Evil Twin Bozo Beer

Evil Twin Bozo Beer

This is a really big beer and we wanted to put it in small bottles, but the two bozos were so fat they couldn’t fit on the label. Enjoy this rich, ridiculous and screwball-ish Imperial Stout with hints of: molasses, lactose, chocolate, almond, hazelnut, vanilla bean, cinnamon, oak spiral, chili, marshmallow, muscovado sugar, chesnut and coffee. Made for Bozos.

4.0 Puszka 0.5l. Czarne z bezowa, drobniutką pianą. Palone, mega intensywne z wyraźną słodyczą w smaku, kontrowaną paloną goryczką. Agresywne, palone, bardzo smaczne.
3.9 Shared pint can poured to snifters showing a black/brown hue, a decent layer of brownish tan froth, and spots & streaks of lacing. The nose was roasted, earthy, a little vegetal, with notes of dark/baker's chocolate, treacle, nuttiness, cinnamon, and vanilla. Medium to full bodied, the taste was similar notes, syrupy sweet, with roasted, earthy, and slightly tannic bitterness, and big booze that was almost hot. Robust+.
3.9 Draft at Glory. Opaque very dark brown/black pour with a slim brown head. Big dark malt flavors. Dark chocolate. Liquorice. Black coffee. Molasses. Treacle. Cinnamon. Black walnut. Burnt sugary sweetness with a slightly charred finish. High ABV is mostly well hidden.
3.4 Zapach: kawa, czekolada, przyprawowość, czerwone owoce. Smak: czekolada, lekka ostra papryka w posmaku, przyprawowość, orzechy i palona kawa na finiszu. Zbyt wysokie wysycenie, psuje odbiór piwa, z tak wysoką zawartością alkoholu.
3.8 1 pint can. Pours black with a short tan head that settles quickly. Aromas of ink, coffee, chocolate liqueur, and roasted malts.Flavors follow same with additional nuttiness. ABV is much more noticeable in the mouth. It doesn't distract much, but it's pretty hot. Beer liqueur...
4.0 Black color, light brown head. Cocoa nose, roasted malt, muscovado sugar, hint of licorice, vinous, cinnamon, dried fruit. Roasted malt taste, cocoa, licorice, hint of chili, present alcohol, heavy. Full body, soft carbonation, oily texture. 9, 4, 8, 4, 15
4.4 16 oz can frombeer junction. Deep dark and rich malts with burnt sugar and earthy Chocolate and desert like flavor profiles. Alcohol is very present.
3.7 Can - viscous black pour, with a faint off-white lace - nose of toasted marshmallow, vanilla, oak, cinnamon - slick mouthfeel with low carbonation - flavor is sweet and boozy - spiciness, chocolate, vanilla, coconut - coffee, sweet cream - finishes spicy, with prominent alcohol heat.
3.7 Black pour, small brown pour. Aroma of coffee and dark chocolate. Very boozy intense chocolate and dark fruit. Some licorice, hints of coconut. Very intense... Maybe too much.
4.3 16 ounce can into snifter; no can dating, but was just released locally. Pours dense pitch black color with a 2 finger dense and rocky dark brown head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lingers. Dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, hazelnuts, almond, chili pepper, cinnamon, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, toffee, vanilla, cream, marshmallow, fudge, brownie batter, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of licorice, raisin, prune, fig, date, smoke, charcoal, leather, tobacco, herbal, pepper, pine, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light booze in the aromas as it warms, but not overwhelming. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/black/roast/bready malts, coffee, nuts, spices, sugars, oak spirals, and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, hazelnuts, almond, chili pepper, cinnamon, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, toffee, vanilla, cream, marshmallow, fudge, brownie batter, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of licorice, raisin, prune, fig, date, smoke, charcoal, leather, tobacco, herbal, pepper, pine, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate pine, herbal, peppery hops; roast/charcoal bitterness; and light cinnamon/pepper spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, hazelnuts, almond, chili pepper, cinnamon, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, toffee, vanilla, cream, marshmallow, fudge, brownie batter, toasted oak, dark/brown bread, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, charcoal, leather, tobacco, herbal, pepper, pine, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/black/roast/bready malts, coffee, spices, nuts, sugars, oak spirals, and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with an awesome roast/hop bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying, acrid, astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/char bitterness and oak/pepper/cinnamon spiciness. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety/bready, fairly sticky/chalky, and lightly slick/tannic mouthfeel that is great. Mildly increasing warmth of 17.2% and spice heat, with no booze lingering after the finish. Overall this is an amazing flavored huge imperial stout! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/black/roast/bready malts, coffee, spices, sugars, oak spirals, and light-moderate fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the huge ABV, with the mellowly bitter/charred/spicy/drying finish. Insanely rich malt/sugar complexity with perfectly balanced coffee, flavorings, and spices; restrained fruity yeast, and earthy hop presence. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example as expected. Not overwhelming on any aspect.
