3.0 Tap @ local restaurang in eben. Pours a hazy golden colour beer with a smal head. Yeasty and malty with notes of banana and mango. Dry finish.
2.5 Too much banana for my liking. It’s almost everything I taste, can imagine people like it
3.0 0,5 l Flasche. Oranges, trübes Bier, schöner, weißer Schaum. Riecht und schmeckt hefig, dazu leichte Zitrusnote.
3.2 A decent enough Weizen for Austrian standards. Slightly lighter and blander than the version that is naturtrüb.
3.6 Hazy yellow color, medium white head. Aroma banana, yeast. Strong banana taste, light citrus and spices, soft carbonation.
2.9 Dunkelbraune Farbe, gleichmäßig trüb. Relativ wenig, feinporiger, nicht sehr stabiler Schaum. Süßlich, fruchtige Malzaromen, Banane dominiert. Getreidig-süß im Geschmack. Spritzig, lebendig im Mund, etwas wässrig.
3.1 Decent Austrian Hefeweizen, among my favorites. Goes down extremely well after a day out in the mountains, hiking or skiing. Good.
2.7 Klassisches LightBananaWeizen ohne Glanz & Glory😉...beim Abendbrot vom Fass...KITZBÜHEL POWER :)...
3.6 Hazy, dark amber, perfect head and lacing. Cloves, banana, yeast appear in aroma and taste, full mouthfeel, very good.
3.2 Pours a murky, cloudy orange to brown color with a frothy off white head. Aroma is wheaty, dried banana, subtle fruit, yeast. Taste is wheaty, banana, malty, slightly spicy and smooth. Mouthfeel is on the light side though. Watery texture, soft carbonation, light body.
3.3 Lichtbruin bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is fris fruitig en licht zoet met iets van citrus, abrikoos en perzik. Erg goed wat mij betreft.
3.0 500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a white head. The aroma is yeasty with notes of banana and spices (cloves). Medium body (nice - nearly creamy) with soft carbonation. The taste is lightly sweet with a very light fruity acidity. The flavor is mild and lightly fruity (pear, apple, nectarine).
3.2 500ml Flasche. Trüb und bräunlich mit kleiner Schaumkrone. Hefiges Aroma. Durchschnittlicher Körper. Gut trinkbar.
3.1 0.5 l can. Had this one before joining RateBeer, therefore this entry is based on older noted numerical notes only.
3.0 Bottle at home. Aroma is wheat, fruity notes, banana, yeast, clove. Flavour is light sweet. Body is medium. Ordinary but pleasant Weizen.
2.6 0.5 l from tap. Typical aroma for weizen beer. Light yellow colour with little fogy appearence and rich white head. Taste is sour but I miss the stronger taste of wheat malts. Palate is watterly with medium carbonation and bitter-sweet finish.
3.8 Hazy golden and light copper body with a rich, three centimetre tall frothy off-white head - very nice looking, just like in Munchen! Aroma of bananas, yeast, cloves, coriander seed and the pungent yeast and wheat notes that make this very nice and refreshing. Medium-bodied; Plentiful yeast and wheat flavours with a very pungent banana and clove kick that shows very well and almost full-bodied; Aftertaste is complex with the yeast esters roaming free showing off a bunch of complexity, coupled with the wheat and light sugars. Overall, a very nice hef [but from Austria], which was much better than expected and on par with some of the best from Munchen, all from Austria, and for a ridiculously cheap price! I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from the centre of Wien, Austria at Spar [Gourmet] for €0,89 sampled in my apartment hotel here in the middle of Wien, Austria on 21-March-2016.
3.3 Bottled, Mariapfarr, Austria, Wheat, dough, spices and fruity aroma, Cloudy golden, huge lasting head, Sweeter taste, sour dry finish, Light body, Average carbon, Bit too weak but still decent wheat beer.
3.3 Vies geel bier met witte kraag. Zoet, weeïg, licht zuur. Banaan, citrus, tarwe, gist. Veel co2. Lekker fris.
2.8 0.5l bottle from an mpreis in innsbruck, 1.10€. pours a dirty orange with a medium white head and some lacing. aroma of banana, bubblegum, some coriander. fruity, sweetish and somewhat sour flavour; banana, yeast, bread, lemon. no bitterness.
3.3 Mooie oranje kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt zoetig kruiden, banaan, citrus. Smaaktzoetig, banaan, zacht, beetje fruitig.
4.1 Purchased bottle while in Österreich. Very good brew, my new favorite Weizen. Strong aromas of the special Hefe. Not sure I agree with some that taste banana or coriander but I suppose it could be.
3.3 Bottle. Hazy dark golden colour with a medium white head, nose is yeasty, fruity and a bit spicy with notes of banana, bubble gum and hints of cloves, taste is sweet and tart with a mildly tart finish.
3.3 Hefetrübes dunkles Bernstein mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Malzig, etwas Banane, süßlich, süffig.
3.5 A strong aroma of coriander, with hints of clove and a banana. Pours a hazy gold color with a lasting white well laced head. Taste of spice, mainly coriander. Medium body almost creamy feel with a mildly bitter spice finish.
5.0 An amber, foggy weizen beer with high, white creamy head. Aroma is fresh fruity, banana, yeasty, malty, light caramel? Taste is light bitter sweet.
3.8 Beer with really nice taste. Golden color, hazy, soft carbonation, long finish, (bought in 50cl bottle).
3.2 Pours a hazy darker amber color, topped with a medium sized white head. Typical banana aroma with some spices in the back. Taste is sweet and wheaty with some pleasant soury notes. Some spices in there too. Perfectly nice.
3.0 On tap. Retaining foamy white-hazy orange. A-some banana, wheat/grain. T-follows.
