3.2 Draught at Cafe Rose Red, Bruges, West Flanders, Belgium. Gold with white head. This proved to be quite light on the palate, thinnish grainy notes then a slight citrusy, lime hopped balance. Hints of sweetness. Gets better through the beer.
3.3 Blonde dorée très claire, translucide. Mousse blanche assez courte, tenue moyenne, aspect assez humide, "gras".
3.1 Tap. Nuetnigenough, Brussels. Straw colour. Light haze. Thin white foam. Nose has sweet cereal grain. At a push, there’s some grassy hop. Taste is mostly sweet and grainy. Light body. Possibly a bit flabby. Sweet finish. Not the best pils.
2.6 F: thin, white, very quick gone. C: pale gold, bit hazy. A: malty, bready, grassy, floral. T: malty, bit spicy, not bad but still too sweet for the style, bit grassy, herbal, medium body, low carbonation, one of the best Pilsener here in BE what means average beer, 25cl bottle from Prik & Tik Leuven.
2.6 Tap at nuetingenough. Pours golden. Aroma is sweet, malt, grain, cardboard. Flavor is sweet and bitter, grains, cardboard, malt. Finish has some bitterness. Body is on the watery side. Overall: drinkable, i expected a lot more from dupont...
2.6 Gyllengul öl med ett gräddigt vitt skum. Ganska söt i både doft och smak. Antydan av honung. Lättare smörtoner i doften. I övrigt viss maltighet och fruktighet. Lätt gräsig beska.
3.5 I enjoyed this. Pleasant aromas of cereal and belgian yeast. Nice bright color. Needed more head. Well balanced flavor. Little too sweet for a pils however.
3.0 Redor Gezapft bei Nuetnigenough gelb, Fingerbreit Fester Schaum Aroma: Hopfen, etwas säuerliches.wenig Malz, Getreide Geschmack: interessanter Geschmack, nicht sofort zuordbar. Heu, wenig bitter.
3.2 Tap@Himmeriget, Copenhagen (11/11/2016) - golden pour with white head. Grassy hoppy and sweet bready malty, straw, hay, grassy floral hoppy bitter finish.
3.1 Keg. Hazy golden with a large white head with good retention. Minerals, dry grass, hay, light sulphur and citrus. Light bodied, mild sweet and bitter. A bit on the sweet side. Light honey in the finish.
2.9 Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus, 5%. Slightly hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is malt, grainy, hop, straw and grass. Flavour is malt, grainy, grass, medium sweet, straw, hop, little yeasr and medium bitter.
3.2 From tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours a clear golden yellow with a medium sized white head. Aroma has pilsner malts, belgian spicy and floral yeast notes, pretty hoppy as well. Taste is medium sweet, yeasty spicy, pretty fruity, light bitter finish. If i didn’t know any better i would have guessed this to be a blonde and not a pilsner. Can’t believe is this is actually bottom fermented. High carbonation and a light and smooth body.
2.9 Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Clear yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma is dry, malty and light hoppy - grass and herbal. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 141016
2.6 250ml bottle (Alus Celle, Riga) Very pale, brief head. Blandish sweet grainy aroma, fairly clean, a touch herbal and perfumey. Light palate, pleasant crisp carbonation. Sweetish pale malts in the taste, but extremely floral and perfumey. Has a nice little noble hop bite. An interesting pils, clearly neither german nor czech. Clean and pleasantish, but can’t get too excited by it.
2.5 250ml bottle (thanks FatPhil). Clear yellow color. Small size, bubbly white head, stays. Farty, grainy, sourish, some herbal in aroma. Sourish, sweet, herbal, damp grass and fizzy in taste. Medium carbonation. Sour malts in aftertaste. Watery mouthfeel. Average brew.
3.8 Sparkling with classic pils aroma of noble hops. More German than Czech with a big malty character followed by a mild bitter finish. Spicy at first almost peppery with a nice lace of oily hops on the tongue then comes the bran malts. Really nice. Known for their saisons but came through with a classy pils.
3.3 Draught at Himmeriget. Sligtly hazy, golden colour with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with grasses, pale malts, bread and floral notes. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and slightly bitter with a soft grassy bitterness and pale malts. Nice Pilsner.
3.3 Tap. Pours clear golden with white head. Aroma with light malt, straw and grass. Taste has light malt, biscuit and hops with grass and straw. Nice pilsner with a dry and pleasant finish.
3.4 Draft at Cafe La Forge, 100 meters down the street from Dupont: Pale golden with high clarity. Simple, but pleasant, aroma of flower petals, melon, lemon, uncured hay, grass and strikingly "farmy" pils malt. Firm and snug carbonation. Thin in body. Softly malty, initially, with grassy pils malt and pronounced hay textures. Timid hop spice sneaks in before being softened by oily flower petals. Refined, yet subdued to a fault, hop character. One-dimensional haylike maltiness continues unabated, revealing merely a hint of baguette flesh that flees quickly. Light mineral arises alongside faint lemony acids to contrast with the grain. Scantly bitter finish is adorned with slightly starchy hay and a kiss of sulfur. A pleasant albeit surprisingly stripped-down rendition that is begging for more hop expressiveness. The Dupont team has never been afraid of hops, but evidently they aren’t keen on making a hoppy pils, which is very unfortunate.
2.6 Beer tasting @ Fillepolo 20160527. Bottle (250 ml) from local beer shop in Brussels. Malty and grassy, medium sweet with straw, light to medium body with a watery texture. The finish is bitter and malty with straw.
2.5 Beer tasting @ fillepolo. Bottle from local beer shop in brussels. Pours a clear light golden colour beer with a medium head. Malty with notes of hay and some sweetness. Dry finish
2.6 Beer tasting @ fillepolo 27/5-16. Bottle from local beer shop, Brussels. Malty with hay and a crisp mouthfeeel. Dry and malty finish.
3.8 Flaska från Saveur Bieré. Smak och doft av humle, humle, örter, hö, citrus. Rund och len pils helt i min smak. Lagom sötma, rena fina smaker, god beska.
2.5 Draft at Rose Red. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of grain, light malt, cardboard and a little toffee. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.
3.9 Niet echt speciaal, wel meer een retro-biertje. De smaak is beter dan die van Jupiler.
3.2 250ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Mildly floral, grassy, hoppy aroma, a spicy touch of hay and straw. Taste is spicy pale malty and grassy hoppy, slightly floral, a spicy touch of hay, a lemon dash, subtle pale malty sweetness. Nice little Pilsener.
3.8 Poured up on tap at Nuet nigenough where it exhibits a clear gold body that supports a thin white head. The aroma offers up bready corn like notes along with light fruity esters and a light spicy hoppiness. The taste is crisp and easily quaffable. I get smooth sweet thin corn and bread notes that are quickly cut by the carbonation enhanced yeasty fruity esters and modest bitter hoppiness. Darn nice refreshing brew.
3.4 Pale golden to yellow colored, pretty clear, small+ white head, nice lacing. Aroma is malts, cereal and grains with some noble hops in the background. Taste is the same, low+ sweet malt and grains, doughy, medium noble grassy bitterness, dry finish. Light+ bodied and a lively carbonation. (on tap, Nüetnigenough, Brussels, B)
