Epic Armageddon IPA

Epic Armageddon IPA

In the beginning, there was nothing. Then an impish brewer piled a ludicrous amount of hops into a batch of beer. This zymurgical big bang is Epic Armageddon, an apocalyptic assault on your preconceptions and taste buds. It may be too huge for this fragile planet so enjoy this beer like it was the last one on Earth.

3.1 Hop herbal spice malt aroma. Murky Amber colour good head and lacing. Malt orange citrus hop spice herbal flavour. Smooth lingering palate.
4.3 I really do love this as it does bring the flavour in such a way that you can’t help but enjoy.
0.7 A bottle from Jason's near NCCU. Aroma: canned pineapple that's been left out in the sun too long. Appearance: slightly opaque honey amber, 2mm. tan head. Palate: medium-bodied and oily, average carbonation, astringent finish. Taste: medium-bitter, what I imagine is the taste of cow manure, frankly horrible.
4.0 Easy to drink and flavoursome. I like this one. Nice tangent notes of bitterness and wholesome
4.0 Always a solid double IPA. Very easy drinking, won’t change your life but give it crack.
4.1 IPA’s have become a lazy man’s staple IMHO. I first encountered arrogant bastard a number of years ago as my first real extreme IPA. it was the end of the night beer. Since then many breweries have defaulted to adding hops because it is easy. Not this one. It is worth a great IPA.
4.0 Great beer, hop forward but still with a malt character to it, caramel and bitterness playing along. Like an IPA should be.
3.0 For a double ipa it was a little watery, but nice nonetheless. I'd drink it again if I wanted an easy drinker.
4.6 Sessionable IPA
5.0 Big resinous nose. Thick malty. Lingering bitterness. Not one for the soft hearted but super enjoyable.
4.5 Well rounded with a savoury kick. Refreshing. Good drinking on its own or with a hearty dinner.
3.3 Epic Armageddon is an epic beer. Hoppy and resinous, I reckon we could cause some shenanigans after this...
3.2 A fruity sessional number not bad on the palate but a little bit aggressive for my liking
3.0 Quite a sessional IPA, probably did injustice by drinking it after a New England IPA, but still give it the thumbs up
1.8 Not quite as good as the earliest is but definitely I said that afternoon Berwick your little bit low on cash
5.0 Big pine and citrus aroma, lean malt allows American hops to sing.. bloody love it
3.6 So this beer has a clean taste, but it didn't float my boat. Its got a mild hop aroma and whilst its heaps better than a generic beer, I like big and bold.
4.5 If there is an Armageddon, you could do worse than going out while drinking one of these flavoursome IIPA’s. 6.66% is the number of the devil, it must be bad to taste this good.
3.6 Hop aroma was a little subdued but a great US hop palate & beautifully balanced bitterness.
4.0 A brilliant hoppy beer. Smooth taste that activates in your mouth and reminds me of a sunny Sunday session
3.6 Tap poured- pours mild gold with off white head. Big aroma of passion fruit and citrus. Full body with a strong hoppy kick and some bitterness.
3.7 Had it on tap. Clear and reddy-golden in colour with a light head that dissapated quickly. Low level of carbonation and very strong piney and resin notes dominate the pallet.
4.0 Definitely a full flavoured beer that could also be very much sessionable, reasonably hoppy with a short finish, something I could for sure enjoy a couple of on a windy afternoon :)
3.0 Grassy and hoppy but feels unbalanced on the finish. Tasty and satisfying but wouldnt have more than a pot.
4.1 A fresh IPA . Not too bitter. Pours clear with a light head.Easy drinking for what it is.
3.7 Clear, malty IPA. Of a slightly heavier note than most, but well balanced.
3.7 Served on draught. Gold colour. Plenty of piny resinous hops. Nose is fresh and herbal
4.5 Perennial champ. Always a rich, malty, caramel, hop-punch. Never fails to deliver.
4.5 Has to be one of the more perfect IPA’s around. What a delicious beer. Dank and
3.8 A big dank resinous IPA you can tell its full of hops that will bust your chops. Another great beer from epic and a quality IPA This beer would pair with a nice curry or a pack of fish n chips
