mc² is Photon’s big brother. We literally took Photon’s hopping rate and squared it. This DIPA is our tribute to the amazing relationship that energy and mass are balanced, proportional to the speed of a photon squared. It pours a hazy tangerine color, releasing bright tropical notes of mango, pineapple, and apricot. mc² tastes like succulent mango juice loaded with chewy hop resins. It’s very drinkable for 8.0%; be careful, this one can sneak up on you.

4.030-SEP-2022, can @Ulkløbben meeting @Michael.
Hazy yellow with a lasting, lacing, white head.
Exotic fruit, mango, pineapple, grass. Full, bitter. Nice.
4.1From a pint can. Pours a cloudy orange straw with a big and lasting frothy off white head. Aromas are tangerines and pineapple. Flavors are bitter pine and grapefruit. Smooth luscious mouth feel. Super nice beer.
3.7Can. Pours murky golden orange with a white head. Fruity and grassy hops, some green onion, mild bitterness and mild hop burn, and a dank hoppy finish. Solid.
3.8Aroma is yeast, mild sweetness and creeping spicy hops. The flavor is tropical fruit, malts and a hoppy/big citrus peel finish.
4.0can has changed dramatically. this is yellownorange with a big citrus fruit flavor. orange and grapefruit with some lingering pine and strength. pretty good stuff. as it goes along it gets more of a mango flavor.
3.9Pours murky mango into a tulip. Bright white soapy head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Mango, passion fruit and tangerine aromas. Thick with sweet mango, hot caramel, mild lemon joy and dusty tangerine front to back. Lasting pith and peel finish.
3.8Sweet melon aroma. Hazy orange color with a white head. Tastes sweet, tropical with melon notes. Short finish with dank hops. Pretty good.
3.7Pint can at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat. Poured a murky golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, melon, passionfruit. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, fresh, light citrus, herbal, floral, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
4.0Can. Golden, slightly hazy, very good white head. Aroma: very hoppy, fresh hops, herbaceous, juicy, tropical fruit, orange, mango. Taste: dry, tropical fruit, herbs, citrus with zest, mango, powerful, cool brew.
3.4Cloudy tan orange with thin lacy white head
Aroma is mild hop

Feels light to medium with decent fizz
Finishes mild with hop spice notes
4.2Can from The Gull, North Vancouver; OCT 08 21, 2 months old
Blond colour, darker shade, cloudy to murky, with medium sized head. Oranges dominate the aroma; hints of sweetness. Full bodied for the style, moderately sweet but with elegance, delicate malt base, light creaminess; the hopping is juicy, again with accents of sweet oranges and candied orange peel, and balanced bitterness; it doesn't feel like being 10%.
Excellent.
3.5Pours cloudy hazy golden body with foam white top. Aroma has mango and other tropical fruits. Taste is medium sweet with a decent transition to a mellow bitterness. Palate is medium bodied, average carbonation, smooth texture and a chewy resinous finish. Enjoyable, even if it would taste better on a warmer day.
3.9On tap at Hamilton Tap and Grill. Hazy yellow gold pour. Sweet citrus aroma has obvious notes of dank citrus and pine. Flavor is sweet citrus with notes of tangerine, mango and pineapple. Plenty of boozy warmth. Best sipped slowly and carefully.
4.0Wow. Loads of mango. Pineapples. Definitely apricots. Thick and creamy. Alcohol very well masked. Juicy and potent. Damn.
4.4Pint can pours with a modestly hazy to opaque dull copper colored body that has thin golden hues and supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up an inviting blend of orange juice, peach, tangelo and a bit of mango. The taste delivers similar thick rich deep notes of orange juice, peach, pineapple and soft tangy juicy mango all mingling together harmoniously. Behind the wide load of tangy juicy hoppy goodness is a layer of more spicy to vaguely pine like hop bitterness that helps provide a pleasing balance up against the softer sweeter tangier notes. This is solid and a great sipper. Need more of this.
