Drake’s winter offering is a deep orange monster that is loosely filtered to keep the integrity of the malt & hops intact. Equal amounts of American two row and English pale are combined with two types of Munich malt, and balanced with Chinook, Cascade & Amarillo hops. Enjoy the massive aroma and flavor of this beer. Available January - March.

4.1Llauna Hopt. Bona West Coast, citrica, resinosa amb 9,3 graus molt ben incorporats
4.044cl blik. Helder goudgeel kleur, fijne romige witte. De geur is citrus en ananas. Smaak is zoet, hars, citrus en ananas.
4.1Bottle picked up from Beer Republic nr Breda, Netherlands and consumed at home Tuesday 5th January 2021 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6 Music and cooking Lasagne. Pours gold/orange with a white head, big punchy resinous hit, huge maltiness, almost numbing bitterness at times but it is super, lovely, lovely beer.
3.8Pours hazy amber, off-white lacing foam head. Aroma is hoppy, flower notes, malty. Taste is modest bitter, flower tones, malt again. Very nice, not over the top. (Velp 202012)
4.1Bottle from Beer Republic shared, pours golden color. Bottled in July. Flavor of pine, citrus, grapefruit, caramel, malts, sweetness. Medium body and bitterness, a lot of taste with great balace, quite smooth though.

3.965 cl bottle. Bottled on 07.02.2020.
Pours clear copper color with a large white head. Resinous hoppy aroma, caramel notes, orange, some pine, grapefruits. Flavor is malty bitter, resinous hoppy and somewhat piney, grapefruits and citrus. Nice bitterness and there's still hops present, a bit old though unfortunately.

3.2Bottle. Translucent and golden with a lacy white head. Smooth and a bit syrupy. Well balanced and tasty.
3.5Aroma: floral hops and citrus zest.
Heavy taste of citrus, tons of floral hops and honey
4.2Hop Bomb!! Fresh hop profile, to lingering bitterness and just enough maltiness to balance it out. Very well done. I think I'll have another.
3.8Pours a hazy golden-orange color with a medium bone white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lace. Piney hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
3.3@ Lafayette, San Diego 18-2-17: ganska spritig och sankar lite fruktighet annars helt ok
3.2Big bold intense hoppiness and bitterness. Harsh. 9.3% alcohol. 101 IBU. Very bitter flavor and mouthfeel. Piney. Overdone.
3.6Bottle from QC, drank w Matt before his trip for Ian’s and Alexis’ weddings. Pours a clear orange-copper, off-white head. Oily resin hop, perhaps a little unfresh (in that slightly flat sweetish way), malt, apple juice, some corn, lemony light spice. Boozy. Body is very oily, thick but smooth. Slick and very resinous.
3.6Bottle from QClub at home before trip. Translucent yellow copper pour with sticky lacing white head. Aroma is dank resin with apple juice maltiness. Taste is deep resin bitter and booze. A bit flat like it’s not been transported that well (but only bottled 3 months ago). With some heavy maltiness that subdues it all. Some lasting boozy bitter warmth. Straightforward resiny DIPA.
4.3Golden, lasting fresh lace. Big orange aroma, very fragrant, light floral, clementine, toast, honey... Loads of different aromas. And tastes too, very full, great full bodied bitterness, sweet balance, very satisfying. Yummy! A beer that really was worth celebrating my 6000th! (On tap at their Oakland taproom, with Nils chasing the pigeons and improving people with its cuteness)

3.8From a bottle. Pours hazy gold with a frothy off white head. Tastes like resin, caramel malt, grapefruit hops, bready, toffee, and a hint of alcohol. Medium body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like grapefruit hops, caramel malt, resin, bready, toffee, and a hint of alcohol.
3.8Bottle. Pours hazy amber. Aroma and flavor are juicy citrus, bready malts, light toast and caramel, piney bitterness, faint floral notes, and light spicy alcohol finish. Medium body
3.7Draft. Pours golden orange with a white head. Oily citrus zezt, some marmalade, peachy sweetness, mild piney bitterness, and a juicy citric finish. Pretty good.
3.8Draft. During my bachelor party long weekend in the san francisco area, second stop Drake’s Dealership. Golden pour with light head. Herbal, grassy, citrus and earthy notes.
3.922. Thanks so much, G! Pours a hazy medium golden amber with a nice sudsy whitish head that sticks around. Bright tangy pine nose, lots of residual sugars poking through. Creamy body on the high side of medium. Heavy toasted caramel sweetness up front, washing over into a very sharply dry grapefruity pine finish. Nicely done, but if the design were a subtler dynamic between bitter and sweet, this would be a true world-beater.
3.9(On tap @ Bottlecraft Liberty Station, SD, April 1/17) Pours amber with a decent sized white head, nearly clear. Aroma of pale pit fruit, mixed citrus, pine resin, slightly floral and tropical, nice rich hops overwhelming the malt. The flavour is fairly fruit-forward - more peaches, orange, some tropical notes, a fair amount of pine and resin, pretty robust caramel malt core, somewhat sweet but kind of juicy, building up pine and floral resin notes in the finish to hit an above average level of bitterness, sticky, very slight alcohol. Medium-full body, average but fine carbonation. A little old school, malty West Coast in style but it’s well done and well-hopped. Solid.
3.8Bottle from Safeway in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is pine, grapefruit peels. Taste is grapefruit marmalade with some sweet pine notes. Extremely well-balanced sweet and bitter.
4.3Pours a clean golden color with a settled fluffy head of creamy white head. Stone fruit and bright citrus dominate the aroma with a balanced malt base allowing the hops to shine through easily. Dank hops evolve to a dry pine finish.
3.9Pours hazy golden with low white head
Aromas and taste hoppy of tropical fruits , caramel, resin, pine
4.0Pours clear golden with a low white head. Aromas of citrus, peach, apricot, resin, pine. Taste is very fruity and quite bitter with some grassy notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation.
4.0Bomber - It pours a semi cloudy rich golden yellow with a thick soapy off white head that easily laces my glass. I love the big citrus and piney hop aroma that blasts the olifactory senses with a mouthwatering juicy bitterness. Delicious and massive IPA here of mostly citrus peel and a bit of pine resin collaborating with a caramel malt to make a hopocalypse on my palate.
