4.0 Hazy orange gold color with a quickly dissipating off-white head. Citrus aroma with a biscuit undertone. Slightly sour on the finish.
3.3 Pours hazy orange with tons of suspended yeast flakes. It has a citrusy aroma. The oranges come through well in the flavor along with bready malt. Medium bodied. Okay overall.
2.7 Purchase that pint from my local liquor store. Thick white head on top of an opaque pale orange body. This beer smells overtly of hops, Woodland and pine hops to be exact. It's an okay beer, average, but it does suffer from an IPA level aftertaste. Hardly any orange flavor comes through. Not a bad beer, just also not a beer I could eagerly recommend.
2.3 Odessa brewfest. Honey brown pour. Smallish head. Funky cardboard aroma. Tart flavor. Not much to this. Not wonderful.
3.4 12 ounce can at the house. Smell the orange and slightly hopped. Creamy orange in color with big fuzzy white head. Taste oranges and citrus, being the hops. Lively beer with some aftertastes of hops. Decent beer for the style. Cheers!
3.4 Have you ever smelled a blood orange? Smells just like this! Malts are hidden behind the orange. Okay retention and okay lacing. Has some sediment. Taste is blood orange. Touch of orange peel. Might be some wheat. Mouthfeel is medium bodied. A little rough. Pretty drinkable. Overall it’s okay. Nothing memorable. I might recommend it but I wouldn’t buy it again.
4.0 Good stuff
2.6 Taste decent, not surprising but is very heavy on my stomach
3.3 Keg at Mr Brews Taphouse, 6.14.19. Hazy orange. Not sure how chill hazed. It was served in a chilled glass. Fuck this place... avoid. Large frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of citrus and pale malt. Taste is pine, resin, orange zest, lime, pale malts. Medium bodied, moderate bitterness. I'm upping the score a bit because I suspect the chilled glass is killing some of the flavor.
2.2 Found out of bottle from Ingles in Franklin, NC. Nice dark golden appearance. Mild aroma. Decent flavors but nothing outstanding.
2.9 Blood orange
3.9 BlutorangenZestSpektakel🦀dry, boozesweet & stumptfruchtig🤟🏽 WalMart BomberStuff...GORGE!!!
3.3 Bottle. Bright blood orange citrusbaroma with notes some bready malt. Pours cloudy golden orange colored with a thin white head that has good retention and lacing. Starts with bright blood orange and bready malt flavors. Finishes dry with blood orange citrus and acidity clinging to the palate after each sip. Decent and refreshing.
3.4 Nice blood orange and guava taste. Better than I had expected. Worth a try
3.2 July 4th, 2015 - Elysian's labels are rolling up some hype for a beer that's rather tame. Enjoyed at a family Fourth of July celebration, this is a lighter brew with a light sniff of orange in the aroma and the flavor. It's simple, but refreshing, which makes it a fine match for a sultry evening watching fire explode in the sky.
0.5 Bottle poured into a shaker glass on 9/2/18. Chunks came out of the bottle... I'm not drinking this.
3.1 From the 12 fl. oz. bottle dated 05/09/18. The pour is a cloudy, murky looking orange-amber with a long lasting foamy white head. But the sediments floating about are over the top. Some people might get turned off by that. There is a noted aroma of orange fruit and a vague sourdough breadiness. Perhaps a slight herbal sensation. The mouthfeel is around medium. The taste is sweet and fruity and the finish is reasonably clean.
3.4 Not bad six pack pale. Blood orange definitely there with plenty citrus. Medium body.
3.5 Draft to pint (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good for the style; a mildly hazy vibrant orange with thick foamy eggshell head. Smells and tastes of bitter and a bit of piney and fruity hops alongside a bit of biscuit and a soft orange citrus presence. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. Pretty good, but one is plenty.
4.9 I love this drink. I’m not a beer drinker and have starting to drink IPA. The orange wheat are better for me and after having Superfuzz yesterday, I will be finding out who sells this near me. It was amazing!!!!! Very smooth and you don’t feel like you’re drinking beer
2.8 Bottle. cloudy gold. with a two finger head, Suppose to be orange but I didn't get much in the aroma or the taste. Not all that great.
3.6 Pours a hazy light amber with a finger of silky white head. Aroma is sweet candied citrus. Flavor is incredibly smooth with low carbonation and juicy orange notes.
3.0 Bottle at home. Pours cloudy deep gold. Tart orange aroma, raisin-y malt. Flavor opens sharp, somewhat tangy. Subtle orange notes. Citrus and pine hop bitterness on finish. Mouthfeel on the watery side. Somewhat aggressive hop bitterness seems to overshadow the subtle orange character here. Not a bad beer, but not that great, either.
3.2 Aroma of fresh fruit, citrus zest. Hazy orange color. Sweet up front, lots of orange Flavor quickly followed by pulpy bitterness. Watery mouth feel. Ok... too thin though.
4.0 Poured on tap in a pint glass at Harry’s Bar & Burger in Providence, RINot too hoppy but nice background bitterness offset by a hint of orange. Easy to drink, refreshing, I like it!
3.6 Fifth Third Field, Dayton, draft. Pretty good. Not very blood orange. Dry. Nice orange hue. Pretty smooth. Unfruity.
4.1 My favorite seasonal from Elysian always look forward to this citrus summer flavor!
2.8 12 ounce bottle. Pours an unclear orange with thin white head. Taste is of orange, grain, citrus and pine. Similar aroma. Has a mostly full body with a lot of bitterness. Overall, not bad
3.1 Pours a two finger white head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Hazy amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Musty citrus nose and flavor is hints of blood orange with citrus hops. Lingering hoppy aftertaste. $2.35 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.
3.5 Bottle. Unfiltered. Sediment apparent. Orange color, very cloudy and murky. Hoppy citrus aroma. Blood orange smell. Nice flavor of malt, some hops, citrus, fairly well balanced. Edges on citrus forward. Lingering aftertaste, sweet and tangy. Nice.
