Einstök Icelandic Arctic Pale Ale

Einstök Icelandic Arctic Pale Ale

American and Bavarian craft come together with the finest Icelandic water to create the Viking version of the Pale Ale, where robust hoppiness meets smooth malty undertones. Cascade hops give it the American character, while Northern Brewer hops add just enough bitterness to make this Ale refreshingly Icelandic.

3.3 Can. Poured clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate sweet flavor with a moderate sweet finish of short to medium duration. This is a soft beer.
3.3 12oz can. Poured a clear dark orange color, no haze at all. Fluffy white head, quickly dissipated. Aroma was pleasant light malt body, with pleasant floral hops. A touch of earthy, overall a nice, pleasant pale.
2.8 Ljust bärnstensfärgad vätska med två fingrar högt skum. Bröd och citrusfrukter i aromen. Maltig, lite kakig, i smaken med en lätt beska. Lite syrlig i avslutningen.
3.3 Selline mõnus lihtsasti joodav õlu, milles on samas ka pale ale'ile omast humalasust ja puuviljasust. Jürgeni tänase õhtu lemmik siiani.
2.9 Can. Amber body. Large, frothy off-white head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of toasted grain, apricot, light toffee. Sweet start, moderate bitterness in the finish. Medium body, sticky texture, lively carbonation. Looks good. Overly malty for a pale ale, though the bitterness is nice.
3.9 Malty on the nose, sweet caramel, bready, and the counterpart of hops, both European and American, for a floral, citrusy, fruity aroma. A nice pour, amber, hazy but translucent, a very firm finger of ivory-white head, very high retention and creamy lacing. Medium bitterness, with sweet caramel malts, marmalade hop notes, citrusy and fruity. Very good balanced, but tending to hoppy, bitter finish. Creamy, medium body, well carbonated, very easy to drink. Solid old world Pale Ale, from the North of Iceland, arguably the "Northest" beer in the world.
2.4 Fairly dry and a bit harsh. There is something a little boozy in here too, and a noticeable amber flavor. The abv is surprisingly low. Medium brown pour, foamy head. The aroma is nice and sweet. I can't say I like this very much
2.6 Bottle @ Present. Pours amber copper with a small head. Toasted malts. Bread and pine. Quite dry and quite dusty. BB in 6 month. Dull.
3.3 Can - clear golden amber with frothy head - good lacing. Flowery aroma. Good mouthfeel. Very pleasant tasting - strong aftertaste. Pleasant drinking.
2.9 On tap in Reykjavik, Iceland. Hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Little aroma. Mild taste, malt, maybe a distant roast, very gentle bitterness.
3.4 Can 330ml; Look: well carbonated, very-slightly hazy amber, with an off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma: pale malt, citrus Body: medium end of thin Taste: pale malt, citrus, nice bitterness Overall: solid. I'd be interested to try some more from the arctic circle
3.0 Can from Waitrose. Full bodied , bitter pale ale. Marmalade hoppiness and a floral quality make this a fairly mellow and pleasant drink. Some toffee sweetness in there too. I'm glad I tried it as had not seen on sale before.
3.3 11.2 oz. can poured to fest stemware at home displaying a fairly clear, amber hue, a very fluffy layer of off white/cream colored froth that showed sudsy persistence, with foamy ribbons & spots of lacing. The nose was candied/ripe pit fruit, fig, slight floral, subdued malt, and fleeting off hints that were soapy & metallic. Close to medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the texture thinned a bit, the taste was somewhat similar, as it immediately moved toward a lingering grainy, fruity, and earthy bitterness. A wide window of freshness was printed on the can bottom, although it didn't seem so.
3.1 Pours clear amber with a white head. Aroma of caramel malt and some mild hops. The flavor is mild to moderately bitter with some caramel malt sweetness. It's alright.
2.7 Bottle 33 cl, poured into a tulip glass. Pours a semi-hazy golden with a medium white had and an aroma of malts, bitter hops, aluminium and grapes.
3.6 Finally entering old ratings from notes. Shared by Jake at Civil Life, it poured opaque dark brown colour with thin beige foam. A nice, true-to-style porter underneath--malty, toasty, nutty, roasty, cherry and plum, chocolate, mild coffee--but oddly salty. It worked, but was unexpected. Glad for the chance to try it, enjoyed it.
3.2 330ml can - Pours a clear amber colour with a small lasting foamy near white head. The aroma is malty, toasted and bready malts with spicy hop notes. A moderately sweet malty taste, caramel and bready malt flavours with a moderate fruity and spicy hop bitterness.
3.2 33cl Bottle @ Drinks of The World, Geneva, Switzerland. Amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma is malt, hops, citrus, herbs. Taste follows the aroma. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.6 God og velsmagende øl. Tilpas med bitterhed. God aroma. Savner lidt fylde. Kedeligt udseende
3.1 Bottle from Cafe Bla online Shop. Golden Amber, moderate head. Caramel nose with some citrus. Flavor has lots of cara and that unmistakable Cascade bitterness that isn't my favorite. A decent, drinkable beer that doesn't blow me away.
2.5 330ml can from Waitrose, bb 26/10/2021 Amber, clear, white head. Nose - weak malt, nothing else. Poor. Taste - bitter, some malt. Meh.
4.1 I got sick of Sierra Nevada and found this Arctic Pale ale. Now it's my go-to brew at the end of the day. Really enjoy it.
3.5 12 ounce can. Pours a mostly clear gold with a decent white head. Aroma of citrus and floral. Taste is citrus, floral, grass, and malt. Nice.
3.7 Solid and enjoyable pale ale. Quaffable.
3.1 Puszka. Dość ciemny, bursztynowy kolor. Piana biała, mała, opadła szybko. Dominują nuty słodowe, lekkie owoce pestkowe, żywica, trochę marmolady i ice tea. Oleiste o raczej małym wysyceniu. Goryczka umiarkowana. Nie jest to złe piwo... Nie ma niestety niczego, co odróżniałoby je od innych ma rynku..
3.3 Pours clear light copper with a thick and frothy parchment head. Aroma offers crisp fresh malt and woody hops. Flavor presents more rounded and slightly toasty malt plus woody, bitter hops and a fruity undertone - citrus, tropical, a hint of apple. Texture provides firm, smooth body and perky fizz. Let's go arctic!
3.6 Pours amber, nice head. Good resiny aromas, malty and mild citrus. Flavour is bittersweet, malty and toffee, nice bitter finish. Very nice.
3.1 Bottled 330ml. -Orange/golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, big bubbles of carbonation, mild herbal fruity nose. Toasted malt, caramel, light fruity and herbal with quite strong bitter finish.
3.0 Pours a honey amber in color. Thin fizzy head. Floral hoppy flavor profile with a hint of trailing citrus. Toasty malt aroma that's barely detectable. Overall, not a bad brew. I'd buy again.
2.5 Marmlade orange bit weak. Picked up from waitrose. Was excited as never had icelandic brew before but ultimately dissapointed
