Evil Twin Aún Más Chili Jesús

Evil Twin Aún Más Chili Jesús

On a pilgrimage for immortal craft beer we tripped on some heavenly drops of beer with amazingly overwhelming aromas of chili peppers and more, a thick fudge-like body, pitch black color and obviously only made in limited amounts. And the taste.... furthermore jesus!

3.5 At Max Place, pours black with a brown head, aroma of chocolate, coffee, caramel, toffee, flavor of chocolate, coffee, caramel, spicy, medium to full bodied
4.0 Can at appellation. Pours black, nose is chocolate, caramel, capsicum, treacle, taste is similar, quite spicy, sweet.
3.8 Can thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - deep black with lovely fawn almost brown froth. Nose - smoke rather than spice. Dark chocolate lurking. Taste - smoke and chilli heat. Dark chocolate again. Palate - medium bodied at least. Smokey middle and finish. Overall - good and not too much chilli.
3.6 Draught at Skaal. Low and quickly disappearing fluffy light brown head. Pitch black body. Smooth and creamy roasted malt cocoa caramel aroma. Smooth coffee cocoa caramel flavor and just a note of chili. Little hops bitterness, low carbonation. Long sweet finish. Elegant and very well balanced with an alcohol level and chili level that seems just right.
4.0 Pours thick, oily black with microthin, dark tan head. Aroma is caramel, cocoa, roast and pepper. Taste is chocolate and brown sugar, moving to roast, coffee and light pepper. Finish is pepper and roast. Very, very good stout.

3.9 Can 330ml @ home Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, dried fruits, caramel, molasses and hint of coffee. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, roasted, sweet, chocolate, light spicy and dried fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Virkelig god stout.
4.5 (choco-poivron, ~compacte, malt-rôti-pimentée, fin douce, last racino-alcool, still piment, café, savoureuse)
4.0 Can 330ml. @ home. [ As Evil Twin Aún Más Chili Jesús ]. Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, bark, sour coffee, alcohol, minerals, dark sugar, licorice, dusty chili, roasted grain, dark malts, burnt toast, soil, harsh hops. 4.0 Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee notes and dark fruits. Sweet taste that ends up being slightly more dry and a little bitter. The flavor ends up with a hint of chili. Medium to full bodied, oily texture and flat to soft carbonated. An excellent Impy. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
4.2 07-DEC-2018, can @home, from Boxbeers. Black with a tan head. Smoke, burnt malt, chocolate, hops. And then the chili. Love it. Huge burn. Sweet, burnt bitter from malt but also fro hops I guess.
3.6 33 cl can @ home. Pours black with a tan head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are burnt malt, coffee, and chili - with a spicy finish.
3.5 Can. Black with a small dark brown head with fine retention, lace and regeneration. Dark chocolate, fudge, roasted malt, syrup, warming chili.Full body, medium to heavy sweet and bitter with warming alcohol and chili. Malty finish.
3.8 Can shared at home - pours inky black with a thin tan head. Dark sweet and roasted malty with notes of chocolate, coffee roast, some fudge and caramel sweetness, medium to full mouthfeel and body, nicely balanced chili spiced action into the dark malty close.
3.7 Bottle. It poured a dark color with a tan head. The aroma was of chili peppers, malts, chocolate and dried fruits. The taste was similar to the aroma with more chili peppers, malts, chocolate, dried fruits with medium carbonation and a nice spicy aftertaste. Nice.
4.3 Pitch Black pour with little to no head. A small ring of tan remains. Aromas of burnt chocolate, chili, soy, vanilla.. Reminds me a bit of Darkness or Dark Lord ilk. Warming. Chili peppers are faint at first, but then more in your face after a number of sips. Sweet, but the pepper heat balances that. Very good.
4.2 11.2 oz bottle - split five way. Rich and malty. Nice heat. Deilicious. Was this rating helpful? You know what you're buying/drinking.
3.9 22 oz bottle pours black with a brown head. Aroma of chocolate, dried fruit and chilies. Taste is chocolate, coffee and peppers. Heat is nicely balanced.
3.8 Good beer. Black pour . Aroma is mild pepper. Taste brings the heat. Nothing overwhelming, but obviously rhere.
4.2 The Jesus keeps on rollin'. Fudge-like sweetness mixed with anise, caramel, and black pepper, with a subtle but growing capsaicin warmth adding a prickly bite to the finish. Black cherry and raisin float around the edges, while a burnt coffee bitterness evens out the thick chocolate soul. Peppers and chocolate on the nose, while the pour comes out a sludgy black with a brief white head and slight lacing. Perfect texture: silky smooth without a trace of alcohol, yet the growing pepper burn adds a sophisticated intensity to the experience. Great pint.
