3.8Keg at innis and gunn beer kitchen. Pours clear golden, nose is apricot, mango, vanilla, taste is juicy fruit, creamy vanilla, sweet, interesting.
3.81 pint can. Pours a slightly hazy amber with light head. Aromas of pineapple, candied fruit, pine resin, and bready malts. Flavors bring out lots of fruity hops and a ton of spicy resin. Additional Mango. Very much a hop bomb. Have to think hard - maybe some vanilla and lactose in the finish offsetting bitterness. Good stuff
4.1Beuatiful and brilliant IPA this!! Sweetness and juicyness are above bounds! Cannot even start where to begin, but caramel, raisin, mango.. do you get a hint? Gorgeous stuff
3.7(mango-durian, ~juteux, onctuo-juteuse, ~fleurie sur fruit exo amer, last ~poivré, vanille ?, lactose aide-shale, déçu)
2.9Like a watered down pina colada this masks it's high alcohol content well. cloudy pour with hints of vanilla and lower carbonation. I could have done with the lactose in it though. Can.
4.5Can from Bison Crafthouse in Hove. Fizzy, slight haze, pale gold with a big lively white head. Sherbet citrus aroma. Lovely smooth mouthfeel, sweet milky pineapple and vanilla flavour. Very drinkable with floral notes.
3.0Appearance: Pale golden. Hazy. Finger of white foam.
Nose: Creamy vanilla, bits of pine, grass and a little stone fruit.
Taste: Predominately vanilla with hoppy notes of peach, apricot, pine needles and hay.
Body: Creamy, with soft carbonation. Medium.
Parting thoughts: Quite peculiar and unique. The lactulose and vanilla really define this brew. Not like any other DIPA I’ve had. Memorable. I’m not sure I need another any time soon.
3.8Soft golden blonde pour with one finger of white head. Soft fruity aroma with creamy notes, pine resin, citrusy, vanilla, and alcohol. Warming in the mouth with a round soft full body. Vanilla and fruity, citrus, some resin. Nice.
3.8Can. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grassy peachy hoppy vanilla aroma. Fruity malty grassy citrus peachy hoppy vanilla flavor. Has a fruity malty peachy vanilla hoppy finish.
3.6I don't know. I was impressed for the highest scores here but vanilla and IPA don't go so well together.
Helt ok DIPA.
3.5Draught at All In Beer Fest 2018 cons 2018-11-03 Göteborg
AR: lactose, pineapple, apricots
AP: hazy golden, crealy yellow head
F: lactose, pine, apricot
3.5Can. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a slight orange hue and white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a combination of tropical fruit and citrus rind with a hint of a vegetal note. Flavor has has earthy citrus and tropical fruits with a bit of grass supporting.
4.1473ml can. Hazy golden with a creamy white head. Aroma of vanilla and tropical fruits. Taste is moderate sweet, vanilla, lactose, peaches, mango, pineapple, light hop spice. Medium-full bodied, soft carbonation, very creamy and smooth. Although quite sweet this actually all works rather well, easily crushable despite being a 9% DIPA.
3.7Pours hazy golden with a moderate frothy white head. Aromas of kiwi, physalis, lactose, slight vanilla, slight grass. Taste is quite fruity with prominent vanilla and lactose notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
3.6Can at Baan Bangkok. Poured a hazy orange golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is sweet sugary malt, vanilla, milky lactose, tropical fruit hop. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a smooth, rich, fruity, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
3.7473ml can from Grunting Growler. Pale yellow amber, reasonable head. Earthy orange aroma. Spicy vanilla flavour. Sweet mandarin aftertaste.
3.7Pounder: Caraway, lillies aroma. Clear amber, medium head, little retention. Orange, papaya . Medium body, easy carbonation.
4.3Very tasty ipa that doesnt really give off much vanilla, thankfully. Solid beer that hits you after but doesnt taste so strong
3.8From tap at SKAAL. A hazy yellow coloured beer with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of tropical fruit, vanilla, lactose, alcohol, mango and with a bitter finish.
4.0Cloudy golden, small white froth. Aroma has peach, pine, alcohol. Sweet flavour, peach, passionfruit and vanilla. Lactose sweetness. Lasting vanilla, peach pie. The 9% are clearly noticeable but well balanced by the sweetness, the slightly herbal spicy hops and the smooth pie feel. Nice.
3.828/VII/18 - on tap, shared @ Kraddel's 10K event, Beerlovers Bar (Antwerpen) - BB: n/a (2018-920)
Clear bright yellow blond beer, creamy white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lactose, sweetish impression, sugary, tropical fruit flavoured candy, vanilla. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sweetish, sugary, vanilla touch, pretty bitter, fruity touch. Aftertaste: hoppy, fruity, more vanilla, rather sugary. Didn't know the concept, but the lactose and vanilla are pretty obvious indeed. ;-)
3.9Pours almost clear golden with low white head. Aromas hoppy with notes of tropical fruits, vanilla, lactose, caramel. Taste has hoppy notes of vanilla, tropical fruit jam, caramel, honey
3.6473ml can or thereabouts from Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours a hazed golden yellow, medium white head that slowly fades. Aroma has a light vanilla sweetness. Taste sees the vanilla provide a nice soothing sweetness behind a strong alcohol presence, some creamy lactose though not overpowering. Nicely balanced but could do with being a couple of degrees lighter Imho.
2.6On tap at Taps. Hazy golden with white head. Lots of vanilla, thick creamy lactose-y mouthfeel, big hop notes with a cloyingly sweet finish. Really good sample beer but a glass was a bit too much
4.6Can. Pours hazy orange. Soft sweet peach and mango aroma. Stone fruit flavour tones that coat the mouth
3.8Amber / orange with medium white head. Sweet fruity aroma with remarkable hoppy notes. Sweet maltiness with fruity notes followed by strong hoppy bitterness.
3.4From can in IPA glass. Pours hazy gold w/thin white head, unusual aroma of tropical fruit & rubber. Creamy undertones from the lactose create a pina colada vibe. I think I'm caught in the rain.
