Dugges Holy Cow!

Dugges Holy Cow!

3.4 Bottle from Systembolaget. Amber with a frothy white head. Aroma is dominated by caramel some resin, citrus, strawberries. Taste is bitter with a soapy mouthfeel which increases (sadly).
3.0 Bottle from mane liquor. Deep orange pour with a small off white head. Aroma is quite grainy and some pine in there. Not that great. Taste is bland too. Caramel malt backing comes through nicely. Palate is quite thin. Not one of the better ipas I've had
3.6 Pours golden orange and clear, foam is one finger-thick and it vanishes quickly, Aroma is mostly pitchy and caramel. It also has little citrusy and pine needle notes. Taste is again very pitchy, it also has a lot of sprigs. A little caramel and citrus notes is also in the taste. Palate is medium and little carbonated. Hoppiness is also medium. All in all, quite nice and coniferous IPA, I like these dryer IPAs more than sweeter ones. Actually the caramel notes which don’t bring sweetness to the beer.
2.8 Bottle. Hazy amber with an off white head that settles to a good coat. Aroma of bitter oranges, mango, pepper, biscuit. Lowish carbonation, slightly mpty mouthfeel. Sweet biscuit and caramel, firm bitterness with citrus and some spices. A little soapy. Rather empty in the middle. Can’t see a date but suspect this is well past it.
3.3 You know, after trying a few beers, this whole rating thing gets a bit wanky. Anywho, easy to drink, little soapy, not bitter enough but overall pretty good, not greatness.
4.3 Bottle at the Courthouse. Great IPA. Aromas of caramel, citrus, and hints of grass. Taste is sweet and bitter, with long length. Palate is creamy, and medium bodied. Amber, with frothy head, and with particles.
3.0 Pours nicely, lots of lasting foam. Smell is pretty one-dimensional; citrusy with slight funk. Taste is citrusy and slightly austere- mineral/chalky/metallic. Not bad, not great
3.4 Ar: soft hoppiness, distinct maltiness, caramel, citrus, undefined notes of tropical fruit. Ap: amber colour, big off-White head, lots of lacing. T: grapefruity bite, but caramely malts dominate, killing the hops, resin, alcohol and malts completely dominate the flavour. P: soft bubbles. T: a disappointment.
3.3 Bottle. Pours a darkish golden amber with some hazing. Dense off white coloured head. Falls aways leaving all except a thin film. Aromas of biscuity malt, slightly sour citrus and some spice. Taste is not overly bitter but there is some resiny hops on the finish. Thin to medium mouthfell. Not too bad.
3.6 Pours dark copper. Aroma is citrusy sweet. Flavour is grassy, citrusy and caramel.
3.5 (Bottle). Both the smell and taste contains a lot of flavorings of tropical fruits, like mango and apricot. In the taste there is a good and prominent hops bitterness which in the finish is dry. A good beer!
3.6 Big frothy head strong carbonation rich amber pour aromas kumquart conserve orange grain wheat like citrus flavours citrus kumquart grain orange spicy note grapefruit some orange peel for the bitter very hoppy ale the finish enjoyable ale fruity hops grain elegant ale on the palate nice bitter finish okay very enjoyable
3.5 Smells wonderful, tastes good but still feels a bit dull in taste. The aftertaste disappears quickly. I find it hard to judge this beer. It is good, but the flavor will disappear all too quickly. An okay beer anyway.
3.7 Darkish amber pour, off white persistent 1cm head. Aroma - tropical fruits & floral, hoppy. Taste is sweet, dark caramel, nice bitterness but not as much as I’d expect, very very easy to drink despite the alcohol.
3.5 Pours dark amber with a fading head. Nose shows soft caramel and light honey along with some spicy hops. Flavours include a fair bit of sweet clean malt, some spicy hops and light grapefruit notes. Carbonation seems a little too high. Pretty tame for an IPA, I’d have classed it as a APA.
2.7 Bottle. Nice caramel sweetness and tropical fruitiness from the hops, but also strange notes of yeast and cooked vegtables.
2.8 Bottle. Hazy amber/brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma is sour. Flavour is bitter, grapefruit. Not as hoppy as some IPAs can be. Not a bad beer but has an unpleasant sour aftertaste.
3.7 330ml bottle. Large light tan head that is deep and settles slowly. Vibrant orange colour, looks good in the glass. Sweet floral hop aroma with a dry biscuity malt flavour.
3.3 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours vibrant orange with no head, leaving spotty lacing. Nose is very odd for an ipa. Kind of cool and different. Lots of dried fruits - apple, pear, apricot, a touch of biscuit and zest to finish it off. Taste is orange, biscuit and a little heavy on the booze. Palate is medium with spritzy carbonation. Not bad
3.7 Pours amber with medium off white head Aromas of citrus, resin, pine and caramel malts Nice sweet taste, medium bitter. Overall good in sll areas but doesnt peak anywhere. Solid IPA
3.6 Tydlig humlesmak. Önskar lite mer "frukt" för egen del. Skaplig beska och relativt lång eftersmak. Skaplig utan at ha det där lilla extra.
3.0 En India Pale Ale med fem olika humlesorter smak av grape och en fin beska på slutet.
3.3 Bottle thnx to LoFi! Cheers buddy! Pours a clear, light amber colour with a small, white head that settles fairly quick. Aroma has a very prominent sweet smell, with a hoppy background, full of tropical fruits like pineapple, abricots and peaches. Aroma could be more powerfull, but it is ok. Flavour returns a lot of the fruityness, making it easy to drink and masking the alcohol very well. Mouthfeel is ok, medium carbo and no alcohol burn. Nice surprise!!
3.8 From a 33 cl bottle. Copper clear beer with a small offwhite head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Hoppy, floral a bit sweetbitter flavour.
3.5 50cl bottle. Amber colour with a creamy and an off-white head, perfect lacing and decent lasting. Aroma is slightly hoppy, malty with hints of caramel. Flavour is mild bittery, slightly dense on palate, notes of peaches are present. The final is slightly bittery with a medium persistence. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium to high.
500ml bottle. ½ Pint glass. Enjoyed on jul´11. Deep orangish amber. Yellowish white, small bubbled froth. Fairly well retention. Strawberry aroma, mildy malt with coffee notes. Flavors include strawberries, butter & sweet bitterness. Medium body & average carbonation. Apricot on the aftertaste with coffee hues. A little fat drinkability.
