2.4 Une lager très simple en bouche, sans grande particularité, qui sert avant tout à désaltérer.
2.5 Ok, just had recently in a bottle as a gift form bryan. Drank right from the bottle, its pretty good and civilized. Very refreshing, good co2 level. Not sure why I rated this so low the first time. Decent friendly lager fer sher. I guess I rated it so low because it was double the price of cheap pale civilized lager, eh? OLD 2.2 RATING 2007: Matured on Dos equis darker beers. Pour is light and bubbly. Almost looks like a typical american light beer. Aroma may be perfumy but this may be the smell of the dishwasher chemicals. Very lager like and well behaved. Friendly and repeatable. There are other lager beers that are out there that are more enjoyable and less expensive. Finish is not offensive at all. Like-able and nice.OLD RATING 2007:
2.1 Meh alkaline , slightly hoppy, very watery brew, clearly not the best of Mexico imports to the US, to say the least (24 ounce can Houston , TX)
1.0 Pours clear golden with a one finger, white head. Aroma is faint corn and that's it. Taste is light corn syrup. Finish is corn syrup.
2.6 Puszka 355 ml, zakupiona przez ojca w Playa Del Carmen. Wypita 6.06.2021. Barwa jasno-złota, klarowna. Piana biała, średnia, mało trwała, minimalnie zdobi szkło. W aromacie lekko słodowe. W smaku niska goryczka.
2.5 Cerveja de qualidade padrão
2.5 Old rating from 2016 - 330ml bottle, pours straw colour with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of flora, corn, crackers, earth, grain & hops. Moderate body. Clean finish
2.8 Not sure how I have never rated this. Not much to say, except that it went well with the homemade fish tacos. Really no off of flavors in the bottle that I had today.
1.8 Appearance: clear bright gold, moderate white head of decent retention. Aroma: malt, some corn. Distant hop. Taste: light to medium sweet, malty.ittle hop. Corn. Simplistic. Mouth feel: light to medium body, average to lively carbonation. Overall: nothing to discuss
1.5 0.355 l bottle. Cleat light golden, snow-white foam. Aroma: corn, light malt, corn sticks, a little candies. Taste: malty, a bit sweet, candies, corn syrup and sticks, a bit of sadness.
2.4 330ml bottle. Pours a dark gold with a thin white head but no retention. Aroma is malt and corn. Taste is sweet malt and corn but with a nice bitter bite at the end. Decent body and carbonation to match. Very basic but fairly clean and no real off-notes. There is much worse out there.
2.9 12 oz. bottle poured to a Czech-pils glass at Lunar Brewing Co.. Maybe part of a few hydrator sessions in the past, but never rated. Displayed a clear & bright, golden hue, with a fluffy layer of soft white froth that reduced to a persistent ring, light film, and a ribbon-like band of lacing. The nose was light grain, pils malt scent, corn, and a slight touch of dried fruit skins. Light bodied, with lively, seltzer-like carbonation, the taste was similar with fading expression, dried a bit, but offered a somewhat crisp & clean finish. Typical picnic/summer brew. Still don't trust green bottles.
AROMA cereais. SABOR cereais e leve cítrico. SENSAÇÃO corpo baixo e carbonatação moderada.
1.6 More malt flavour than a corona but that doesn’t mean it’s any better. This no more than sugary malt water. It doesn’t even deserve to be lawnmower beer. It’s perfect for Tooheys New drinkers!
2.4 Not very very flavorful beer rather flat and mainstream. Fruity flavors with a dry finish. Medium to light body. Low carbonation. Not too bad I guess.
1.1 33 cl bottle at La Chamana, Madrid. A golden pour with foamy white head. Aroma is mainly malty, reminds me of Golden Grahams. Rather bland, mouthfeel is like sparkling water with a tinge of bitterness.
2.3 Surprised that a rating of XX had not happened before. I have a tall schooner in front of me at Bubba’s 33 before the pizza comes out. A clear light yellow with a strong white head. Taste is fairly generic, grain, a touch of citrus and water. Slightly sweet. Add a slice of lime, delightful.
2.5 Bottle 12fl.oz. @home poured into a shaker. Clear pale golden colour, small fizzy white head, mostly diminishing. Aroma sweet malt, grain, straw, Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grain, corn, metallic notes. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, sweet and slightly bitter aftertaste, typical macro lager.
1.9 Tight white head stayed on a highly carbonated pale golden body. Floral aroma. Medium bodied, smooth over the tongue with a lively back. Pale malt, pepper, confectionery, syrup & fruit juice cordial tastes.....
1.7 Sampled from the tap at La Margarita, a Mexican restaurant in San Antonio, Texas. Served very cold and, sadly, very flat. Extremely under-carbonated. No aroma but a little bit of sweetish lime in the taste. Apart from that, there was really no flavour at all. Of anything. At least there were no off-flavours. Very thin in the mouth. If you are interested in beer, you should probably avoid the disappointment and steer clear of this one.
4.5 Love this stuff. So smooth and fresh. Made for the summer.
3.0 Plain, but good
2.5 Aroma of slight grain and nothing more. Taste is grain, corn sweetness, cardboard, metal. Not getting the noble grassy hop bite that I get from better macro pales. Best I can say about it is it has slightly more taste and character than BMC. That's not a high bar of measurement by any means, of course!
1.8 Nada fuera de lo común. Muy parecida al resto de lagers de México. Un color amarillo, con poco olor, con ciertas notas de maíz.
2.1 355ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma is corn, grass and cardboard. Taste is watery malt, corn. Weak.
2.4 [On tap at a Mexican restaurant in Fullerton, CA.] I was expecting the amber beer, but this turned up instead. A bland and insipid lager style beer - pale straw with a loose white head; cereal aroma; and a faint grassy bitterness - I won't make the same mistake again.
1.6 Aside from the Mexico lager, I am more curious about the pronunciations of the beer, it’s silent S or stress s.
4.1 I love this beer. It's better than modelo but not better than modelo negro.
