4.0Bottle. It pours very dark brown with a creamy beige head. Sweet roasted aroma with notes of chocolate, light coffee and a whiff of smoke. The flavor is roasted with significantly more smoked notes. Bitter roasted with chocolate and light tar. Great stuff.
4.3Black with thin head. Aroma and flavour are intense with heavily roasted, slightly smokey dark malts. Bittersweet and with lots of chocolate notes. Rich and full flavoured.
4.033 cl. Bottle. A black beer with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of roated malt, coffee, spice, chocolate and a dry bitter finish.
4.0Bottle. Pours hazy dark copper brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of roast and coffee, with notes of fruit, malt and yeast and touches of cinnamon. Bitter, hoppy and roasty flavour wit notes of fruit and cinnamon and touches of coffee. Hints of spice. Roasty and estery aftertaste. Warming alcohol presence. Good.
3.7Bottle at home (bb 2017-05-12). Pours dark brown with a small fizzy beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, peat, ash, coffee, alcohol, light spices. Taste is moderate bitter and sweet, lots of warming alcohol in the aftertaste. Not bad.
3.7Bottle, 330 ml. Coffee, tar, tarmac, vanilla, coco, peat. Fantastically rich aromas - multilayered. Black colour, tan head. Full, rich taste - the smoky aspect is very pronounced but also bitter chocolate, almonds, espresso. A creamy finish - like a smoked cappuccino. Excellent.
3.4Pours a dark brown colour. Roasted coffee on the nose, hints of molasses and licorice. Taste similar with some spice. Good.
3.9Kólaszínű testén vékonyka habkalap pihen, mely alól pörkölt, ragacsos malátás aromák szállnak fel, megfestve kissé a levegőt sötétszín édességek vonalaival. Pirított napraforgómag, medvecukor, édesgyökér, hideg kávé gördülékeny jegyei huppannak a nyelvünkre, majd olvadnak bohókás egységbe, egyszerre érett és játékos, intenzív és meghitt karakterét adva a karácsonyi főzetnek.
3.7Pours ebony with a minimal beige head. Aroma is roasted malts and coffee. Taste gets the malts and the coffee, and quite strong booze as well. Notes of liquorice, spices and a lingering bitterness with a touch of sour. Medium bodied, slick, low carbonation. Tastes nice, but nothing memorable.
4.0Black, small beige head. Roasted, syrupy aroma. Flavour has roasted malt, syrup, licorice and light coffee notes. Straightforward, not very christmasy (thank you), solid with hints of warming alc in the finish. Quite nice.
4.0Bottle, 9.5%. Roasted, syrupy aroma, coffee, molasses and salt liquorice notes. Almost black colour, seems cloudy. Unstable light brown head. The flavour starts off syrupy and sweet. There is some sweet liquorice at first, later it tastes more like any liquorice. Sweet Gajol finish. Late coffee aftertaste.
4.1Juleølsmagning, aroma of figs and kaffe. Taste chocolate, coffee, burnt malts. Very good.
4.0Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is sweet roasted malt, plenty of coffee, mocha, dark chocolate and liquorice. Flavour is sweet with a nice moderate bitterness. Body is medium to full. Thankfully this does not have a load of spices, it’s simply a very nice and sweet Impie Stout.
4.2Black. Packed with black and roasted malts, Christmas Idjit is almost burned. Add notes of liquorice, coffee, soy and spice on top of that. The taste is full and sweet, and finishes dry with lots of malty bitterness and lingering spice. Full body, and a thick and chewy texture. Overall, a great imperial stout. The difference between this and Idjit is the spicyness. It is not really a holiday beer, per se, but who cares? It is very good.
4.033 cl bottle. BBE 12.05.2017.
Pours black color with a small off-white head. Licorice and dark malts on the nose, dark chocolate, mild spice notes. Licorice is dominating the flavor too, some coffee bitterness, dark malts, subtle vanilla, cocoa. Quite nice licorice IS, reminds me a bit of SIS.

