0,33l fles bij huis verloren goudoranje met een witte kraag. Smaak en geur zijn zoetig en fruitig banaan en wat koriander. Niet speciaal wel erg mooi gebalanceerd.
From bottle. Pours gold with small head. Aroma of wheat, caramel, orange. Taste bananas, yeast, floral. Medium to high carbonation, smooth, well balanced but nothing special.
Demasiado color para una witte, y con escasa espuma para el estilo. Ligero aroma cítrico, algo ácido. claramente anaranjada. Notable carbonatación y cuerpo escaso. Bastante plana de sabor, tirando a cítrica incluyendo algo de naranja. Bebible, y discreta.

Bottle bought at the brewery. Pours very dark for a wit/wheat. Ripe banana's in the aroma (Belgian yeast?), total overkill in spices in the taste. Not my thing. Harsh bitterness that lingers on.
Cor ambar escura, como a maioria das cervejas da marca. Pouca espuma, porém duradoura. Aroma bem equilibrado de laranja e coentro (como era esperado em relação aos ingredientes). Paladar puxou para o adocicado, mas com menos frescor que outras witbiers.
Pours a hazy brown colour. Taste is of bananas, spice and some nice hops. Quite a good beer
Bottle at Craig’s. Pours golden amber, nose is floral, taste is light, sweet and fruity.
Macht im Glas optisch eine gute Figur - das war’s dann aber auch schon. Den typischen Geruch eines Witbiers kann ich nicht feststellen, leider finden sich diese Aromen auch auf der Zunge nicht wieder. Einen Hauch Orange erschmecke ich, aber diese leichte Säure und Aromen von Koriander kann ich einfach nicht ausmachen. Als Bier ist es recht leicht und ganz ok, aber den Namen Wibier verdient es definitiv nicht. Enttäuschend.
Nose is dry yeast, cupboard, slight peach touch of banana: very uneven. Taste is strawberry, milk, slight banana leading to sugar and slight spice, clove and citrus in the short finish. Mouthfeel is also quite soft and milky.
The milky tones throughout are odd, it’s drinkable but the short finish isn’t great and the nose poor.
Bottle 33cl. Hazy deep golden color, big frothy white head, recedes very slow to a lasting layer, fair lacing; yeasty nose, wheat, fruity, hint of banana, a lot of coriander, bit of lime, herbal hops; taste moderate sweet, light bitter, herbal notes; medium body, watery texture but soft mouthfeel, cloves on the tongue; dry mild bitter finish, herbal and spicy notes. Not a witbier, nor a hefeweizen, way too bitter but I don’t complain ;-)
330ml bottle from Bottledog, drunk on the train. Pours hazy gold with white head. Very light wit aromas and similarly not too much wit flavours coming through. Very light yeast, minimal banana esters, some citrus.. pleasant train beer but was a struggle to pick much out.
Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is banana, lemon, cloves. flavour is sweet, malt, apple, wheat, banana, lemon, cloves. Medium body. Ordinary beer.
A hazed blonde wit with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity banana malt with cloves, classic. In mouth, a nice sweet banana malt with light cloves, nice and smooth. On tap at Empire Brewfest 2014.
Bottled. Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is wheat, some citrus, mild wooden notes as well as quite rich on the yeastiness. Flavour is wheat, citrus, yeast, some slight floral notes as well as mild bready malts.

Somewhat opaque yellow copper with lacing white foam head. Aroma is wheat, little hoppy. Tastes slightly bitter wheat, some grass (yeast??). Lasting aftertaste. (Velp 201405)

Appearance: Light yellow, hazy with a huge white head.(a couple of fingers), ok stability, minor lacing.
Aroma: Light lemon and malts
Taste: Sweet with light citrus notes, faint coriander

