3.1 0.33 l bottle share with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran. Thanks! Hazy amber, small to medium off-white head. Due date passed, oxidation. Don't count this rate. There is some cardboard, but also quite smoky. Nice malts and spices. Dry, but unfortunately no hops.

3.7 Gelungen interpretiert...ein echtes Smoked Rye IPA. Gemüserauchig, ryekratzy & bitterfruchthoppy..alles da...allerdings untypisch ..0,33l Flasche aus Holland.

3.6 Bottled 330ml. -at Pivoteka Zagreb. Dark orange/golden coloured, small off-white head, smoked pancetta in the nose. Moderate malty, decent smoke, citrusy hoppy and touch of spices. Caramel as well. Very good smoke in the finish with light bitterness.

3.6 Backlog. 500. piwo. Zapach: Usunięcie kapsla uwalnia jedynie delikatną, sosnowo-żywiczną woń. Gdy płyn znajduje się w pokalu, zaniepokojenie przeobraża się w rozczarowanie. Oprócz lasu pojawiają się kwiaty i niestety lekki miodek, który na szczęście z czasem gdzieś wyfruwa. Tak czy inaczej aromat jest bardzo delikatny. Wygląd: Lekko mętny, jasnobursztynowy płyn pod skromną, białą pianą. Smak: Wachlarz smaków jest okazały. Wysoka treściwość, aksamitność i gęstość, wyższa niż w zwyczajnych IPA, z gracją wprowadzają w bezkompromisową goryczkę o żywiczno-sosnowym profilu. Gdzieś pomiędzy pojawia się słodki ananas, a jeszcze przed połknięciem odzywa się mocny grejpfrut, który wywołuje silne odczucie cierpkości na języku. Słody wniosły nuty palone, a w zasadzie podpiekane i coś w rodzaju dymionej skórki chleba, bo ta cała wędzoność jest subtelna. Ponadto pojawia się charakterystyczny słodowy kwasek i gdzieś w oddali kawa z mlekiem. Alkohol (6,2%) skutecznie ukryty.

2.9 A sour smell, quite strong aroma of smoke. The beer has nearly no head, it is pale beige and disappears fast. The body is dark red. A strong malty taste with a lot of smoke. The finish is quite bitter. The body is medium strong, creamy and dry with a lively carbonation.

3.4 Bottle. Pours murky amber with a small, staying creamy beige film head. Aroma has meaty smoke, caramel, solid fruity hops, citrus, red apple, grapefruit. Medium to low carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, soft smoke, caramel, fairly sweet. Solid bitterness, fine fruitiness.

3.6 From the bottle poured into Spiegelau IPA Glass. Pours clear amber with low white head. Nose of hotdog water, pine and Resin, Kind of odd... Taste however is very pleasent layed back smoke and hop melange... Finish Wood, pine...

2.9 Bouteille 33. Belle cuivrée à petite mousse laissant de petites traces sur le verre. Nez : agrumes, FUMé, épices. Bouche : fraîche mais vraiment trop axée sur le fumé qui laisse peu de place aux saveurs (céréales, orange, résineux trouvés). Légère amertume. Décevant. A réserver aux amateurs de fumé(e) !

3.6 Good beer, I initially confused this with another one, but this is again good stuff from emelisse, not their finest of ales, but certainly enjoyable.

3.7 Botlle. Amber with white top. Smoky bacon aroma. Hoppy bitter taste at start with the smoky bacon kicking in and finishing with hops at the end.

3.8 Pours clear amber with a small off white head. Nose is smoked wood, charcoal, roasted malts. Hints of mango. Taste is medium bitter and definitely less pronounced smokey than the aroma. Floral hops are very nicely balanced with the rye and yeasty esters. Medium body, thin to creamy texture. Dry finish.

3.8 56 EBU 11 EBC Amberkleurig bier met weinig wit schuim. Geur: exotisch fruit, mango, ananas, lychee. Smaak: licht zoet, plakkerig, bitter, zeste van pompelmoes, marmelade. Kruidige mondprikkel ook aan het gehemelte. Sprankelende koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: lang, bitter. Lekker, maar waar is de smoke?

