3.6Coppery orange in color. Head dissipated quickly. Aroma is slightly vanilla, earthy/tangy hops. An uncommon sweetness, for a DIPA; but that’s not what throws me off. The hops is appropriately bitter, but has a chemical quality as well. Very boozy. Too much alcohol for the 8%. Mouthfeel is actually great though.
3.8Old brief rating note: on tap at Proof. Aroma - grapefruit, grass, caramel. Tastes - tea vibe, fairly bitter, fresh hops, citrus, caramel. Palate - creamy, low carbonation. Even. Expensive, but nice. 7.6
3.6Bottle 330ml as "All Occasions IPA" @ home
Pours cloudy orange with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, grape and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long slightly warm, fruity and bitter finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
3.6330ml brown bottle. Hazy dark orange pour, tan head that fades to a thin layer. Patchy lacing. Fruity and citrus nose with plenty of orange and grapefruit. Taste is grapefruity, some caramel malts. A little alcohol at the end with a bit of warming in the throat. Grapefuity hops in the aftertaste. Medium body, average carbonation, good lasting bitterness. Voerall a good double IPA that kind of plays it safe.
3.3Bottle 50cl from Henrik thanks. A cloudy amber beer with good head and retention. Nose is strong on resin, lemon, orange and pine. Aroma is on grapefruit, resin, very sweet, very bitter, caramel, honey so quite heavy.
3.4Bottle (All Occasions IPA) - Poured orange with a thin off-white head. Aroma and flavor of citrus, light caramel, and spice. Medium body, light bitterness, and light spiced aftertaste.
3.9Nice aroma, not overpowering. Mild citrus. Taste is very interesting, typical ipa flavours, citrus and pine and I’m getting quite a bit of chocolate which is a little odd but very delicious. Very enjoyable despite being overpriced. Nearly 8 bucks for a 330ml bottle in victoria.
3.8Bottle, from BarleyWine, Copenhagen - (as Evil Twin All Occasions IPA) fuzzy orange with good offwhite head. Hoppy aroma and taste, grass, strong citrus, orange, lemon, pine, grapefruit and peach tones, nice caramel malt character. Lovely bitter finish.

As ’All Occasions IPA’ . Light haze on this amber beer, tidy cream coloured head. Nose of lime, sour melon and grapefruit!! Palate is smooth and a little dry. Nice medium carbonation. Some creamy malt, airy and semi dry. Fresh yellow grapefruit, lime and a trace of sour melon. Marmalade citric bitterness. Seltzer minerals. Dry finish with a bitter salty aftertaste. Complex IPA, very tasty and a little different.
3.2Thanks to thirdeye11 for sharing this bottle. Orange pour with a white head. The aroma is full of orange and perfume notes from the hops. The flavor is more of the same with some juicy orange, biscuit, floral perfume and alcohol. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
3.6Bottle shared by Tmoney99 (Feb. 2012, notes). Pours a cloudy orange amber color with a small white head. The aroma has big citrus hops, resin, grass, caramel and toast; some oxidation seems to be going on. The flavor is decent, sweet malts, caramel, toasted bread, citrus, resin, also seems to show a hint of oxidation. I would like to know I am getting this European stuff fresh.
3.9Pours a yellowy copper with a creamy head and lots of lacing. Looks thick.
Smell is underwhelming...caramel, citrus, pine.
Tastes much better than it smells. At 8% abv, I expected a bigger burn, but the alcohol is well hidden behind the sweet caramel malt and big piney bitterness. Heavy mouthfeel. Quite tasty. ..

3.5Pours a clear copper color with a white head. Aroma is a bit of spice with apples and brown sugar. Flavor is dry hops, bitter and easy grains. Finishes a bit spicy.
3.7Bottle, labeled as Evil Twin All Occasions IPA, june 22nd 2013. Hazy orange body, big offwhite head. Aroma is grassy with lemon, pine, grapefruit and light caramel. Taste is more grassy, still with a good grapefruit amount, lemon peels, pine. A high bitterness keeps the beer going strong, with a chunky malt and grass finish.
3.3Bottle at Oluttupa Viisi Penniä, Helsinki. Originally rated 05102012. Colour is hazy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, sweetness, hops and malts.
