Dugges 1/2 Idjit!

Dugges 1/2 Idjit!

English Language Label: From the one and only Dugges Ale & Porterbryggeri in Gothenburg, Sweden, an original, robust "Imperial Porter" with notes of coffee and salty liqorice.

3.4 Butelka. Barwa ciemna, czarna, praktycznie nieprzejrzysta. Aromat mleczny, czekolada mleczna. W smaku podobnie. Przewaga mleka w postaci kawy i czekolady. Można doszukać się ciemnych słodów. Finisz lekko zalegający, kwaśny. Wysycenie niewysokie, odczuwalne. Goryczka znikoma. Jak na portera dosyć dziwna interpretacja. Przypomina bardziej milk stouta. Nie smakowało mi.
3.9 Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is toffee, chocolate, sugary, taste is sweet, roasted, chocolate, burnt toffee.
4.0 dark brown colour with ruby notes, 1.5 inches of beige, creamy head; aroma of coffee, liqueur notes, burnt sugar and hints of vanilla; taste is a bit less complex: coffee, burnt malt, maybe some minimal vanilla and toasted rye bread; good porter
3.8 Draft. Dark black with a quickly dissipating tan head. Aroma roasted malt. Flavor is black coffee and dark chocolate. The alcohol is subtly lingering on the back end.
3.7 Pours dark with tan head. Good roasty notes with hints of coffee, cocoa and toffee. A nice body and a semi sweet finish.
3.7 Bottle. Dark cola pilot with a big offwhite head. Caramel, coffee, condensed milk, toffee. Initially creamy but turns almost watery but with coffee. Medium body. Long bitter sweet finish.
3.1 Bottle. Pours clear black, minimal bubbly tan head, not much lacing. Aroma is boozy, coffee, anise. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter, heavy anise/licorice, a bit of cardboard, perhaps a liquor note. Medium body, nearly no carbonation, lingering bitterness. Unexciting.
Lun bitterhet. Medium konsistens.
3.5 500ml bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Roasted malty aroma, some cofee and chocolate, light grassy hoppy. Taste is sweet and bitter like aroma. Almost medium oily body with soft carbonation.
3.3 How: Bottle Apperance: Dark brown, off-white head. Aroma: Cofee, dark fruits, some chocolate, Palate: Medium body, dry finish.
3.9 33cl bottle. Pours dark brown, almost black with two fingers of fine textured beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, liquor, dried fruits. Taste is similar with a lot of chocolate, roastiness, bitter coffee, some malty sweetness (biscuits), light yeast. No alcoholic feeling, medium body, light carbonation. Very good.
3.7 Coffee, nuts, dried fruits and chocolate in the aroma. Dark brown with a tan head. Medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter. Medium body with a average carbonation. Overall a nice Porter, but i would like it to be a bit less carbonated.
3.7 15/VIII/14 - 33cl bottle from a trade @ home - BB: 11/II/16 (2014-913) Thanks to hackobock for the trade! Clear dark brown beer, small aery beige head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: lots of coffee, sweet dried fruits, some alcohol, caramel, overripe banana, some chocolate. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of coffee, bitter touch, little sweet, some dried fruits, mocha. Aftertaste: coffee, caramel, bit sugary,s oft bitterness. Weird gelatinous chunks in the end, coming from the bottom of the bottle. Reminds me of the weird stuff in some Dark Lords. Are they cheating with some additives here???
3.7 Looks.. Black, small tan head. Smells.. Coffee, some choc, vanilla hints, molasses. Tastes..coffee, roasty malts, puckery salty liquorish
4.0 10/16/2011. From bottle. Dark brown with a tan head. Licorice, coffee and roasted malt aromas. Robust and balanced with malty flavors and a bitter finish. Awesome.
3.0 Pours rather pale for an imperial porter, blackish brown with a finger of beige head. Roasted and burnt oatmeal on the nose with a wiff of coffee. Medium bodied palate, roasted notes and nuances of crisp bread. Dry and round mouthfeel but light and thin for the style.
3.7 @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear dark ruby brown with a 3" tan head and full sheet of lace that flows back into the drink. Taste is roasted malt that adds coffee and anise as it grows in the palate, moving to a bitter coffee finish. Strong and assertive, a solid imperial porter (whatever that is).
3.9 Bottle. Dark body with high creamy tan head. Aroma has hit me in the face from half a meter away. Aroma is roasty, coffee, caramel, vanilla, woody. Very nice. Taste has high roasty sweetness with coffee bitterness. Well balanced. Body is full, low carbonation, watery.
3.8 This brew is a dark brown-black with a medium thin tan head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and hops. Medium-bodied with a roasty character of malt and espresso, along with some dark chocolate and earthy hop notes. The finish is semi-sweet with a charred malt and coffee aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
3.8 Poured it from a bottle and the foam looked real nice and a great black look of the beer. I can smell some coffee, but not as much as I hoped. I think there is a distinct taste if the coffee, but I would have wanted more of the salt licorice taste.
3.9 Very dark brown appearance, sediment at the bottom of the glass., small but long-lasting head. I loved the aroma... like walking into a Starbucks. Malt, coffee, full-bodied.
4.0 Poured from a bottle. Dark brown color, very small off white head. Nice rich roasted malt smell. Sweet roasted malt and coffee flavor with a full body and a medium finish.
1.4 smells like soy sauce, tastes like garbage. i gotta stop buy import porters.
1.8 Good googleymoogley this was horrible. The smell was soy saucey and the flavor was salty and just yuck.
3.3 Brewed November 2011. Black with no head, almost no carbonation. Roast and some chocolate, up front coffee bitterness and sweet finish, some mold. RB loves it, BA doesn’t.
3.4 Rødbrun klar med høyt beige skum. Sjokolade, malt og brunt sukker. Søt sukker, litt kaffe bitterhet. Kaffe i ettersmak, lite bitterhet, litt søt, lite kullsyre.
3.6 Bottle. Poured black with a tan head that settled to a ring. Aroma of coffee, roast, and dark chocolate. The flavor found roast and coffee. Light to medium body with a roast and coffee aftertaste.
2.7 Poured from a 500ml bottle. This is a mineral rich beer, salty, metallic, chocolate, thick maltiness, oily, fishy. This is way to salty/mineral rich for my enjoyment. There is a slight tartness in the finish.
