4.2 Refreshing and tart. Just the right amount of peach. Great summer beer.
3.5 Bottle at home. Pours a clear pale straw. Very effervescent. Aroma is mild sharp fruit. Flavor opens with hints of peach, developing into tart green apple. High effervescence really carries the flavors well. Finish is dry and crisp. Light to medium body. Very refreshing summer brew.
3.4 On draft at The Iron Press Anaheim. Cloudy yellow with little white head. Little aroma, a little peach taste!
3.3 From Oct 2007 I got this one in a trade with Wasatch. Thanks John! This pours from 12oz bottle...whoa....the beer started spurting out of the bottle as soon as I popped the cap. Needless to say, it has a *huge* head of foam...err..it's still seeping out of the bottle. Dang. Anywho, it's a cloudy straw colour and it has a lot of lacing. The smell is definitely of peaches and it has some yeast and a lot of sourish notes are hitting my nose buds. The taste has peach but that's overwhelmed by some real sourness. I also get a yeast flavour but again, the sour rules this brew. Good think I like sour, eh? After the second pour, I notice some sediment in my glass but it isn't adversely affecting the flavour so I'm down with that. Pretty refreshing brew. It has a light body and the carbonation is medium. It finishes right where it started..sour. I like it. Thanks, John. It's different but I favour the difference.
3.1 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a thin white ring. Medium carbonation. Thin body. Crisp, tart, and light taste. Flavor of sour peaches. Dry finish.
3.2 Lite smell, hazy color, slightly sharp with easy sour taste....refreshing .............
3.4 Dogfish head makes so much mediocre beer, but this one is actually decent an refreshing. Some fruit, tarness and a wee bit funk.
2.2 Vom Fass im Stone Brewing Berlin 2016-11 getrunken. Eine Gut gemachte Berliner Weise mit nur einer ganz leichten Säure. Doch leider auch fast etwas langweilig.
2.7 Aroma is pleasant but very faint. I like the golden cloudy appearance but very little and fading SUDS. The sour taste hit you and I feel like that has to be your style in order to really enjoy this but I think it is good.
3.4 Bottle. Pours a hazy dark yellow. Smells bright, of wheat and floral notes. Nice tart taste with peach and lemon grass. A nice sour beer wit good tartness and no funk.
3.1 Hazy straw color; Medium body; Aroma of wheat, some yeast, fruit, & floral; Flavor of wheat, yeast, fruit (notably peaches), and citrus; Finish is dry and slightly tart/sour; Fairly well balanced; Decent.
3.5 Tap at one eyed Betty’s. Pours hazy light lemon yellow. No head. Aroma is tart light lemon, grass, peach? Orange. Flavor is tart light lemon lime, grass, little wheat. Solid. Light and refreshing.
3.6 Hazy amber color with a minimal head. Nose is tart and fruity. Very tart at first taste and fades to a dry fruity finish. Medium bodied and refreshing, a very crisp and easy drinking beer.
3.7 4.5%ABV. Berliner Weisse. Poured out gold. 4ºSRM. Nose is beery and lightly fruity. There is a hefeweizen funk to the nose. Mouthfeel is juicy. Palate has pale malt and wheat malt. Wheat toast, biscuits, crackers, no sweet. Juicy fruity just ripe peach flavors. Sour middle palate with some minerality. Could go with a gose or a weissebier. No hops. Finish is light beery and clean lightly mineral finish.
3.6 12 oz bottle pours a yellow color with a small white head. Aromas of peach, funk, light floral. Light bodied, easy, refreshing
3.9 Vom Fass bei Stone in Berlin. HellgelbesBier, weisser Schaum. Säuerliches Pfirrsich Aroma. Recht kräftige Frucht. Angenehm saurer Geschmack. Im Mittelteil kommt deuenter die Frucht. Im Abgang Bier und Hopfen.
2.8 Bottle. Drank from Bottle. Nose is mild. Taste is crisp, with a slightly sour note. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.9 Rating #2154 - 2015.11.07 - Bottle from Bevmo - Pours a bubbly light yellow with a decent head - medium retention. Aroma is peach iced tea. Palate is tart, notes of peach, funk. Medium-high carbonation. Extremely refreshing.
2.6 Pours a slightly tinted straw yellow, almost a greenish hue. No head really. Aroma of lemongrass and sour funk. More citrus on the tongue, florals, a sharp mouthfeel with abrupt carbonation and a bit of an acid burn going down.
3.1 Bottle to tumbler Consummation: Peach, lemon, lacto, and a bit of skunk Adjunct: Aroma of light grains, peach, and rotting apples; clear, light amber, no head; underwhelming
3.1 Bottle. Pours straw yellow, bit hazy with small white head. Aroma of peaches, lacto, apricots. In taste light sour, fruity with peaches and apricots, lemon and lacto notes. Light body, moderate carbonation, sour finish.
3.3 Location: 4 pack from Whole Foods Market in Redwood City, CA Aroma: Light commercial corn funk, white wine, underripe peaches Taste: Tart underripe peaches, white wine Palate: Crisp Overall: A little underwhelming in the peach department, was hoping for something a little juicier. Had more of a mineral, white wine, commercial pils component going on.
3.4 12 ounce bottle from Total Wine in Roseville, slight tartness, mild fruit, no sweetness. Cloudy.
3.4 Bottle. Pours a lightly cloudy straw yellow with a mostly fading off white bubbly head. Aroma is of peach, citrus, tart, apricot. Taste is of peaches, stone fruit, citrus, floral. Light oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation.
3.2 Bottle. It poured a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma was of malts, peaches, some citrus and tartness. The taste was similar to the aroma with more peaches, citrus and tartness. It had a light to medium sweet sour finish. Tasty.
3.8 Draft. Pours partly cloudy yellow with some white head. Nose and taste is mild peach, lemon. Mineral taste. Very mild for a Berliner Weisse.
3.3 On tap at Joe. Pours very pale. Slightly sour with just a bit of peaches. A good summer day sour. Not bad!
2.9 Tap at Five Points Pizza, Nashville, 13th July 16. Taste is astringent, acidic, maybe some peach, sour, in a bad way, although refreshing, unsophisticated, not for me.
2.6 12oz bottle from Eataly in NYC. The Weisse beer poured a cloudy straw color with an off white head. The aroma of peaches is quickly detected. The rich sour taste of this style is appealing. Peaches add a balance to the sourness. The beer has a light body and soft carbonation. This was recommended at the Eataly by their beer purchaser. The sour comes at you all the way to the last swallow.
3.3 Peach. Fizzy. dry. White wine. Thx Anthony. Tasted at dad’s pig roast. Yeasty.
