3.7 The marble elegant wine label in the European palace makes the shark quiet. The beautiful amber liquid is covered with a thin layer of white foam and dispersed quickly. The aroma is not very strong, but you can still smell citrus, caramel, pineapple mixed fruit, and hops. The taste is light, the acceptance is certainly good, because it is not very bitter, but the relative fruit flavor is also light down. There is also a trace of herbal flavor in fine products, and the essence of drinking is not low at 6 degrees! A lighter IPA, not bad!
3.4 bottles from online store. Everything seems less strong, the aroma, the bitterness...it doesn't mean this beer is lame, I just have a feeling that this brew should have a stronger taste.
3.4 Cloudy golden body with a big foamy and persistent, good lacing white head. Aroma is citrus hops, mild floral and resinous notes. Taste is malty, caramel, candied oranges, grapefruit, resinous and floral hoppy note on top. Bitter and citrus finish. Medium body soft carbonation oily texture
4.2 Biertje onder de (plastic) palmboom. Morgen gaan we voor de echte. IPA die niet uitgesproken hoppig is maar moutige smaak heeft. Lekker!
3.1 Just so so
3.9 355ml bottle. Opalescent, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white to off-white head. Sweet-ish, pale and caramel malty, fruity, slightly citrusy and piney, resinous, hoppy aroma, notes of mandarine, orange, some melon, pineapple with slight jelly bear touch, whiffs of lychee, minimally grassy and floral overtones. Taste is sweet, pale and caramel malty, mildly bitter, fruity hoppy with slight jelly bear touch, notes of melon, some lychee, pineapple, citrusy hints of mandarine, lemon, a grassy touch, some lemon tea, some resin, some mineral bitterness as well. Minimally creamy and oily, overall watery texture, smooth and soft, slightly dry palate, fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Not the IPA with most intense hop flavours to be found out there, but rich, multifaceted, very sophisticated, perfected - iconic.
3.5 Can. Hoppy aroma and taste, malty notes, light caramel and citrus fruit, medium bitter. Medium body, hoppy and malty bitter finish. Ok.
1.7 This was the beer for a crew of people, all summer long. We just got a new case, with new artwork. It tastes like a lager. No, really. It's awful compared to what it used to be. Thanks for the 'update,' Jim Koch.
4.0 330ml bottle. Pours a light gold with strong fluffy white head and lots of visible carbonation. Light hoppy nose with hints of fresh fruits. Medium body with low velvety notes and no heat. Low hop presence, grass and pine. Hints of citrus and light bitterness as well as low drying. A strong malt presence. An excellent beer which is very drinkable compared to the other two in this series.
5.0 One of my favorite whether on tap or in a bottle this beer never disappoints.
2.9 A bottle at home. The beer is okay nothing special and very run of the mill. It probably inspired Brewdog in the UK
3.3 The Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA can be consumed in 60 seconds. Consistent and drinkable.
3.5 Citrusy and some pines. Floral. Resin. Candy sweet notes. Pineapple and grapefruit notes. Hoppy. Moderately bitter. Medium carbonation. Somewhat sessionable.
3.8 Nitro keg at Great Lost Bear, Portland, ME on 22/03/2008. Very much a classic. Great hoppy aroma and wonderful bitterness.
5.0 Nice ipa along with 90 mins and 120 mins. It’s also famous and illustrated in the beer introduction book.
4.0 Not bitter, smooth
3.8 Not my favorite beer. It’s got a very punishment smell when you crack open the bottle. Pours nice with a good finish. Heavy bite on the first sip, but becomes neutral by the end of the bottle. Nothing very exciting with the flavors, but has a good hop flavor to help you finish. It’s your classic IPA that will be sufficient, but also not want you to keep ordering another.
2.7 This near milky beer is a travesty to all who were misfortunate enough to experience. Terribly flat and barely foamy, the texture left my tongue feeling dry and peculiarly bumpy.
1.0 Didn't enjoy the cedar and flowery taste. Like drinking wood.
4.2 zapach bardzo intensywny, bardzo chmielowy, dużo żywic, dużo tropików, pełno skór z cytrusów, świeża, młoda sosna, trochę mango, t tle słody i może bardzo lekki miód z odrobiną jasnego karmelu. kolor głebokiego złota, lekko opalizujący, piana biała, średnio obfita i średnio trwała. w smaku bardzo żywiczne, świeże sosny, świeża żywica, bardzo dużo skór i białych części z cytrusów, sporo kwiatów, odrobina miodu kwiatowego i trochę mocno przypieczonego biszkoptu, odrobina karmelu i sporo ziół, może werbena? goryczka zdecydowanie wysoka, długa, świeża, żywiczna i cytrusowa z roślinnymi nutami, ale nie przykrywa całkowicie słodowej strony piwa. nasycenie umiarkowane do wysokiego
Jugando a Slay the Spire y Guacamelee 2. Suave ipa bastante agradable, con notas a pomelo y algo de resina
4.7 Malty to begin and with a brilliantly hoppy aftertaste that lingers in the best way. This is delicious.
3.4 12 oz. bottle pours a deep yellow with a one finger head of white foam that dissipates quickly and leaves lacing. The aroma is maltier than I would have expected with hints of orange and cedar. The mouthfeel is rounded and somewhat thick with above average carbonation. The taste is sweet like a Belgian ale with strong fruity esters. The hops are present, but not as pronounced for an IPA. The hops lend a nice palate cleaning bitterness with flavors of citrus peel and woodsiness. I taste more cedar than pine. Overall, this is a very balanced beer that leans to the malty side of IPAs.
3.0 Vom Fass in Lewisburg (PA), optisch klares Gold, im Trunk fruchtig, dann bitter, leicht alkoholisch, okay.
4.0 Creamy, a little citrusy, not too bitter but flavorful. Really drinkable.
2.6 Evergreen aroma. Taste is pine resin and floral hop bitterness. Just a hint or sweet malt and crispness. Hoppy aftertaste.
4.0 Pours amber into the glass with a small white head. Citrusy aroma. Smooth palate with a classic IPA flavor.
4.5 Everything you would want in an ipa for taste .. 6% alcohol. Nice taste though. Flavorful but it lacks something cant seem to figure out. It is balanced well, just as it says on bottle. Have a weird aftertaste on back of tongue but would buy again
3.5 Bottle from a random deli in Brooklyn. Bottled 3.5 months ago. Unripe tropical fruit overall character. Delicate candy-like sweet notes, some resinous notes too. Very dry. Kinda prickly. Light. Would make a good summertime brew. Considering the hype, it's sorta underwhelming. Still rather good though.