3.8From a pint can. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. Aromas are dank hay. Flavors are bitter pine and citrus.
3.9Drank on day 54 with R. Pours a hazy translucent peachy orange with a sudsy creamy white head and spotty legs. Aroma: dried mango, light pineapple rind, lime zest, strong resin, wheat husks, drying slightly grainier finish. Taste: tangerine, light melon, surprising amount of resin, moderate to heavy bitterness, bit of lime zest. Palate: really nice mouthfeel, medium- to full-bodied, pearlescent with fizzy frothy soft carbonation, slick, quite a dry finish. Sweetish, creamy/smooth, bitter, frothy/bouncy, dry. Quite nice - a bit unlike the usual hazy IPA, with more resin and dryness, but fruitiness is still present and lends it a creaminess and zestiness.
4.2Tall can from Brewcraft at home after passport photos. Hazy not opaque orange pour with sudsy frog eye white head that sticks. Aroma is more subtle than expected - papaya, mango, orange not much alcohol. Nice. Taste is huge bitter juicy boozy hit up front, orange juice with mango, orange rind and pith, but also lots of pine resin. Strong alcohol bite. Not as fruity as many hazy IPAs, which I like. Surprisingly dry finish for something so juicy. I like it. Palate is really good like many equilibrium beers - rich and smooth and somewhat frothy soft. Second best of this batch of equilibrium beers - uncorked was my favorite but this is great too.
4.3Pours barely translucent apricot with a thick and frothy parchment head. Aroma yields piney hops, tangy and somewhat sweet orange and grapefruit, fresh malt, a tropical hint. Flavor provides piney hops, juicy orange and grapefruit and mango with a little tangy pineapple, a fresh malt foundation. Texture gives firm body and lively fizz. A smartly brewed beer!
3.1Can sample at a tasting. Hazy yellow with white head. The aroma has notes of citrus, grapefruit, onion, malt, alcohol. The flavor is mild sweet and mild bitter with notes of citrus, grapefruit, orange, onion, alcohol, malt. Medium to full-bodied.
3.7Despite being past BBE sparkling carbonation. Light hazy orange. More west than east.
3.8Gul tåkete med hvitt skum. Lukter stenfrukt og sitrusskall. Middels fylde og bitterhet. Sitrusskall, ananas og aprikos. Ren.
2.6Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Cloudy yellow. Fruity hops, slightly stale, oniony, sweetish, light green bitterness in the finish.
3.8Yellow with medium white head. Hoppy aroma. Strong hoppy bitterness with good citrus notes.
3.4Can at a tasting. Cloudy yellow, creamy head. Fruity hops aromas, a bit vegetal and soapy. Sweetish, green, grassy, juicy, grapefruit, a bit astringent and bitter. Medium-bodied, smooth.
3.9(Can) Cloudy, dull burnt-orange body with a small to medium off-white head. Juicy aroma with tangerine, melon; dank. Medium body; carbonation is full and soft; soft, velvety mouthfeel. Citrus and tropical fruit flavors; tangerine, overripe orange and melon, pineapple, slight grapefruit; dank hops; some caramel; toasted grains.
3.5Pours a very cloudy, nearly opaque orange-golden color with a white head. White lacing clings to the inside of the glass (cup in this case—hotel room, so no glassware). Pungent aromas of pineapple, melon rind, raw oat, banana, and a faint touch of papaya and passion fruit. The mouthfeel is healthy. Mostly wet and moderately heavy, with a peppery powdery finish. Dull faint sweetness up front that yields to a competing tartness toward the finish. Pineapple, orange, oat, melon rind, papaya and passion fruit flavors.
4.5Pint can from HKBrewcraft.
Honey gold, very hazy.
Low bitterness with amazing fruitiness.
Peach, mango, citrus. Loads of stone fruit and citrusy.
Finished with a touch of malty note.