3.6 (Rate 13/11/16: 8-4-7-4-15= 3.8) Hazy amber pour with an offwhite head. Aroma was surprisingly versatile; every time I sniffed I got another sensation: from malts with light smoke, to floral and fruity hops, then a dry smell of hay, and then a bready rye note. Taste also contains both smoked malts, and yellow fruits, and a fresh bitterness that lasts in aftertaste like grapefruit. For an IPA quite low in the hoppy bitterness, but a nice beer though. (Re-rate 22/04/21: 7-4-7-3-15 = 3.6) This time exploding in the glass: hazy amber with huge off-white head, retaining very well. Aroma opens with clear smokeyness, but later more covered, soft fruity; not the maltiness and not the versatility of the first time. Taste well-balanced mix of smoke and fruit, mild sweet and moderate bitter, with lasting bitter aftertaste. So it nails its goal; nice smokey IPA.

3.9 Bottle from cerveteca lisboa, portugal. Color is brown. Head is thin to medium and persistent. Insanely smooth body and carbonation. Aroma is smoke, tobacco, hops, spices, light chocolate, biscuit.

3.8 33 cl bottle, served in snifter glass. Poured hazy amber with a two finger off white head. Aromas of orange peel, mango, pineapple, citrus, lightly smoked. Taste: continuation of the aromas with additional notes of freshly cut grass, blood orange, pine, herbs. Medium body with a slightly dry, bittersweet finish. Very refreshing, tropical fruity IPA. Very good!

4.1 Muy buena cerveza, equlibrada, con un aroma y sabor ahumado acentuado. Refrescante.

3.5 Cloudy amber, creamy light beige head. Aroma has light smoke and fruity hops. Bitter, resinous and slightly fruity flavour, notes of rye. Mild smoke towards the finish.

3.6 Aroma: earthy, smoked, flowers. Appearance: hayz golden color and thin white head. Taste: smoked notes, medium herbal bitterness, flowers, earthy, herbs, rather dry. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, smoked finish. Overall: Rather strange combination, but at the end of the day it is rather nice. Smoky notes are ruling.

3.8 Bottle. Pours golden with a good white head. The smoke is a bit overpowering in the aroma. I also smell pine. Very nice palate, carbonation is not dominant, but present. Lovely body, bitter smoked finish. Smoke is evident in flavour too, beer is mostly bitter. Nice balance. Good beer.

3.6 Bottle from Saveur Biere. Pours clear amber. Nose is caramel, smoked sausage, rye bread, fruits. Taste is fruity, bready, smoky, hoppy bitter aftertaste with gentle smoke. Nice balance, quite interesting. I am not the biggest consumer of smoky beers but still tasty.

3.6 33cl bottle. Hazy golden orange colour with a thin off-white head. Smoke, bread, caramel and citrus in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is medium bitter with a smoky and dry finish. Overall, a good beer.

3.9 Amber body. Aroma and flavour is mostly citrus hops, but they also reveal a balanced smokiness. It seems out of place in an IPA, but the two go well together. The taste is full, somewhat sweet with a solid bitterness, especially during the finish. It is full-bodied, almost like an oatmeal stout, and has a smooth texture. Overall, I like this IPA a lot. It is unique, daring, and more tasty than one would expect.

3.7 Pours hazy pale Amber with medium white head. Nose is smoky and slightly hoppy. Aromas are smoked malts, grapefruit, slightly spicy. Low carbonation, impressive thick texture. Medium bitter and smoky finish.

3.4 Orange-brown pour, small brown head. Aroma is smoky and funky. Flavor is smoky, spicy, certainly IPA-fresh but hard to isolate specific hops.

3.9 30-04-2016, Sint Annaland met Lou Lekker! Vrij bijzondere IPA. Nog niet veel smoked IPA's op. Met ogen dicht zou ik qua reuk zeggen dat het een smoked porter is. Mooie oranje kleur. Smaakvol en de rokerige smaak past echt perfect bij de cascade hops. Lange bittere nasmaak.
