2.9 From tap. Pours hazy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is estery, slight herbal and mild apples. Sweet, fruity, sugarish and light spiced to herbal apples. Sweet and slight fruity far finish. Earlier Rating: 6/12/2008 Total Score: 1.5 RB BE #800: 25 cL bottle. Pours murky orange with a bubblye white head. Spiced and yeasty apple aroma. Mouthfeel is flat. Flavour is mild spiced and with a light applenote to a strange wheat/spelt like base. Holds a distinct spice note. Ends medium to light acidic apple flavoured. Strange and nothing I could drink much of.
2.5 Bottle. Cloudy straw yellow color, good and white foam. Aroma: hay, spicy, dried apples, wheat, coriander. Taste: very sweet, slightly sour, apple, spicy, not my.
2.6 Straw yellow. Hazy. Huge white frothy head. Falls down in half a minute. Well-lacing. The aroma is wheaty, yeasty, spicy. Not much of apple in between. Light body. Thin texture. The taste is a bit more sweet than it is applicable. Sugary, bready, spicy. Apple juice. Some artificial lemony notes. Low bitterness. Unimpressive.
2.2 Bottle, 33cL. @Largeasse, France. Kindly offered by Cyril. As "Corsendonk Apple White". A pale yellow hazy opaque with a big white foamy head ; average retention. Coriander, water, sugar, cereal ; I didn’t really get the apple aroma. Medium to heavy sweet ; light dry refreshing. Light body, watery texture, avearge carbonation, sweet spicy finish. Overall, meh ; very drinkable but too watery ; maybe too spicy to get the "subtle sweetness of ripe apples" ; not too sugary as expected.
2.5 Bottle @ home. Corsendonk Apple White-bottle. Pours with big white head. Artificial aroma of apple, jasmine and oregano. Taste is lightly tart and sweet apple candy with hints of yeast and herbs. Fresh taste as very cold.
2.9 (Apple Bocq) Tap 250ml at Terminus, Den Bosch, as Corsendonk Apple White. Bright yellow coloured body, cloudy, with a tall but thin white head on top, average retention. Aroma is mostly wheat, faint apple peel, spices. Very sweet taste, mostly wheat and sugars, something like corn, artificial apple and spices. Thin body with good carbonation. Nothing special, forgetable.
2.5 Bottle 33cl / Botella 33cl. @ Aeon Mall Nagoya Dome Mae, Nagoya, Japon. A: Hazy golden / Dorado turbio. T/S: Apple, sweet, artificial / Manzana, dulce, artificial.
2.8 Bottle from World Beer Market. A very cloudy light straw gold with a thick dense head of foam. The nose is fruity apple and wheat, a bit artificial but alright. The taste is fruit juice, apple, mild woodsy hops and wheat. More juice than beer but tasty enough.
2.1 TAP c4, than. Pours murky blond with almost no head . Aroma apple, candy dirt. Taste is the, vegetable..
1.8 Bottle sampled. Pours clear white wine golden with a white head. Aroma of artificial sweet apple, crappy air freshener and apple smelling dish wishing liquid. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a touch of sourness. Light bodied with light carbonation. Not good.
2.2 lemonade colour with white head; aroma of lemon, some coriander and apple pie; taste is dominated by artificial apple juice with lemony notes in the background; not good...
2.3 Musky and earthy... Subtle pine and orange cream... Apple skins. The most unique beer I’ve had in a while.
2.4 750, capped. Thanks, J! Pours a cloudy pale amber with a loose and sudsy whitish head. Big sweet syrupy soda pop nose, smells like a Sprite. Creamy medium body with light carb. Tastes like a Sprite; sticky sweet. Cloying finish.
3.4 Pours a hazy pale color, topped with a medium white head. Pleasant wheaty aroma, spices and fruits. Taste is fruity, sweet, very enjoyable. Mild soury finish and cidery aftertaste. Easily drinkable and enjoyable.
3.0 Bottle sample at beer&beyond, thanks beerandbeyond. Hazy green-blond. Delicate apple, candy aroma, tastes yeasty and apple juice. Quite flat, light-bodied, thin apple juice finish.
3.1 Hazy pale yellow colour. It’s effectively a sweet apple juice mixed with a Belgian Wit. Light and refreshing. Much better than any Radler.
2.5 Really excited at first - Belgium beer with apple and only 3.1%. Come to find it is just really carbonated sugar water with touch of alcohol. HArd to call beer. Different and unique nonetheless.
3.6 bright yellow slightly cloudy pour slight white head. Aroma slight bretta, peaches, cinnamon. Tastes super juicy apples cinnamon, dusty funk. sweet enough to not be for everyone, but it will be delightful for those who don’t mind.
2.2 Ik drink zeer graag appelbieren, zoals Newton en floris enzo, maar dit was een tegenvaller van formaat, slechtste appelbier ooit gedronken
2.6 Apple beer based on Blanche de Namur with a mousse-like, off-white head and a cloudy, straw-yellowish colour. Aroma dominated by cinnamon and sugary apple juice or some mass-marketed apple cider, but the wheat and even the coriander from the base witbier also shine through. Soft mouthfeel, very sweet apple juice taste, some soft acidity from the wheat, thin mouthfeel; thirst-quenching and to my personal taste less off-putting than their Redbocq or Agrumbocq, but still very far from my favorite style.
2.7 Bottle. Green apple nose, wheat, some light lemon. Cloudy apple juice color, thick head of light foam. Light tart apple initial, bit of citrus, a touch of astringent fruitiness in final. Thin body. Less of a beer than a malt fruit juice. Still, it could be refreshing on a hot day.
2.4 25cl bottle Appearance: Hazy pale straw color with a finger of tall fizzy white head. (more soda then beer like) Aroma: Apples with some citrus and a bit spices in the background. Taste Industrial cider like Apple soda taste with a bit of lemon The little extra wheat suggest it might be something different. Sour Sweet taste, more refined as these industrial ciders. However real ciders can be even better. medium carboation, Light Bodied,
3.1 Aroma: Mild Apple, Mild Belgian Sugar Appearance: Hazy Golden Straw Hue, Passes Some Light, White Head, Great Lacing Taste: Crisp Apple, Mild Wheat, Mild Belgian Sugar Mouthfeel: Great Carbonation, Light Bodied, Mildly Sweet
2.3 Fresh and fruity beer, luckily it’s a bit sour. Tastes more like cider than beer though.
2.6 Green apple skin aroma. Sweet apple soda, lemon, sour sweet finish. Would rather drink a proper cider than this hybrid brew...
2.6 Bottle shared with Dutch beer pages. Beer tastes like flat soda, sweet with a little head. Very disappointing.
2.0 Like fizzy applejuice but with a pretty bad aroma. Waited a while to try this but I could have waited longer. Bottle from De Schans.
3.7 750ml bottle (Corsendonk Apple White). Pours a hazy pale straw color with a finger of tall fizzy white head. Mild aromas of citrus and spices, and dominated by the aroma of apple juice. Tastes of fizzy apple cider, wheat, light citrus notes, and hints of spices.