3.7Bottle at DØE Xmas tasting, No5. Dark brown. Aroma medium+ malty (caramel, roasted, smoke, light spicy). Flavor medium sweet, light spicy and smoky, light bitter. Medium+ body, light carbonated.
3.9Bottle at Gollem, Antwerp. Thickly papery lacing, moussy, bubbly but stable, pale yellowish beige head, very dark burgundy brown, near to black but actually still largely translucent. Aroma of teriyaki, bitter chocolate, beef stock, hazelnut oil, bayleaf, brandy, caramel sauce, black olive, gravy, roasted pine nuts, suggestions of light Christmas pudding spicing. Full but ’clean’ sweetness in the onset, candied fig, dried banana and raisin balanced with a blackcurrant-like sourish undertone and quickly followed by a heavy, beef stock- and dried mushroom-like umami flavour - eventually turning soy sauce-like. Soft, thick but not overly creamy, oily mouthfeel, nutty- and bitter chocolate-like dark malt core, bittersweet with a coffeeish roasted finishing, accentuated by a spicy hop touch and warming, whisky-like alcohol. Very nice.
3.8Dark red with small white head. Nutty, earthy and tobacco. Sweet, slick and dry spicy finish. Great!
3.8Thank you Kraddel! 330 ml. bottle sampled. BBF 2017-05-12. Dark brown with a shade of amber, little head. Nose is cheap mocha chocolate, sugar, faint oxidation, basic malts. Bit watery, low metallic taste, vague oxidation, mocha chocolate, nuts, basic sugar. Body is mocha, coffee bit weak. Decent beer but the regular version is stupidly better, definitely expected more from this one.
3.8Pours dark brown to black. Small white head. Smell is sweet, dark sugar. Taste is sweet, dark sugar , very mild bitterness. There?s quite a lot of small, complex features here that contribute to a really Unique and complex kind of sweetness. Some vanilla. Very Nice, but the regular one is even better.
4.0Bottle, 330 ml from Beergium, Shared with JFK10000. Pours dark brown, small tan head. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, caramel, some fruit notes. Sweet. Medium to full bodied.
3.8Bottle. Dark brown body with a small offwhite head. Coffee, roasted malt, rye bread, spices. Good.
3.8Bottled. Pours deep brown with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, raisins and licorice notes. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. An excellent Impy. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
4.1Data: 2017.05.12
Wygląd:
Czarne nieprzejrzyste, piana jasna drobnopęcherzykowa tworzy obrączkę na tafli piwa
Aromat:
Super. Śliwka w czekoladzie, rodzynki, praliny, leciutka nuta kawy. Alkoholu dobrze ukryty, bardzo słodki owocowo-czekoladowy aromat.
Smak:
3.8butla, warka do 2017-05-12.
Smaki to kopia aromatow, slodkawo wyraznie, posmaki owocowo-alkoholowe.

3.8Bottle shared at a tasting. Reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and light smokiness. Flavors of chocolate, coffee, licorice, cocoa, bitter sweet aftertaste. Rather full bodied, oily with moderate carbonation. Very good.
3.7Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Opaque black with brownish head. Sweetish aroma, umami with notes of chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Sweet flavor with notes of chocolate, coffee, bitterish, umami, some smokiness, wood, some alcohol and ash. Full-bodied. Very good.
3.233 cl bottle from SB. 2014 version. Black with beige head. Mostly chocolate and roasty malts, coffee, licorice, a bit of raisin.
Pretty bitter and a bit salty. Medium body, not as oily as wanted.
A bit to much of a "burnt" feeling overall.
4.2deep dark brown colour, moderate sized creamy beige head; aroma of dark chocolate, mild roasted coffee, some herbal liqueur and smoked notes; taste of roasted bitterness, syrupy sweetness and smoked notes again; not bad at all!
