3.1 330ml can. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, deep golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, fruity aroma, notes of red and blue berries, notes of raspberry, lingonberry, blueberry and the like. Taste is sweet and bitter fruity, somehow minimally smoky, leafy, diluted hints of red and blue berries; minimally soapy overtones. Oily texture, slightly prickly carbonation.
3.0 Some berry and fresh Icelandic water aroma - at least until some river water spilled over into it. Light sweet and tangy end. Can.
3.0 Erdei gyümölcsös de mivel izlandon nincs sok erdő, ezért inkább sarki gyümölcsösnek mondanám.
2.9 Canned from Cost Plus. Creamy berry flavors up front. Tastes like some sort of berry wheat ale. Drinkable, but fairly boring for the style. A little thick and creamy to be super refreshing on a summer day.
3.1 etwas fahl, fruchtiger nachgang
2.5 Lata. Bit unclear thin golden colour, small white head. Billberry juice aroma. Ok palate. Bilberry flavour, thin, grainy with parfume. Sharp and bitter.
2.5 Light summer ale made with Icelandic bill berries, or possibly billberry flavoring. Similar to raspberry or blackberry. Well balanced between sweet berry and a pilsener like dryness. A little bland.
2.6 330mL can, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle berry notes upfront, with little else. Flavour is very simple, with the bilberrries dominating - little else to speak of. Lacking depth, but the berry character is fair. Alright.
3.6 Pale gold pour, thick white head. Nose smells heavily of berries. Middle puts the berries up front, light kilned malt, touch of wheat. Finish is fruity and semi sweet. Interesting brew.
3.3 Very foamy. Pale blond, slightly cloudy. Fresh taste, dry, bitter, wild. Not really fruity, nor sweet. Aroma of fresh dough. Slight discrete aftertaste of berry. Not to be called a "fruit beer"; just of slight aftertaste of wil berry,
3.5 Can from Vinbudin, Hevragerdi. Appearance - cloudy orange with a generous fluffy head. Expected some colour from the berries! Nose - tart berry note. Taste - creamy blueberry jam. Distinctively blueberry. Palate - sweet and creamy. Decent balance on the finish. Overall - good.
3.4 Can shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours hazy golden with a thick white head. Aromas of fruity berries, quite tart. Taste has a light sharpness, but creamy with it. Jammy fruit at the end.
3.5 Plechovka od Dejana. Dakujem. Prijemna ovocna vona. Zlatista farba. Taktiez ovocna chut.
3.7 Plechovka z letiska. Svieza lesnoovocna vona aj chut. Pena husta. Zlatista farba. Chut dlho trva na konci ostava.
3.5 11.2 ounce can from Woodman's Oak Creek. Hazy yellow, large frothy white head, good retention. Aroma of berry, yogurt, wheat. Taste is berry yogurt, straight up, and some wheat in the finish. Medium bodied. Odd.
3.5 Light body, malt, crisp, toasted, unique berry character, fairly low hop. Easy drink, light on the tongue, short finish.
3.3 Can kindly flown in by DejanSt. Clear golden colour with small white head, aroma of, yes, bilberries. Taste is malty, fruity (bilberries for some reason), light body, short finish. Good summer beer.
3.4 33cl Can @ Saveur-Biere, Lille, France. Hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is berries, malt. Taste is berries, malt, sweet, slightly sour. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.5 Can kindly delivered by dejan from Iceland, thanks pal! Nordic summer ale! No citruses but berries instead, no fancy whateverstyleIPA but solid witbier. Bit heavy and short lasting, but I guess that's how summer looks like up there. Cheers.
3.0 Clear straw yellow pour with a white soapy head. Aroma of berry with a blueberry flavor with some grain. Sweet summer beer.
3.5 Picked up a 6 pack at Wegman's. Looked cool, sounded interesting. "brewed with berries picked near arctic circle" Sold. Poured from 12 oz can into a pint glass. Huge white head takes a good while to dissipate. Good amount of lacing left on glass. Beer is and hazy golden color. Looks like a wit bier. Smells sorta different. Has a bit of sour tart in aroma. Definitely berry fruit. Taste is smooth and refreshing with a soft texture. Taste is light to medium sweet. Light notes of berry. No significant tartness or sourness in taste. A light bodied beer with heavy yet soft carbonation. Pretty light and easy drinking but a bit different. It is not necessarily amazing but a well balanced and good flavored beer if your looking to try something different.
3.0 Can @ Malt & Mold. Pours hazy bright yellow with small foamy white head, berry aroma, high carbonation, sweetish malt/berries taste, thin body, abrupt finish. Gimmicky, but not very special.
2.9 330ml at Löwen, Tisis. Aroma is light melon, apple, dextrose. Appearance is clear golden with a white foam. Taste is light sweet. Flat and watery. Light body. Ok.
3.4 b>Can: 330 ml, Price: 0,99 eur Neblogas, bet tikrai ne pats geriausias
3.0 330 ml can. hazy yellow strawberry color with minimal white head. smells nice raspberry blueberry and cherry. taste are the dominant wild fruits. sweet raspberry and sour cherry with minimal notes of beer. good refreshing fruit beer. not just lemonade. short aftertaste some sweet darkberry with a bit sour cherry.
3.4 Can from Drinks of the World. Pours hazy pale yellow with a pillowy head. Aroma is soft bilberry, some wit and yogurt. Body is medium, silken, more bilberry, fruity and sweet, more yogurt. Sweet creamy palate. Good, but a bit same-same.
3.2 Can. Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is sweet blueberries, pale malts, wheat, cereal. Taste is blueberries and cereal, some wheat dough, a touch hops as well. Very creamy mouthfeel with soft medium carbonation. Quite drinkable, but does not work out completely, despite its simplicity.
3.9 love the smoothness and drinkability. more into this kind of craft beer lately.
3.3 33cl can. Apperance: A Light straw color with a decent white head. Aroma: Pale matls, wheat and some berries. Taste: Moderate sweet, light bitter, a faint hint of tartness and a hint of salt in the finish. But nowhere going near to a real gose. Still it's tasty and refreshing starts up with light malts, wheat, and a hint of yeast and finishes with berries ana hint of salt. Afteratate is berries. Quite refreshing,Thin to medium body, average to lively carbonation.
2.8 Can. the problem with most fruit based beers is they are either way too sweet or not sweet enough. This one is the latter. The truly good ones strike a brilliant balance between the two which this failed to do. The beer aroma is excellent but the berry flavor is weak and too subtle. Thick fluffy head lasted forever and left some gloppy lacing. Cloudy yellow pour. Kind of flat. It tasted nowhere near as good as it smelled. Not horrible, though.
