Keg at BrewDog Clapham Junction, Battersea. Black with a brown head. Immensely thick and viscous. Aroma is full of dark cocoa, tobacco, and almost vegetable notes. Super thick mouthfeel. Quite a dry beer. There’s initial rum and liquorice sweetness that turns to bitter burnt sugar and burnt bread and ash in the finish. Still fantastic.
Black with dark creamy head. Aroma has some gentle, jammy notes. Flavour is almost savoury from the heavily roasted malts. Full and bitter with a lingering aftertaste.
Syrupy dark brown pour with a thin tan head which is gone quickly.......aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, booze, figs.......taste is a bit thinner than expected but it is flavored with figs, raisins, dark chocolate, booze.
Thick oily pour. Chocolate, coffee, fudge, and a hint of vanilla. Cool stout, expected a bit more though

Pours with a black body and a sparse tan head. Aroma-taste of coffee, touch of green capsicum, raisins with a hint of higher alcohol. Medium to full bodied, modest carbonation.

Pours opaque ink-black with a small cocoa-colored head that was gone quickly. Aroma was milder than expected, mostly of coffee. Thick and full-bodied with a long, mildly astringent finish. Flavor of coffee mixed with a whiskey-like sweetness and a woody note at the back.

Aroma: dark roasted espresso beans, vanilla, Chocolate, licorice, dark fruit, caramel, chocolate milk, pipe tobacco, Ginger. A: Pours a creamy black oil color forming a creamy medium sized brown head with medium to low retention that leaves only soapy spotty lacings in the glass.
S: Rich sweet nose. Strong notes of roasted malts, licorice, vanilla, dark chocolate, chocolate cake and coffee. Booze.
T: Sweet upfront taste that becomes quickly bitter. Strong lingering and persistent bitterness. Grassy hops profile. Taste is also complex: Strong notes of roasted malts, licorice, vanilla, dark chocolate, chocolate cake, coffee and grass. Great bittersweet balance.
M: Full heavy creamy body. Low carbonation. A mix of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee a grass in the aftertaste.
O: Excellent drinkability. World class Imperial Stout.

Color negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro que desaparece al poco casi por completo.
Sabores maltosos y cereales tostados con buenos toques de vainillas, suaves cacaos y algo de regaliz negro. Al final resulta algo seca. Ligeros frutos secos, nueces.
Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena sensación alcohólica desde el principio. Cierta densidad, au que se esperaba algo más y algo más fina.
Bastante buena para repetir sin duda alguna.

Coffee, roasted malt, dryness, bitterness and yesness in the aroma. The flavor is dry roasted malt, licorice, coffee, molasses and some alcohol. I was expecting a bit more cojones.
Color negro con capa de espuma marrón de tres dedos de grosor y buena retención. Carbonatación imperceptible visualmente. Textura cremosa y untuosa. Aroma a chocolate, café viejo y distante, melaza, sirope de arce, sirope de caramelo, bizcocho borracho. En boca hay chocolate, melaza, sirope de arce, sirope de caramelo, bizcocho borracho, azúcar moreno, recuerdos de fruto seco. Bastante dulce. Final cálido con amargor medio que se mantiene en regusto y postgusto junto con notas de chocolate, sirope de arce y caramelo.
