2.5Converting" from old excel scoresheet. So there is no comments on this beer.
2.033 cl beer .The worst beer quality/price -wise beer that ’ve tasted (except for that syrup bomb called Gordon Finest Scotch)
Pilsen Normalita.
3.1Beer with light color, average carbonized, soft bitter, not much foam, sold in 50cl can (in Hirschain).
2.1Pours clear golden with a white foamy head. Malty aroma. Taste is malty and grainy with a hint of herbal but slightly metallic bitterness. Very simple and basic bulk lager. (500ml can, labeled as The Legendary Duff Beer, 4,9 % abv)
1.933cl bottle, which I bought in Liège (Lüttich) in 2012 or so. I thought this was the Belgian Duff Beer variant, but found out that I had the German brew. Plain, almost tasteless lager beer. One to buy for the bottle label. I also drank it from a 33cl can.
1.9Since RB randomly deletes ratings I do random rants on those beers. I had this beer at least twice: 1) 330ml bottle from Sikupilli Prisma- which was boring as morning dump. Now the second one was @Taco Express in one of those early mornings when you are drunk enough that you just don’t care. Fell asleep while drinking this. I don’t blame alcohol I drank ’til that hour, I blame that beer for being so boring and bland that I couldn’t keep my eyes open. Never again!
1.8Can, 0.33l. Clear pale golden color with medium frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma is grainy, bready and grassy. Tastes light sweet and sour grainy and grassy with crisp and dry mouthfeel and light bitter finish. Light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Poor, boring and lifeless, Homer’s polar opposite :)
1.3From a 355ml can on 30/11/2014 (made in the USA and labelled ’Australian Edition’ but this is the only Duff entry that looks close to the mark). Pours a clear golden with a biggish white head that disappears quickly. Has a grainy, corny macro lager smell. Flavour is ordinary as suspected, a bit stale and metallic, with corn and some slight grassy character and the mildest hops. Thin body and average carbonation. Much as I admire Homer Simpson, his taste in beer is highly questionable. Typical macro lager.
2.2Bottle at work. Pours golden color, small white head. Aroma of honey and malt. Taste is medium sweet, hoppy, bit floral, some biscuits, malty.
2.10.33l bottle poured in a regular glass, in the train back home.
Well, I wasn’t expecting too much about this beer but curious enough to buy one bottle (By the way, at Drinks of the World, at Basel train station, one of the good beer places of Switzerland!). I do not like spending so much time on horrible beers but, it was an intense working day so... Let’s kill the time!
A: Clear gold color as a regular lager. Medium bubbled white head. Low retention. Few lacings
S: Sweet malts and cheap corn
T: Tastes like cheap corn. Metallic. It’s reasonably bitter, at least. Some malt taste is also present but, the corn.... kills all the expectations
M: Light body. Fake carbonation. Some bitterness and that’s all you can get from this
D: Low. More to a American adjunct lager than to a German Pilsener...
Pure opportunism. To be avoided, even by Homer fans! :p

2.1Not as bad as supposed to be. Malt and hops are noticeable in aroma and taste. Mild pleasant aftertaste.
1.033 cl Beziers.
2.4Bottled 04/08/14. A golden beer with a whitish head and lace. An over malty cereally lager. Grainy in the nose and a bit of biscuit in the mouth. Not full of flavour and what there is is nothing great.
2.2Blonde bien dorée. Pas de carbo pas de col.
Aromes mielleux.
1.9Very weird attempt at making a fictional beer come to life. A German company apparently conceived the idea to make Duff Beer from "The Simpsons" a tangible reality and this is the result: loose, snow white head, colour golden blonde, clear. Weak aroma of sweet pale malts, popcorn, mineral water, some grassy hops, some iron. Simple taste of pale malts with a rather disturbing corn-like sweetness, minerals, thin mouthfeel, finish very lightly hoppy but primarily watery. If the aim was to create an ironically stereotypical bland mass-marketed lager: mission accomplished. However: ask Moe if he has any craft beer, Homer, you’ll never know what hit you! But keep Barney away from it...
1.8Duff Beer for me. Bottle. Pours clear yellow. European pilsener aroma. Bland taste; nothing of importance to point out. Weak body, a little flat. Frankly I don?t know what Homer sees in this. I, for one, CAN get enough of that wonderful Duff.
2.1Bona cervesa, equilibrada i gustosa.
Buena cerveza, equilibrada y sabrosa.
2.0330 ml. Alcampo 05/2014.
2.1330ml can. Clear golden amber colour, foam white head and aroma of malt, grain, straw. Taste is similar, malt & grain with straw and metallic bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, metallic bitter finish. Bland lager.

Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a medium golden color with a billowy white head. The head had very good retention but faded over time to give a medium level of lacing. For the strength of the brew it was quite good.
Smell – The smell was heavy of corn with a lighter caramel aroma mixed in. There is an ever so light earthy aroma mixed in as well, but this is very light.
Taste – The taste matches the nose quite well. Corn and a bit of caramel malt meet the tongue. These flavors last throughout the taste, but are meet at the end by some light earthy flavors.
Mouthfeel- The body of the brew is light to medium in thickness with an average to slightly average level of carbonation.
Overall – Very standard adjunct lager. While it is quite average, the novelty factor makes it a must try for any past of present Simpsons fan.
2.3330ml Can from a Prague Mini-Market (59CZK):
Not all that enjoyable & purely a gimmick, not up to the standard of the much cheaper, & better Czech lagers that were for sale in the same shops as this one. The beer was thin & bland with nothing going for it really.
2.2This beer is only interesting because of the branding. The aroma and taste are not worth mentioning.
2.4Appearance: Clear golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Caramel malty and mild hoppy.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Caramel malty and moderate hoppy.
Overall impression: Plain boring, just as Simpsons..
Personal stats: Bottle from Meny Begby in Fredrikstad, Norway
2.0Bottle, purchased because I was a fan of the Simpsons and this beer is not available in North America. It wasn’t very good. So I am glad it is not available there.
