4.028.10.2018-- 0.33l bottle from qoqa, bb 09.11.2019. pours a hazy amber with a medium head and a nice lacing. aroma of spruce, caramel, marmalade. flavour of spruce, juniper, slight citrus marmalade. sweetish but not too sweet. chewy mouthfeel, long bitter finish. nice.
3.4Aroma is sweaty hop some tasty lime and orange a bit dish water. Taste is rather fresh bitter hoppy with a little bite. Nice hoppy finish. Still a bit strange.
0.5Terrible!!!
3.5Bottle @ home
Hazy with suspensions copper, almost no head
Malts, caramel, tropical, exotic fruit
Watery hoppy herbaceous, bitter,
3.7Bottle 33 cl. Orange, hazy with a medium white head. Lots of hoppiness. Bitter with a good dry hop end.
3.6Draught @ The Thirsty Heart. Clear golden to orange colour, medium head with good durability, fair lacing, soft carbonation. Some fruity and malty notes in the nose, whereas the flavour is explicit bitter, pine, only light sweetness. Bone dry and plain west coast IPA. Good!
3.5Bottle. Orange color. Orange, white pepper, a hint of grass and marmelade in the aroma and flavor. Malty sweet. Nice.
3.433 cl, bottle conditioned, BB Nov 6th 2019. Amber, medium white head, low carbonation, loads of sediments. Aroma is American West Coast style even from a distance, but it seems a bit stale... Mouthfeel is semi-dry and bitter, 47 IBU is probably correct, low carbonation. Piny and citrusy it is, soft fruityness is harder to detect. Wished I had a fresher bottle, think I would love it.
3.223/VI/18 - 33cl bottle @ my godchild's birthday weekend, the Abeels' place - BB: 6/VII/19 (2018-788) Thanks to T. for sharing the bottle!
Pretty cloudy orange beer, small creamy white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of chlorine, bit fruity, caramel malts. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty fruity, some tropical fruits, bitter, bit watery, malty, soft bitterness, bit soapy. Aftertaste: soapy bitterness, little fruity, caramel malts, soma citrus, bit of grapefruit, not bad, but not a great ipa really.
3.433 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Jumbo Wageningen.
Hazy dark golden with a creamy white head. Malty aroma with orange and citrus hops and some pine. Bitter taste and a bitter finish. More than decent IPA.
3.7Tap at Artut, Östersund. A decent enough IPA; fruity and bitter. Little to comment
3.5Tap at catraio. Hazy dark gold. Thin white head. Taste is medium bitter. Medium body. Aroma and flavour is orange, hops, pineapple, citrus.
4.0Bottle from Carrefour, Barcelona, Spain. Hazy orange amber coloured with a massive white head of foam. It has an orange and pine flavour with citrus and peppery hops and more pine on the finish. Excellent!
3.8Flot og velsmagende øl. Masser af velsmag og humle. Tilpas bitterhed. Smagt på Odense PA festival
4.033cl from bottle bought at La Beata (Barcelona). Hoppy, dry finish, sweet and malty
2.6Deep golden colour, small head with short retention, tiny lace.
Fantastic aroma of citrics, pineapple, resins.
Medium body, thick palate, normal carbonation.
Taste of oranges, resins, pineapple.
Another Intrascendent IPA.
3.0Draft. Half hazy body, big white head. The aroma has hops and berries. The taste is hoppy as well. Balanced.
3.7330ml bottle. Hazy orange with a small white head. Fruity, piney aroma, lightly toasted grains. Taste of citrus fruit, orange, pine, light malts, bitter finish. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation.
3.4Bottle at home bought from honestbrew.co.uk. has a biscuity malt to it but lacks the flavour of hops and flavour from them
3.6Bpttle. Pours amber with some reddish hue, slight clouds and frothy white top that dissipates in short moment. Aroma has fruity-malty backbone with some grassy hops on top. Hops are somewhat gone though, mainly that hop marmalade feel to it. Taste has still lots of happiness, quite resiny - but not heavy nor sweet. Grassy, yes. Dry herbal grassy finish. Solid IPA, especially when to consider that my sample is not the freshest out there.
3.7Murky dark golden to amber. Small, lasting off-white head. Medium to heavily hoppy, strong grapefruit and zest aromas, some vegetable or spice. Dry, light hoppy, nice balance. Medium body, chewy, full taste, moderate carbonation, moderately lasting dry finish. Really well done.
3.2Copenhagen 19/11-2017. 33 cl bottle from Ørsted Vine. As Hoptimista American IPA. Quite strange drawing on the label with an Business Man with an Hop-flower head and a landscape with Hop-flower heads popping in. Pours hay amber wit a very big off-white head. Settles as 5 cm thick crown of foam. Aroma is intense. Exotic fruit and glue. citric notes. Low carbonation and slightly thick creamy palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and finish semi-dry. A bit too sloppy - and I am not crazy about the glue odor. But certainly decent.
3.2330 ml bottle. BB 13/Aug/18. At the Drink Bar, Tallinn, Estonia.
Clear amber golden color with a small light tan head.
Hops, bitterness and super strong caramel malt in the aroma.
The flavor is resiny and piney hops, moderate bitter and way too strong caramel maltiness. Too sweet.
2.9Øv. Smagte accidental jedy for et par måneder siden, og der var jeg helt oppe at ringe.
Denne her er meget maltet og sød. Den mangler friskhed.
4.022-SEP-2017, bottle @Madrid appartment, from local supermarket, with Morten. Slightly hazy, dark golden with a lasting, tan head that laces. Very malty and hoppy fruity. Grape fruit, pine, over ripe fruit, caramel. Dry-hopped clearly. Very bitter but also sweet. A bit rough but tasty. Not a West Coast style? Too malty for that.
3.6Bottle. Almost clear amber with on off-white head. Grapefruit, pine, resin, some malts, honey, herbs. Nice. Medium sweetness, lightly salty, medium bitterness. Medium, oily body with pearly carbonation. Well balanced, juicy, not overdone like some other West Coast IPAs.
3.8On tap at Cocovail Beer Hall, Barcelona on 26-Aug-2017. Clear golden colour with a medium sized white head which settles down, leaving decent lacing down the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit, malt and pine. Medium body and carbonation. Taste of grapefruit, orange zest, peach, melon and floral hops. Medium bitterness. Pretty decent IPA.
3.6Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Earth and grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine lingers.