3.5Labeled All Occasions IPA. Bottle->snifter. Hazy orange-gold with small white head. Aroma: lots of hops - floral, cutrus, and pine. Taste: hops with fruit and malt. Bittersweet aftertaste.
3.8Draft at Proof. Glowing orange pour with a frothy white head. Piney, grapefruit and mango hop aroma with a bready caramel malt backing. Strong bitterness throughout the flavor with chewy malts and a piney finish. Slight touch of alcohol of the back end. Pretty tasty.
3.4Bottle. Hazy orange with a medium sized ok lacing off white head. Aroma is caramel, grain, bread, soapy, citrus, light pine. Quite alcoholic along the way with a long bitter finish. Taste is medium sweet and bitter. Medium/full body, oily texture, soft+ carbonation. Feels a bit malt dominated and could do with more hop aroma for my taste.
3.7Pours a clear golden yellow on tap with a thin white ring of lacy head. Aroma is big and hoppy, fresh pine and grapefruit. Taste follows, big hops up front, then falls to a sweet caramel malt back. Solid and hardly any hint of the booze.
4.0The All Occasions IPA version. Pours hazy amber with low white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, grapefruit, peaches, mango. Taste is balanced fruit sweet with a nice medium pine bitterness that lasts through the fairly long finish. Body is light to medium and creamy with low carbonation.
3.011.2oz All Occasions Label. Pours a hazy orange color with a thick fluffy white head. Aroma is bready, malty, grapefruit, and pine. Taste is more malt forward, bready, with some crisp pine flavor.
3.6Bottle @ Studenterbar, Århus as All occasions IPA. Pours hazy orange with white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, pepper, fruity hops. Flavor is malt, caramel, rich sweet tropical fruit, little pepper, piney hops. Medium body, lively carbonation. 190413
3.7Haha thats funny renaming it all occasions IPA! Anyways this pours a hazy amber colour with a thin soapy white blanket on top leaving a good couple inches of lace up the glass. Aroma is made up of pine, resin, tropical fruits, and some mild malty sweetness. Flavour is sweet malts, sweet tropical fruits, resin, pine, medium well balanced bitterness thats somewhat hidden by the sweetness though lingers mildly into the after taste, and a warming alcohol.
2.9Hazy copper body with a small foamy head. Aroma of citrus and grass, some caramel. After beer warms a bit aroma gets more pronounced, but still gentle. Taste of some hops and pretty heavy caramel (might also be some oxidation) at first, then a lot of bitterness. Not that much in the way of actual flavors. Some citrus, some lemon zest, long bitter finish. Basically, I get the feeling this beer would be a lot better fresh. As is, it’s bitter, oxidized, and not much else.
5.0Beer-Gasm
Fantastic ... Aromatic .. Green green green ! ! ! A must have if you are douche bag beer geek who likes Bret and company ... You try this ... If you can find it in the states that is
3.2Bottle - All Occasions IPA. Pours a deep gold with a small amount of white head. Aroma is tangerines, pineapple, malt sweetness. High carbonation. Medium bodied. Sweet, grainy malts along with fruity and piney hops. Lingering bitterness that’s a bit metallic. Okay.
3.6Had this as All Occasions. Pours hazy. At first this was mildly disappointing as it seemed like just a regular DIPA with some resins on the mouth, fruit on the nose, but a third of the way through it started to act like a barleywine and I swear there was effervescence peaking through. Not much but some, and that’s something to respect. Other than that though it’s quite sweet, almost cloying on the finish. So half way between an awesome beer and meh, strangely enough... 3.6 for the effervescence!
3.4Whole Foods, Bowery 33cl ($7): Pours light amber with a beige head. Aroma is citrus, pine, and some sugary maltiness. Taste is rubbery and bready, with a sort of consistent hoppy undertone. Somebody else calls one of the flavors here rubber, and I am inclined to agree. The hops do provide plenty of flavor, but I can’t help but feel that this might be slightly past its prime or that perhaps the prime was somewhat hyped. Perhaps if I see this on draught I’ll ask for a sample and compare notes.
4.0(All occasions ipa): Au nez je trouvais que le côté fromage de la levure était trop évident mais en bouche c’est une aventure de gorgée en gorgée. Belle complexité entre le sapinage, l’ecorce d’orange et une touche poivrée.
3.5Deep yellow thin head on draft. Dank, wet hops in the nose. Malt back stop, bitter in the middle with skunky after taste.
