This blonde abbey beer, which has been re-fermented in the bottle, is both a thirst-quencher and a special beer. Lovely fruit on the nose, citrus, malt, fruit and hops will excite your taste buds, giving way to a long, dry finish.

3.3Bottle from beerwulf. Clear yellow appearance with big white head. Aroma is sweet, malt and spiced. Flavour is dry, crisp, bitter and hoppy.

3.7Recommended by a friend from Ghent whilst visiting. Nose: straw, banana, slight wheat and spice. Taste: slightly sharp, almost wooden, surprisingly hoppy and delightfully so as it unfolds in the aftertaste. 330ml bottle from Hop Duvel, enjoyed at home.
3.3Clear golden beer with white head. Aroma is nice and rich citrus, fruity, hops and malty. Taste is yeast, sweet and modest bitter. Medium body. Overall nice and enjoyable belgian ale.

Looks the part - hazy straw body, big persistent creamy white head.
Very typical Belgian yeast-derived aroma - unripe apricots, clove, pepper, citrus leaf, doughy sort of malt in there too - rather pleasant.
Texture is good - slightly sweet at first, that lively creamy carbonation kicking in provides balance & a long finish.
Palate reveals sort of light toasty, bready, slightly vanilla-like malt character lending a nice sweetness to drying peppery, woody spice notes and hints of pears & apples & apricots, a touch of citrus, with a mild bitterness & minerally note to end up.
Quite subtle overall - balance spot on, a very easy going beer for it's strength!
3.4Blond one coloured yellow / orange. A bit unclear, big white lasting head. Easy drinkable. Touches of lemmon, tropical fruit, convenient bitters.
3.4Uit een flesje thuis. Gouden, beetje troebele kleur, aardig schuim.
3.1Keg at Den Engel, Leek. A clear pale golden colour with thin white head. Aroma of lemon, cucumber, yeast, slight banana, a little corn and subtle spice. Taste of yeast, lemon, some herbs, spice, slight pear, a little corn and subtle metal. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dryish, slightly metallic, yeasty bitterness in the finish. A typical Belgian blonde with the yeast been the star of the show. However it's a bit corny and subtley metallic finish.
3.2Good Blonde, typical Belgian Ale. Rich in flavor, yet ranking mid-range among its peers. A good beer, though, in general.
3.7Tap. Clear golden pour. Small long living head. The aroma is slid malts, spicy yeast and pear esters. Medium body. Medium sweet taste. Nice yeastiness. Tasty.
3.3BBD no. 2017. Big, foamy head, very persistent. Aroma quite pleasant fruity-banana esters and maybe some yeast, otherwise rather plain but good for a blond ale. Taste the same, yeast maybe more distinct. Prickly carbo. It’s a belgian blond ale so you know what to expect and this one is better than average IMHO. Taste is not overwhelming but it’s clean ( no off-tastes present ) and it’s got some body.
3.0Hazy yellow to golden color with medium sized white head and fast retention. Sweet sugary aroma, malt, some traces of corn in the beginning. Candy sweet taste. Medium body, lively carbonation.
3.1Banana, coriander, pepper in aroma and taste with some slight citrus notes in the end
3.3Pours gold with a large head.
Nose shows banana, pear, spicy hops, herbal hops and doughy notes.
Flavours include more herbal and spicy hops, banana, bready malt and cardboard.
Carbonation is much too high.
2.8Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of JFK10000. Shared with him and Max. Clear golden, large white head. Good lacing. Not particulary nice aroma. Sweet, yeasty, perfumish, soft. Light to medium bodied.
3.4Bouteille 33.

2.9Pours a cloudy yellow golden, topped with a large foamy white head, that imemdiately disappears. Mild yeasty nose, some dust and a tad fruity. Sweet malty start, a bit yeasty not just hardly, some mild bitterness in the finish. Light body, more on the gentle Belgian side.
