3.9 Bottle at Messapia, Lecce, 3rd April 18. Pours dark amber. Aroma is hoppy, biitter and fruity, taste is bitter, some caramel, lots going on, bitter sweet linger. Good.
2.8 Decisamente scarica a 4 mesi.
3.5 The smell of grapefruit and malt. The small dark white creamy head has a short duration, the body is dark orange. A quite bitter taste, soft fruity touch of grapefruit. The body is medium strong, very creamy with a normal carbonation.
2.6 Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a lacing, off-white head. Sweet, caramellish aroma, but very little in the way of hop aroma. Medium body, caramel again, a spicy hoppiness leading up to a rather bitter finish. An IPA without much finesse or aroma, but it's a smooth drinker if you don't mind an in-your-face late hop smack. 130917
3.8 On tap @ Abbey Theater, Roma. Dorada miel. Bastante equilibrada. Amargor moderado, paso fácil. Buena IPA.
3.6 Bottle at Sogno, Helsinki. Pours hazy amber with a medium-sized white head. The aroma features citrus fruitiness and piney hoppiness; also toasty, bisquity maltiness. Taste is light to medium sweet, later also bitter. Flavours of pine, caramel and nuts. The palate is medium to full bodied, smooth.
3.4 33cl bottle @Kraken, Oviedo. 07-05-2017. "X Cata Ratebeer Asturias warm up". BBD: 20-09-2019. Batch: 11-05-2016. Amber IPA, fruity and caramel notes, both in nose and palate. Medium body, average carbonation, little crispy texture. A bit stale.
3.4 330 ml bottle. Pours a lightly hazy copper with an off-white head. The aroma is hoppy - citric fruits (oranges). Medium body with a low carbonation, a light sweetness and a light bitterness. The flavor is more on the malty side - bread and caramel - and lightly hoppy (grapefruit).
3.6 0.11 draft @ Elav, Bergamo Airport Clear amber color and a small, white head. Aroma is very sweet and citric with some floral additions. Taste is the reverse, a thoroughly floral experience with citric adjuncts. Medium, velvet, almost flat. Finish introduces some malts and biscuits. Overall a very smooth, pleasant, and drinkable brew.
2.7 Very standard robe. A little bit shy on the nose. Nice attack full of bitterness. Misses some fruitiness and doesn’t have any noticeable particularity. A bit shy on the palate. Strong bitter aftertase. Very correct but not particularly interesting.
3.8 0,33l Flasche. Dunkel oranges Bier, heller Schaum. Fruchtiger Duft. Sehr viel Mandarine. Kräuterbitter im Antrunk. Nandarine und Kumquat. Lecker und frisch.
3.1 33 cl. bottle (bought from Bergamo Airport). Cloudy, almost murky dark amber/copper colour with minimal off-white head. Good lacing. Aroma is fruity (grapefruit, citrus, mango) and floral: it’s pleasant. Taste is bittersweet: classic IPA on the somewhat lighter side or maybe more like American Pale Ale. Medium-bodied and oily-textured with average carbonation. Finish is quite bitter and sometimes a bit medicinal. Decent but I don’t think I will search for it.
3.3 Bottle. Dark amber, low head. Aroma. Citrus and caramel. Taste. Caramel, malty, Herbal bitterness. It is rather amber ale than IPA, but it’s ok.
3.4 W aromacie cytrusy i sporo karmelu, slodowosci, mniej intensywny niz w Indie Ale. Barwa bursztynowa, piana trwala, ladna.
3.0 33cl Bottle @ Cervezas Especiales Hop Scotch, Malaga, Spain. Hazy amber colour with a big frothy beige head. Aroma is hops, caramel, citrus, malt, pine. Taste is hops, pine, caramel, tropical fruits. Medium body, medium carbonation. A plain IPA.
3.0 Tasted on 19.11.16. Not very intensive aroma, a bit of grain maltiness, fruits and hops. Small head disappearing to thin layer. Cloudy dark amber colour. Medium bitterness with quite intensive toasted maltiness. Quite good amber ale.
3.0 Bottle Aroma-fruits, caramel, alcohol Appearance-amber, hazy, white foam, Taste-medium bitterness, medium sweetness, lightly sour, Palate-medium body, sticky, average carbonation, long finish, Overall- not bad
2.2 Bottle, best before 09/2019 (???), gift from daniele. Pours deep orange/copper with a medium off-white head. Aroma of licorice, honey, medicine, oxidation, no trace of hops. Flavour is malty, sweet, honey, oxidated. Medium body, medium carbonation. Wtf?
2.1 Bottle courtesy of daniele, shared with Mortlach. Grazie Dan. Dark copper hazy pour, little off white head with some drafts and minimal retention. Nose: ripped orange pulp, a bit medicine syrup, meh. Mouth: unpleasant raw feel of medicine, really bad.
Lecker!!! 0,1/1€ vom Hahn beim WINTER BEER DAY 2016 in HH.
3.1 Orange, beige head, aroma of orange, mandarina, marmalade, bitter flavor, orange, mandarina, marmalade, medium bodied.
3.5 33cl bb10/2016, tante grazie a idiosyncrasia. Unctuous beige orange pour. Aroma of sugary orange blossom, cake and crystal malts probably due to age. Taste is mainly older orange jam, herbal melissa and blossom syrup with a piney lid on it, - but I do love the heavier, UK-jammy mouthfeel.
3.6 33cl bottle at De Cervesia, Lucca on 24-Aug-2016. Hazy reddish amber with an off-white head. Aroma of pine, caramel malt and citrus. Medium body and carbonation. Lots of floral hops, caramel, grapefruit and tropical notes. Medium bitter and hopped. A nice IPA - reminded me a lot of Brewfist Burocracy.