Not really a German weizen,more of a Belgian White. Quite dissapointing for Emelisse standards.
Bottle. Pours light yellow, hazy with a medium head. Aroma of citrus with hints of malt. Unfortunately almost no hints coriander. Taste is rather sweet, with citrus notes. Tart aftertaste. Light body and high carbonation. Beer is very drinkable, but disappointing as a witbier.
Normal witbier. Nice drinkability, refreshing. Light citric lemon taste and fruits smell.
Pretty acidic. Orange coloured and unclear. Has a white head, lasting. Aroma is acidic, faint sugar-notes too. Faint-faint coriander, citrus, lemon.
Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, bananig, würzig. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig, würzig.
Butelka 0.33L. Jasnozłote, słomkowe, lekko, równomiernie zmętnione. Piana bardzo bujna, biała, drobno i średniopęcherzykowa. Trwała.
Aromat: cytrusowy, pomarańcze, trawa cytrynowa, banany, goździki, drożdże, dość słodki, lekko mdlący.
Smak: metaliczny, ziołowy, cytrynowy, spora goryczka nie pasująca do piwa, trawiasta.
Odczucie: bardzo wysokie, szczypiące wysycenie, utrudnia picie.
Jak na emelisse to olbrzymi zawód. Nie fajnie skomponowane, wysycenie prawie uniemożliwia picie wchodząc do nosa, metaliczność w smaku u goryczka zupełnie nie pasująca. I dlaczego to się nazywa witbierem skoro to kiepski hefeweizen.
Voor een witbier heeft dit bier een hoppige smaak. Helaas mis ik het typische frisse witbier smaak van Citroën en koriander.
huge creamy fizzy white head. excellent lacing. mostly diminishing. cloudy thick dark yellow body. aroma: citrus lemon, light yeasty, coriander, vanilla. if: moderate sweet. ff: moderate sweet light bitter; average duration. palate: light medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, moderate astringent finish. Dulçor de baunilha e banana. Metalizado permeia o gole do inicio ao fim, surgindo como defeito. Fora isso, cerveja refrescante, bem balanceada, muito gostosa. Levíssima acidez, lembrando azedume de longe, aparece no final, abaixo da média das witbier. O sabor no entanto, é melhor. Amargor de casca de limão.120 s
33cl bottle at home. Hazy orange with a medium slightly off-white head. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Sweetness combined with sour and bitter tones. Wheat, citrus, orange, vinegar and herbs. A not too special hefeweizen, I expected more from Emelisse.
Barwa: złota, zmętniona. Piana biała, początkowa w miarę obfita, drobno i średnio pęcherzykowa, jednak szybko opadająca pozostająca jedynie na ściankach. Wysycenie wysokie.
Aromat: owocowo - kwiatowy z nutami słodu i chmielu, ale nie szczególnie wyrazisty czy miły. Mało klasyczny, do tego z lekką nutą alkoholową.
Smak: dość zapychający (spore wysycenie) przy jednoczesnej niskiej pełni. Do tego kwaskowość i owoce (cytrusy), jednak mało ożywczy i niezbyt przyjemny. Nieco lepiej jest dopiero po dodaniu mętnej części piwa z dna butelki, ale staje się on tylko trochę bardziej przyprawowy.
Niestety kolejne odstające poziomem (od większości) piwo z Emelisse, które prawdziwe majstersztyki potrafi przeplatać totalnymi niewypałami. Z drugiej strony jeśli dubbel był słabszy, to jak określić witbier? Z pewnością jako jeden ze słabszych witów, jakie dane mi było spróbować. Aromat jest słabiutki i niezbyt świeży czy zachęcający co zwykle jest domeną tego typu piwa. Smak również nie przekonuje, a wysokie wysycenie sprawia wręcz, że nawet małą butelkę trudno jest "zmęczyć". Nie polecam, choć muszę podkreślić, że większość piw z tego browaru jest na prawdę bardzo dobrych i nie należy się uprzedzać po jednym czy dwóch słabszych.
Bottle. A big, off-white head forms over a clear, golden body. The aroma has banana, some lemon and cloves and a touch of pale malts. It’s rather dull on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level, and some flavors of pale malts, oranges and pine cones. A little banana and clove touch as well. Some bitterness towards the finish. A rather confusing beer, not one I’ll miss. 140315

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, wheat, yeast and hint of banana. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a caramel and banana finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
