3.6 0,33l bottle from Die Bierothek store in Essen, drinking 4/10/2021 BB 02/11/2023 Pours a really dark, would say black body with good amount of creamy, frothy brown foam on top and great lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolte and coffee, some smoke, raisins and nuts. Taste is, for such a powerful aroma surprisingly sweet with roasted malt, coffee, good sweet chocolate, raisins and licorice, good if not too strong bitter and a decently dry, lightly hoppy finish with notes of coffee and milk chocolate. Medium body with smooth oily texture and average carbonation. Really tasty, easy and enjoyable, really good porter.

4.2 Dark, roasty, toasty and chocolatey on the nose. Powerful. Very dark brown pour, close to black. Firm beige head, high retention, beautiful laces on the glass. Bitter, lot of toasted bread and roasted cacao beans, dark malts, coffee notes. Heavenly for who likes dark malty drinks! Medium body, medium carbonation, very smooth and easy to drink. A very solid classic style drop, tasty, rich, rustic, robust, Viking. I remember I had this years back and it was very herbal not very enjoyable, now the recipe (or my palate) must have changed and it's a bomb!
3.4 Black with a thin beige head. Aroma is roasted malts. Taste is malt, roast, licorice with a gentle bitterness.
3.5 Pours a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malts and a hint of molasses. Medium body. Smooth roasted taste with some notes of dark chocolate. Finishes with a lightly dry aftertaste. Not too dry. Flavors are not bold but still fairly enjoyable. Light lingering roasty taste. Better than some other Baltic Porters I have had.
3.1 Family Mart summer beer campaign - small can. Aroma: yeasty coffee. Appearance: clear americano, one finger tan head. Palate: medium-bodied and oily, average carbonation, malty at the finish. Taste: medium bitter with sweet notes. Malt loaf, coffee. Drinkable [and I can personally recommend Akureyri as a weird but interesting place to visit - in summer of course...]

3.9 Poured from 12 oz. can. Translucent, dark cola brown with a 3-finger khaki head and good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, espresso, baker's chocolate, toffee, raisins and dark roast coffee. Taste of roasted malt, toffee, dark fruit, roast coffee and cocoa with a sweet caramel finish. Medium/full body and medium carbonation. An interesting combination of roastiness, bitterness and sweetness. Right tasty, too.
