2.2Bottle from the NK store. Got a gusher. Fruity in a way that says this has been sitting for too long. Allot of green apples. Yeasty taste with some apples. Strong bitterness. Reminds me of some of De Molen beers, the pale hoppy ones. But that have been aged for too long
3.8Bottle at home. Hazy orange pour, rocky white head. Aroma full of fruity hops, somewhat spicy and a hint of yeast. Flavor is quite hoppy bitter, full bodied and with huge carbonation. Really well drinkable and full for a low alcohol brew.
2.2Hazy golden colour. Bready, floral hop aroma. Thin body, watery, bready, bah
3.6Cervesa molt aromàtica i bona, no es nota el baix nivell d’alcohol per sabor però si en cos.
Cerveza muy aromática y buena, no se nota el bajo nivel de alcohol por el sabor pero si en cuerpo.
3.4*corrected rating. On tap at t’ arendsnest. Amber a little goldy, sml- med head. Smells.. Hops of grapefruit citrus maybe some orange too. Tastes..a big hop bitterness for a 2.5 abv, grapefruits, some orange, medium caramel malts, best low abv beer I’ve had!
3.7Hazy orange body with a huge white head. Aroma is fruits, a bit floral, orange, grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet with heavy bitterness. Medium body, bitter finish. Quite impressive for a low alcohol beer.
2.833cl bottle from CM Sello. Hazy golden, huge white dirty head, had to wait 5 minutes for the head to settle. Citrus hoppy aroma, yeasty. Flavor similar, yeasty, somewhat fruity and hoppy. Watery. The high carbonation spoiled this one.
3.0330 ml bottle at home. Cloudy golden with huge head, not really a gusher but close. Aroma and taste are soaked with malt, very bitter, some malt and caramel, fruit and pine with a massive, lasting finishing bitterness
3.5Golden color with a white head, high carbonation with great retention. Aroma has notes of fresh hops, some resins, pines and citrus ints. Flavor has a decent bitterness, medium dry with citrus notes. Final with good duration bitterness.
3.4Bottle at Craig’s. Pours golden, nose is light resin, taste is dry toffee malts, bitter.
3.5Bottle at the source. Hazy golden color, light tan head. Aroma is floral and herbal. Taste is bready, floral, fruity. It works!
0.7Flaska från ICA. Pommacfärgad med drag åt grått. Fruktig och vattnig doft. Lite äppelskal faktiskt. Sträv, kärnig smak. Nä fy tusan vad dålig.
2.2Bottled from a mate, sampled end of July, 2014.
Hazy apricot to orange color, white head. Fairly nice fruity smell. To the this side body, very big bitterness for the balance of the beer. Taste is bland at first, then mainly harsh bitter. Lasting bitterness only in aftertaste.
3.6Bottle @ camping ratebeer 2014. Hazy orange colour with a small off-white head. Smells malts, hops, sweetish, fruity, nice. Tastes sweetish, malts, hops, grapefruit, nice. Thin to medium body, nice carbo.
3.7Bottled as Emelisse 2.5 from de Molen Beershop, BB 12 2014, large sample, served in a shaker. Almost clear golden color, short lasting frothy off-white head. Lovely piney hops in the aroma, grapefruit, slight malty. Quite bitter in taste, some caramel malty body. Relative medium bodied for such a low ABV, low carbonation. Finishes with quite astringent bitterness, so not as easy to drink and sessionable as you would expect. Still very nice low alcohol stuff.
2.6Bottle (33 cl) from ICA Åkared, Göteborg, Sweden. Clear golden, large rocky white head. Acetaldehyde laden malt aroma, some piney and tropical fruit hops. Light bodied, high carbonation. Dry with harsh bitterness.
3.333 cl bottle
Appearance: Hazy dark orange, with a small head with a few minor lacing spots.Suprisingly as you start drinking it will leave much more thi lacing.
Aroma: loral hops, pines, citrus, grass
Taste: The taste is above moderate bitter and with a big hoppyness hoppiness, slight grain malty backbone. . bGood bitterness, light sweetness
Thin body(allthough thicker as most low alcohol beers), soft carbonation,
Quite a good try of Emelisse and while the aftertaste is flat,, this is still a ok brew and for a beer with a abv below 3% exceptional.
2.8Festival der Bierkulturen 2014. Geruch süßlich Zitrus, Grapefruit. Antrunk leicht säuerlich, trocken, Zitrus. Abgang Grapefruit, trocken, liquide. Nicht schlecht, leider etwas dünn.
3.6bottle at a bar, poured a clear orange colour with a white head. floral hops, pines, citrus, grapefruit, grass, red fruits, grass, great refreshing beer full with flavours!
3.9Bottle at bierhuyske
Pours verybfuzzy blonde . nearly no head
Smell is bitterhops
Taste is green hops ( LOTS of it ! ) very bitter . Not too much aromahop . My giluess would be target + Others ( are those in the descrupiption the only ones , or the only aromahops ???)
Nice , i prefer aromahop- taste more though .
3.5Bottled. The aroma has tropical fruits, citrus, some union, light malts there. Clear, golden coloured with a white head. The taste is moderate bitter and has big hoppiness, slight grainy/honey malty backbone. Relative speaking still a pretty decent body, but still just not enough to back up the nice big hoppiness. For me that’s still the biggest problem with these kind of beers. All nice tries, but so far from being there. This is a pretty good try nevertheless.
3.4Amber with white foam head. Aroma is nice hoppy. Taste is decent bitter, nice surprise for a beer with that little alcohol, proof one does not imply the other. (Velp 201406)
3.5Pour@FdB Köln 2014. Pours a brackish deep amber. Nice citrus, pine and mango aromas that surprisingly hold up well in taste, making this very enjoyable, apart from being quite light and obviously sessionable. Good malt body and overall presence of all wet hops. Maybe missed a bit of definition/focus to center taste, but given its style, probably top notch./Almost an inversion of Brewdog’s Nanny State, with reticent aromas and more substance in taste and body here, less perfume and soap.
3.2Pours cloudy peach with a massive, slowly settling frothy white head. Aromas of peach, lemongrass, honey, citrus. Taste is lemongrass, citrus, peach, honey. Mouthfeel is very sprightly with high carbonation. Aftertaste is rye bread, lemongrass, peach, citrus. Remarkably good for a beer with this low abv.
3.3Bottle. Slightly unclear golden in color with a creamy off-white head. Citrus, some tropical fruity notes mostly in aroma, but also some forresty fudge combination is present. Soft mouthfeel. A bit more on the bitter grapefruity side in taste with notes of malts and some tropical fruits as well.
3.4Bottle from ICA Åkerred cons 2014-05-21 Göteborg
AR: tropical fruit marmalade, pine cones, grapefruit, apricots
AP: clear bronz, frothy white head
F: fizzy, heavy dry grape fruit bitternees (to heavy), pine, orange marmelade,
3.9Bottle @ Emelisse brewery. Malts, citrus and hops. Nice hoppy taste with good bitter aftertaste. As you would expect, the body is not so strong because of the low percentage. But overall a remarkably good beer, one of the best low alcohol beers I have tasted.
3.0Warning: really bad gusher!
Pours a clear blonde beer with a big white head. Well carbonated.
Smells fresh and hoppy. some yeast and sulphur also.
Tastes bitter and watery. Has a bitter palate.
2.5At Borefts Beer Festival 2013. Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus hops with yeast and sulphur notes. Dry, fruity flavour with yeasty notes and a rather bitter finish
