Aroma is on grain, blond caramel, grassy hops, crisp, medium bitterness, touch of honey, light wet paper, very german, watery finish. Earlier Rating: 4/6/2014 Total Score: 3.3 Bottle 50cl, an almost golden-copper beer with good head. Nose is on cereals, grain with typical sweet caramel touch. 3.1 Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is grainy malt, hay, straw, lightly hopped with a touch of honey. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and light to moderate bitter. Body is medium. Nicely grainy, a bit sweetish, good Kellerbier. Looking at my notes of Engel Keller-Hell, I enjoyed this one a lot better. Earlier Rating: 3/31/2017 Total Score: 2.6 Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Aroma is sweet grainy malt, cereal, straw, yeasty and grassy notes. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Bit dusty with an unpleasant overdone honey-like sweetness, lacks freshness and refinement.
2.5 500ml bottle Gold pour with OK head. Grainy aroma Quite sweet taste with more grainy notes. Also oxidised cardboard note (BB 16/1/18). Nothing special.
3.3 A bit darker than golden, slightly cloudy. A white, quite volatile head still leaves nice lacing. Aroma shows hay and cereal with a soft honeyish and flowery feel. Mild but nice. Taste is medium to high sweet with low to medium bitterness, overall sweeter than your average keller. Lightly crisp crackery malts, hay, slight honey, slightest touch of grass, touch of flowery hops. Overall pleasantly rustic, only glitch is a bit of sticky/chewy sweetness in the aftertaste. Light bodied with light, delicate carbonation, very easy on the mouth. Overall a respectable kellerbier.
3.0 Bottle. 25cl sample. The aeoma has hay, grain, some bread. Bit hazy, golden coloured beer with a thin, lasting, white head. The taste is light-moderate sweet, light bitter, würzig, grainy with a soft mineral mouthfeel in the end. Easy drinking beer.
3.6 Draught @ Hotel Amadeus, Auer. Overall pleasant, well balanced, herbal features.
3.4 Bottle. Hazy yellow, amber color, fine white head. Fruity aroma, a bit banana and grain. Medium sweet taste, medium bitter, lightly salty. Grainy, bready aftertaste, light hop freshness. Medium to low carbonation, nice body, creamy feel. Fresh, good drinkable Kellerbier, the yeast character reminds me of a Weißbier-yeast.
3.0 50 cl bottle . ABV 5,4º. Yellow color. Avreage head.Citrus and malt aroma.Medium sweet and light to medium bitterness.Medium to light body.Dry finish
3.5 A kellerbier that is milky and as a zwickl should be: a good start, fresh and bitter finish. A really good kellerbier that you do not come across often.
2.5 50 cl bottle during Easter 2016, thanks to my uncle. Label state 5.4% ABV. Slight hazy pale golden color, small white head. Sweet, malty, some honey, light herbal taste. Honey, herbal aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness, grainy finish. Malty, honey scent.
3.0 beverina, si percepisce il malto sulla lingua, leggermente dolce con finale poco amaro
2.8 BOTTLE 50 CL. Cloudy golden, creamy head. Cereals and sweet bread in the nose, along with some younger notes. The taste is just marginally sweet, the malts being dominated by a light unripe fruit acidity and a somewhat harsh bitterness, that gets a bit alcoholic as the beer warms up. Still, the chewy body holds on to that kelleresque feel. Decent enough.
2.8 Leicht trübes goldgelb mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Malzig, etwas Hefe, Heu, sehr süffig. Sonstiges: European Beer Star 2013 Gold.
3.1 Rimelig keller-bier. Frisk smag og god udseended. Behagelig aroma, men savner det sidste pift
3.2 Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts fine malty, modest dry, some notes of lemon. Dry-malty. Finish hoppy-spicy, still dry and a bit bitter. Okay.
3.0 0.5 l bottle. Aroma: Light sour, light sweet, bready, yeast. Appearence: Orange, hazy beer, white, frothy head. Taste: Light sweet like honey, bready, malty, light bitter. Palate: Soft carbonation, long lasting bitterness. Overall: Good beer.
2.7 Aroma of sweet breads. Deep yellow in color with some haze. White head. Sweet bready malt up front. Back filled with bitterness that is slightly peppery. Lightly watery mouth feel. Finish has a nice balance. Slight metallic taste at the end.
2.2 Pours yellow with no head, aroma of honey, rice and butter, flavor of butter and malt with some bready notes, medium bodied.
3.3 Tap at Hibiya Oktoberfest. CLoudy, deep, bright gold with a medium head. Fruity nose, peaches, esters, oranges, biscuits. A bit old and sour, full yeast, malty, estery, biscuity. Not in such good shape.
3.4 Cloudy yellow, thick frothy head, model lacing. Grainy & bready nose with hints of dust & wine. Light to medium body. Thin to oily. The flavour is light grainy sweet, bready, winy, dusty. Light bitterness present. Well balanced. The same in ending. All in all a pleasant Kellerbier.
3.3 Gelb bis honigfarben, opal. Aroma: Honig, Banane. Geschmack: honigsüß, Getreide, Malz. Wenig bitter. Im Ausklang etwas würziger.
