3.1 Clear bottle poured a clear yellow with a small lasting white head. Aromas if bread, corn, earthiness and light graininess. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw and light corn with a crisp dry finish.
0.7 This is definitely one of the worst pale, light lagers I have ever tasted. The beer pours with a very fizzy and under-carbonated body. The beer has a very small and bubbly white head with very little lacing around the glass. The color itself is has bright yellow, urine-like appearance. The aroma is sour and skunky with a nasty alcohol-like hint. The flavors are extremely sour and tangy and very off-putting.
2.0 Bought at Schnucks Harvester this past January. Unfortunately the clear glass bottles make for mild skunk. In a lager glass, it has a nice, stocky head that gradually breaks down. The taste is pleasant.
2.9 Bottle. Pours a clear pale golden color with a foamy head. Aroma of sweet malt and grain. Mild bitterness and slightly sweet finish. Light body, smooth and easy drinking. Goes best with Mexican food.
2.5 Skunk, charred beef, toasted grain nose. Crystal clear yellow, thin head. Sweet grain. Light body, moderate carbonation. Savory but weak.
2.9 Lemon yellow pour. No foam. Skunk nose. Skunk hops fruit taste. Finish is skunk and fruit.
3.0 I thought I did this already, whatever. Clear bottle yields a very pale clear eye. Smell is simply fresh beer. Good sizzle. Fresh feel and taste, very easy drinking. Like-able for a lager lover, few few hops. Taste is rather fun if not entertaining. Not bad, a simple fresh nice clean mexican beer.
2.5 Clear bottle, painted label. Pours a crystal clear light gold color with a fizzy white head and decent retention. No lacing. Light skunk aroma. Tastes like a Euro lager mixed with a Mexican lager. Thin pale lager flavor with a slight skunk edge and a short finish with a hint of diacetyl. Not as crisp as I expected. Overall it's harmless beer.
3.5 This beer has a very golden color in is real nice smooth if you like the Corona taste you will enjoy this beer as it has a similar taste.
1.2 Pale lager. Bit sour, bit malty. Well, it's a thoroughly forgettable lager but whatever.
4.0 Tastes pretty clean. No real specific flavoring yet quite drinkable.
2.3 Grabbed a sixer after work opted for tick versus revisit something decent. Clear bottles. Normal lager colored white foamy head. Nose is aight skunk and corn. Tastes corny, light apple, cardboard, pale malt. Slight sour skunk finish. Gave me headache after drinking 3 real fast.
2.4 Clear bottle. Pours a pale gold with a decent white head. Aroma of malt and grain. Taste is malt, corn, and a bit of grass. Some skunk taste. Decent with the right food pairing.
3.8 Not a malty beer but has more body than I expected. Some sweet corn. Pretty easy drinking. Would go good with food. Better than expected.
4.4 After moving to CA last year, I explored the vast selection of Mexican lagers at the local beer store. Most local Hispanics buy beer in cans only, and there is a reason. Mexican lagers in clear glass bottles go skunky in a matter of minutes due to extreme light sensitivity. Fact is they are much better in cans, and Estrella is no exception. Estrella in cans has a clean fragrant aroma and a cotton candy finish with absolutely no bitterness in the finish. Skip the bottle, search for the can.
3.2 Pale gold with a thin white head. Light fruity aroma with a sweet corn taste. Ok lager.
2.8 24 oz. can. Pours a medium, poorly retained, off white head, no lacing, over a clear light gold (SRM 4) carbonated, body.....nose is toasted malts with bread tones, slight herbal hop notes, balanced......taste is toasted malts with slight sweet notes, late dry, mild bitter finish.....mouth feel, medium body, no alcohol, slight carbonation. This is rather simple in aroma and flavor, and as a result really misses the stated style of Pilsener, but it is still drinkable compared to Pale Lager.
5.0 Estrella is smooth, tasty and a good experience overall to drink
2.5 Bottle pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma of semi sweet malt, beechwood, and light grassy hops. Taste of sweet malt and corn.
2.2 12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Appleton, 6/12/19. Seen this everywhere so finally bit the bullet. Clear gold, large foamy white head, fair retention. Aroma of skunk and corn. Taste is much the same with some grassiness. At least the skunk is mild relative to the clear glass bottle. Thin, crisp. Coulda been worse. This is all @hershiser2's fault!
2.7 [12oz bottle from Albertson's, Fullerton, CA.] A straw coloured pour with a fast fading white head and very lively carbonation; some grass on the nose; sweet grainy body with an apple taste; and a finish that isn't as crisp as it could be, even when well chilled, leaving s sticky feeling on the lips.
2.3 Pours pale yellow with a good snowy head. Aroma presents raw malt and a little apple, not promising but still OK. Flavor offers fair malty and apple tones. Texture gives OK body and fizz. Fine for a hot day.
2.6 Pours a medium yellow with minimal head. The aroma is of macro malt. The taste is of typical macro malt - wheaty and corny and not overly thin/ricey like a light beer. The hops are present but not overpowering or everpresent. Decent macropils that is neither a light beer or nor a crappy cornmalt beer. Middle of the road all the way around
2.2 It pours golden and clear with a white head. Head retention is moderately good. It has grainy sweet notes with a bit of apple. The flavor is grainy sweet with a bit of apple. There are no noticable hops, although a very light spiciness may be the hops. It has a light body with a sweet aftertaste. Overall, It has limited flavors from grain and hops.

1.8 24oz can at Capital One Arena (Hockey) in Washington DC. Courtesy of solidfunk. Thanks Josh! Aroma was light corn, sweet notes. Smells like a standard Northern American macro, with a slight German twist. I mean, it's fine - better than pretty much anything else you could find at the arena, so there's that going for it.
1.4 15 bones for this tick at a hockey game. Not quite worth it let's just say. Papery and golden. Not as bad as it could be but bad. 24 Oz can.
2.6 Bottle from a bodega: Mexican beer #99: pour is I drank it from the bottle because it is clear, and I do nkt really care. Aroma is a little skunky and sugary but overall fine for what it is. Taste is fortunately not too sweet, light hop flavor. Truly not bad for what it is.
3.0 Golden color with a diminishing off-white head despite a continued flow of bubbles and snappy effervescence. Aromas of grains, white glue, and hint of herbal hops. Actually rather malty in the flavors. Neither overly crisp nor exceedingly refreshing, More in the lines of a typical pale lager. Not Slightly sweet in the finish. Actually a fairly easy drinking lager, with very few faults.
2.8 Can. Bright white head tops a deep good colored body. The nose is lightly corny and grainy with some roasted peanut shells. Flavors are slightly metallic with strong vegetable notes of carrots and potatoes. There is also a raw corn character. A decent light lager. Nothing offensive.
