An American Pale Ale. For batch number 1500, Josh & Brian decided to brew a big hoppy beer, yet make it quaffable by keeping the alcohol level down. Turns out everyone liked it so much, that it is now brewed year-round. Loads of Simcoe and Amarillo hops are blended in the fermenter, just after fermentation has finished, to impart a huge aroma of pine and citrus.

4.3A great pale ale. Light in color and full flavor with a clean finish. Smells and tastes "fresh".
3.5Tap. Pours clear amber. Aroma and flavor are pale and caramel malts, pear, citrus, nice balance, and crisp dry finish with some bitterness lingering. Medium body
3.6Thanks Carl! A bottle a bit past prime, but still a nice smooth pale that had traces of the big citrusy hops. A bit of grainy body. Good stuff.
3.8Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of caramel, pine, citrus, grapefruit and grassy hop. Taste has fresh grapefruit, citrus, caramel, mild pine and a bitter hoppy finish.
3.3Bottled 355ml (Beer Republic, bottled 27/03/17)
Slightly hazy yellow color, small white head. Peach, pine, citrus in the nose. Light-bodied. Pale malty, a bit fruity, grapefruity and pine hops. Some fruity sweetness in the aftertaste. Easy-going well-brewed APA.
2.9Bottled and opened after 11 days. Aroma slight fruity, estery, bubblegum. Appearance clear and very pale orange, many dry hop floaties add minor haze. Tastes sweet light/medium, bitter medium/heavy, sour light. Very crisp, light body. Soft carbonation with pretty fluffy white head dissipating quickly, not much lacing. Creamy finish with slight astringency. Overall a pretty light bodied ale quaffable but a tad on the bitter side to be deemed sessionable.
3.5Bottle. Pours a dark orange colour with a thin white head, aroma is light and hoppy with hints of orange, the taste is medium bitterness with a dry bitter finish. &
3.8Dark gold with a frothy white head. Lemon peel and pine are the aroma stand outs. Malt takes a backseat to resiny hop flavors. Balanced and not overly bitter for it’s medium bodied palate. Nicely done and quite enjoyable.
3.4Orange medium aroma malt caramel fruit citrus hop. Taste the same not much in aroma and vlavour probably past best before sweet
3.812oz bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Amber brown, not much head. Resin hop aroma. Toffee grain hop flavour. Better sweet aftertaste. Better than their IPA.
3.5On tap. Solid resin and fruit aroma. And a solid resin a.d fruit taste with good balance. Long bitter finish. Solid pale ale. Nothing wrong with it.
3.7Bottled. Pours clear deep golden with an average off-white head. Aroma of citrus, peachy notes, pine and caramel. Sweet flavor that ends up being dry and pleasant bitter. Medium bodied, watery to oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice APA. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
3.4Tap at eureka in palm desert. Dark gold with medium white head and good lacing. Sweet hop aroma. Very sticky. Hoppy but with syrupy malt and fruit like elements. Not a one dimensional beer. But not sure I prefer it.
4.1Draft at base camp Tahoe -. Pours amber, not really pale but beautiful with an ivory head and sick lacing. Aroma is ripe berry, pine resin. Nice creamy mouth feel. Strawberry, pepper, citrus, traces of caramel. Delicious!
3.5Tap at GABF. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is pine, citrus, grass. Medium body, grapefruit, pine, lingering bitter finish, very good.
4.2Cloudy gold color with a healthy white head of foam. Juicy, bright citrus with a dialed-in balance of cereal malt. Up there with Lagunitas Born Yesterday Pale Ale in being one of the greats.
3.6From a bottle. Just what you would expect, well made with a big slap of hops, super sessionable.
3.5On tap at the Office. Pours a clear gold with an orange hue with a white head that dissipates to to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass with earthy grains and a hint of earthy pine. Flavor is very similar with grass supposed by earthy grains and earthy pine.
3.3Bottle. Pours a clear golden beer with a thinner white head on top. Aroma of grapefruit, oranges and herbal hoppyness. Flavor is mildly bitter, citrussy again and a bit dull overall. An enjoyable drink for sure, but not as fragrant or full flavored as I’d hoped. Carbonation is medium, aftertaste is short and light bitter.
