3.5 Fles 50cl thuis. 7,2%. Zoet, beetje droppig, bittertonen. (9-2013).-------.
3.8 the aroma is malty and fruity with hints of plum, toffee, grain and some herbs... the taste is malty and fruity with notes of prunes, toffee, raisin, black bread and some spicy grasses... sweet and dry aftertaste...
3.4 Bottle. Clear deep amber color off white head. Aroma is nutty, earthy, subtle orange peel. Taste has burnt caramel, light citrus, earthy sweetness. Tasty.
2.7 Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is sweetish dark malt, caramel, dried dark fruits, raisins, dark bread, some brown sugar. Flavour is sweet and light bitter. Body is medium but a bit weak. A bit dull sweetish Bock.
3.5 Bottle. Clear chestnut brown colour. Perfect beige head. Never seen such dense laces. Aroma: caramel, toast, some hay, dried fruit, a little vinous. Medium body. Light to medium sweet taste. Rich malts. Dried fruit. Dry ending. Light bitterness with a hop kick at very ending. Good one.
Ruikt zoetig, kruiden, mout. Smaakt zoetig, mout, kruiden, suiker.
3.1 Pour a deep copper with a off white head. Aroma of roasted dry chocolate malt, coffee and some malts. Taste is chocolate malt. Bready and also fruity, and raisins
2.6 Bottle. Reddish brown. Almost no head to speak of. Weak sweet aroma of malts. Mild taste of dark fruits. Caramell and sweetness. Bitter finish. Strong carbonation. Not very complex and not what I want from a Bock.
2.8 3l bottle. Clear dark reddish brown with a tan head. Malt, caramel and floral. Drinkable.
2.5 50 cl bottle (7,2% abv) served in dimpled mug at Krüger, Madrid. Pours dark amber, almost cola-coloured, with tan head. Aroma is, once again, cola; along with chocolate and caramel. Taste is fizzy, watery, bitterish. Quite long-lasting.
3.6 Very good Dunkler Bock. No off-flavours, no flaws, generally Bock like it should be.
3.1 L: -pours a clear brown with copper tinges and a small to medium, foamy, offwhite head -low to medium carbonation visible S: cooked potatoes, cooked rice, grainy, raisins, caramel, figs T: -spicy,syrup,grainy,rice,cola,plums,toffee,sugar ,cherries -finishes dry F: -medium carbonation -light to medium body -slight alcohol noticeable O: Pretty average Doppelbock
3.0 Very dark red-brown beer with brownish head. A light fruity hop aroma is almost hidden by strong and heavy roast malt aromas with caramel and a touch of coffee. Sweet, alcoholic and heavy, so a nice contrast to the average Pilsener, but it feels like it´s easy to get an overdose at the cost of a headache.
2.6 Farbe: braun.
3.0 Bottle @ friends/boilermaker. Appearance: pours clear red-brown with ok beige soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, caramel, light alcohol and floral notes. palette: medium caramel malty aroma, average carbonation, medium body, medium to notable sweetness, somewhat balanced by a medium bitterness, average duration and an oily texture. overall: pretty decent, dunkel
2.6 500 ml bottle. BB 09/09/16. Danke schön Timo A! Dark reddish brown color with a tiny tan head. The aroma is sweet malt, toffee and mild dryneness. The flavor is some dryish malt, toffee and some mild hops.
Durchschnittlicher Dunkler Bock
2.7 50 cl bottle. shared. Appearance: Clear dark copper color with a small head. Arroma: bread, dry malts, nuts. faint fruites in the back. Taste: Sweetish. dark bread, hay malts, caramel, hint of orange and earth and cacao, medium body, average carbonation ok
3.3 50 cl bottle. BBE 29.10.2016. Pours clear dark copper color with a small head. Bready aroma with dry malts and subtle nut notes, very faint fruits too. Flavor is bread-malty, mild orange notes, hay and earthy stuffiness. Decent. 3414
2.7 The aroma is caramel malt abundant and an almost sticky sweetness that fortunately short-lived and not too sickly. It is a very beautiful and hearty bock where hops bitterness only just chipping in with a slight tint. As bock I will probably think that it is too sweet, but I have almost learned that in the old days sweetened its bock with powdered sugar, and with that knowledge in mind, I would still say that this bock is a good and kind right bid for a bock of the old-fashioned kind.
2.3 Nanu... Wo ist denn der Schaum... Naja ok.. Die Farbe ist rotbraun. Das Aroma hat malzige Züge und Milchchokolade. Cremig-rezentes Mundgefühl. Malziger Antrunk. Süßer Abgang.
3.5 .5l bottle at Foraperfora in Trieste. Twist top like cola, odd. Light cola pour, small tan head. Slightly smoky, dark woody grain. Quite tasty. A bit banana sweet. Solid, tasty.
3.5 Bottle from my father who bought it in Germany. Fruity and dark malty smell with some caramel. Malty taste with caramel. Alright but a bit onesided.
3.3 Bottle. Color amber with small brown head. Aroma sweet, caramel, malt, alcohol. Taste sweet, roasted, malt, caramel, alcohol.
Bon corps. Fin de caramel fruité assez rapide.