3.7 Can. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Been sat in the fridge for a while, waiting for a perfect moment. Then the Ruddy’s came round. It’s big and chocolatey, and belies the ABV really well. Smooth and slick. Bit over on the carbonation, surprisingly. Rich chocolate finish. Easy drinking big hitter, but given the hefty price tag it’s not at all complex or particularly interesting.
3.9 Aromaz are dark malt roast Coco a bit of black patent and not sure maybe some Oak and Earth? Flavors are like Nose, roast, some metallic in there too but that goes away, more sweet than bitter molasses are there and a hint of medicinal. I don't pick up all those spices at all. A little bit is boozy warmth in the Finish otherwise decent body.
4.0 Burk PQ. Underbar olja rinner ur burken. Doftar lite portvin och choklad. I munnen härrejävlar sååå extremt fylllig 👍😱. Lite bourbon hade varit👍👍
3.9 473 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 17.2%. Pitch black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of roast malts, roasted nuts, vanilla, chocolate, oak and coffee. Soft carbonation, soft mouthfeel for its strength. Sweet flavour, with notes of roast malts, marshmallows, chocolate, vanilla, roasted nuts, spices and coffee. Moderate bittering hops. Flavour bomb!
4.0 Mi2 Cardinal okt-18, og kveldens siste. Fra boks. Brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Delfiakake, kokosmakroner, ristede kastanjer, lønnesirup, havrekjeks med sjokolade. Den "beskjedne" voltstyrken sørger for balansen. Lekker munnfølelse og et fantastisk dessertøl. Feit og farlig, en ganeteaser av klasse. Skibsreder Ovesen ble nesten salig.
3.9 Can. Pours a black colour with a thin mocha head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, some peanut butter, brown sugar, nuts, slight liquorice and subtle coconut. Taste of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, some nuts, liquorice, slight alcohol, a little brown sugar and subtle toasted malts. Full bodied and moderate carbonation. A long, dryish, roasted malt and liquorice bitterness in the finish. It’s boozy! Not as boozy as Even More Jesus but this is more roastier with lots of spice at the end.
4.0 Shared can at Mi2 at Cardinal 15.10.18 and 09.09.19. Ebony. Small, brown head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coconut margarine and pine. Surprisingly excellent taste of Bounty chocolate, dark chocolate, juniper and chili.
3.8 Shared can at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours black, no head. Aroma is inviting, sweet dark malts, coconut. Taste is smooth creamy sugary malts, coffee and liquorice, dark and bitter.
3.7 Dried fruits and chocolate, tar, leather and vanilla. Elegant finish of pine from american hops
4.4 Evil Twin Bozo Beer Stout - Imperial 949418 Lukt: Kaffe, bek, karamell, lakris, sjokolade, vanilje. Utseende: Sort. Skum/kullsyre: Tynt skum. Smak: Kaffe, karamell, lakris, sjokolade, vanile, kokos, alco. Hvor: Cardinal Stavanger MI2. Medium: Boks@500ml, ABV@17,2%, Når@15.10.2018.
4.4 Shared can at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours black with little light brown head. Aroma of dark chocolate, dark fruits, ethanol. Tastes very sweet with some bitterness. Full bodied, sweet finish.
4.5 So, this is clearly strong but tastes like a typical imp stout strong, so maybe 12%. Some chocolaty notes for sure. Pretty good stuff
3.1 16 oz can. At the ISKTR'18. Enjoyed on Sep 22 2018. Booze. Green things. Strength. Alcohol. Oh my. Burning.
Warmende afdronk. Tinteling op het tandvlees. Knaller.
3.6 Rami Rami is drinking a Bozo Beer (2018) by Evil Twin Brewing at Powiśle Jakies nieco fuzlowate czy moze ciut aldehydowe alko nieco psuje odbior, reszta to solidne, rozbudowane, czekoladokakaowe, intensywne piwo
3.4 47,3 cl can @ ISKTR’18 Aroma has cocoa tones, salty licorice and mild coffee tones. Flavour has very salty licorice and alcohol. One of the saltiest beers I’ve had and also too much alcohol.
3.7 Pours thick black with a one finger, dark tan head. Aroma is heavy roast, molasses, cocoa and nuts. Taste is brown sugar and chocolate, moving to almonds, roast and some coffee. Finish roast and alcohol burn. A good, strong stout.
