3.5 Gold color, taste good, not bitter, sweet taste on this beer, grapefruit juice. Taste light and bright. NT130 it’s worth.
3.8 12 oz. bottle. Nice copper hue, with a big, foamy, beige head. The nose is honeydew, cloves, pine sap, light caramel, and vanilla. Sweet up front, with a very mild and smooth bitterness coming forward, and leaving a mellow, surprisingly pleasant aftertaste. Light to medium body, crisp, and a little thin. What a wonderfully smooth and balanced, mellow, pale ale!
3.5 Nice medium consistency throughout. Good smell, cloudy color with little head. Good taste, houses the higher abv.
3.2 12 oz. bottle. Pours a thin, poorly retained off white head, over a hazy and particle laden amber (SRM 10) body.....nose is light cereal malts, light honey sweetness, light tropical fruit tones, hints of pine......taste is mildly sweet, with light fruit notes (peach, mango), finishing with light hops bitterness......mouth feel, medium body, no alcohol, light carbonation. This is a quite light take on an APA. The hops are mild in both aroma and flavor, and the hop backbone could use a rework. This is typical of the experiments run by the craft industry, sometimes the results are great, sometimes not. This falls into the latter category. BJCP 6/2/12/4/6
3.1 Dark golden pour, creamy white head, active carbonation. Subdued aroma of bread and malty. Flavor is decent but again fairly mild that follows aroma with an ever so slight bitter finish. Drinkable but don’t think I’d spend $ on it again.
3.1 Bottle. Pours orange gold white head - nose/taste of pine, grass, caramel malt and toasty bread - medium body.
2.9 Subtle aroma of caramel, and malt. Pours a caramel color with a lasting off white well laced head. Medium body slightly oily feel with a sweet caramel malt taste. A lasting bitter finish.
3.4 Bottle 35,5cl / Botella 35,5cl. @ R & J Liquors, Granby, CO, USA A: Hazy golden / Dorado turbio. T/S: Malt, fruity, slightly bitter / Malta, afrutado, ligeramente amargo.
2.8 Guys, come on here, this is sort of a mess. This pale ale got away from you guys and ended up a muddled mess. It seems like it was haphazardly put together. Not really happy with it. 22oz bottle.
3.0 copper pour with medium white head. Caramel and biscuits, crystalline malts. Some spruce and butterscotch. Orange peel, bready and boozy.
3.3 Tap @ Twisted Timber: Cleaer gold with a small off white head. Hoppy in aroma and taste. I also noticed a bit of musty flavored malts. Not bad.
3.5 355 ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden yellow colour with an medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, carmel, bread, some hops. Taste is same + pine. Pretty good APA.
3.4 Bottle into pint glass, hazy golden-amber color with off-white head. Aroma notes of caramel malt sweetness, tad earthy, bread and citrus/tropical hops. Taste adds more caramel malt sweetness, light cereal, citrus zest and pine/grassy hop bitterness. Light-medium body, low carbonation, soft, dry with light citrus finish. APA flavor with a more English pale ale style, pretty easy drinking for a 7% beer.
3.1 Sampled at AOT Wilmington. Cloudy light yellow pour, two. Finger head. Dry aroma of earthy hop, malts, citrus, wheat and metal. Light body. Not very hoppy I didn’t think. Different interpretation on APA style.
3.4 Good mouthfeel for an American. Decent pour w/ lacing. Pretty smooth & goes down easy! Pretty solid!
3.3 Pale ale. ホッピーで、アルコールくさくて、あまい
3.5 12 oz bottle from Rockhead. Pours a murky copper colour with smallish off-white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, caramel, bread and citrus. Flavour is also fairly fruity with solid caramel and bready malt notes and a light citric hoppiness. Mellow carbonation. Solid.
3.4 12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured clear, orange, small white head, minimal spotty lacing. Aroma of oranges, and other citrus fruit, some malts and some bready notes. Taste is malty, fruity, slightly bitter. Enjoyable and very drinkable. Not bad at all.
3.1 Sweet taste on this beer. Pour is a light white head over a light brown sugar colored brew.
3.9 This a nice delicious beer. With a little bit of a malt aftertaste it tastes refreshing. It doesn't taste like 7%.
3.5 Bottle 12fl.oz. [ As Elysian Loser Pale Ale ]. Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, grapefruit, sweet fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, hoppy, caramel, tropical fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140813]
3.3 Draught at Smith. Quite bready, sweet herbal hops and orange with a decent malty backbone. Simple and quaffable even though nothing exciting.
3.1 Bottle from Plaid Pantry. Some bright amber in color. Nose is quite malty with some sweetness and little hops. Quite bready with only light hoppiness. A little bit of a fruity hoppiness in the finish, but mostly sweet malts.
3.6 A pretty standard pale. It’s good, it’s hoppy, it’s slightly sweet from the malt, it finishes bitter, it is a tasty beer that is completely forgettable.
3.4 Very nice pale ale with a surprisingly strong ABV. Malty, lots of cereal character. Smooth throughout and a dry finish.
3.1 Liked the branding better than the beer. Good Pale Ale but nothing to write home about stacked up against the big boys. Would drink it again but not seek it out.
2.8 Drank from a bottle, purchased at Wegmans. Flowery aromas from the hops. Tastes a good pale ale, with just a bit of hop power, but not overpowering. A good brew.
3.2 12 oz bottle poured. Had this one a few times before, but out of all of the easy to find mass produced beers from these guys, I would say this is the one I’ve had the least. Pours a lighter orange color with a fading fizz head. Subtle hops and orange fruit aroma. Flavor is pretty standard the style. Nothing too out of the ordinary. Decent hop flavor all around with a mild bitter finish. I actually spilled about half of this on accident, so the name is quite fitting for the guy drinking it. Overall not bad.
3.0 Very average, down side very cloudy and way over carbonated. May be of bottle forgot to check if there is a date on it. Standard bitter hop aroma standard bitter hop flavor. Older sense f hops, not super fresh. Oh well
3.4 Pours hazy copper colour, minimal white head. Nice malty aroma, brown sugar and some citrus in the background. Bitter taste but not overwhelmingly so, very smooth. Mouthfeel is soft, not a whole lot of carbonation so it’s very easy to drink. Enjoyble beer overall.
