hazy light blackish pour with some head. Nose has a burnt malts, peach, apricot. Taste is sweet, light hoppy with again peach and apricot, some burnt malts. Finishes dry and medium bitter.
3.0 Bottle from systembolaget. Smell of coffee, dark chocolates, liquorice and vanilla. Pours black with a small brown head. The taste is really plain and dosen’t tell much. Has a creamy feeling in the mouth with a long bitter and subtle smokey aftertaste.
Trevlig.
3.3 Draught (flight) @ Fairbar, Aarhus. Pours hazy very dark brown with small light tan head. Clear aroma of roast and hops, with notes of malt and coffee. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of roasted malt and touches of yeast. Hints of liquorice. Dusty and bitter finish. OK but rather dusty for the style.
3.5 Dark brown, almost black, with dense head. Chocolate and pine aroma. Also coffee and citrus tones in the taste. Well balanced with the hops and full bodied, yet soft.
3.6 Pours murky dark brown with tall tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate malts, light citrus. Taste is mellow bitter, initially somewhat citrusy but mostly coffee bitter in the finish. Light, smooth, almost creamy, body with soft carbonation.
3.5 33 cl bottle. Pours black as a moonless night. Very typical roasted notes in aroma and flavor for a BIPA: coffee, burnt grass. Pleasant soft carbonation and full bodied palate. Nice bitter finish
3.7 Black pour with tan head. Malty and hoppy taste. Cinnamon and earthy. Very dry pallette. Or in dehydrated. Either way it is good. Weird black IPA.
3.7 (Bottle). Aroma of dark roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, liquorice and grassy hops. Wonderfully soft taste of hops, roasted malt and much licorice. Dry and smooth aftertaste with elements of licorice. A tasty beer!
3.4 Bottle from SB cons 2014-06-07 Göteborg AR: roasted malt, liqurice, chocolate, bitter grape fruit AP: dark brown/reddish body, wee brown head F: low carbonation - still body, heavy to medium grape fruit bitternees, chocolate - dark and dry, liqurice, roasted malt
3.7 @Ölprovning på Havregatan. Flaska från Systembolaget. Arom: Rostade toner, kaffe, choklad, aska/askfat. Smak: Rostade toner, kaffe, choklad, viss humlighet.
Mycket rostad malt i smaken. Tack Wihlan.
