3.2 12 oz. can. Pours a thick, slowly collapsing white head, with moderate lacing, over a slightly hazy, effervescent light amber (SRM 6) body.......nose is toasted malts with cereal, bread, mild hop spice.....taste is heavy toasted cereal, with cracker from the malts, dry throughout, finishing with lingering strong hop bitterness, minimal hop spice, balance to the hops......mouth feel, medium light body, no alcohol, high carbonation. This is a relatively simple APA in both aroma and flavor. The bitter finish is rather harsh and lingering. BJCP 7/3/10/4/6
3.2 Aroma: lightly malty; not much hops; Appearance: clear light amber pour with thin white head that lingers; Taste: surprisingly malty for an APA; not exactly what I was looking for; more like a light Scotch ale; Palate: medium body with long, malty finish; Overall: okay; would probably not seek out again.
3.4 12 oz. can. Pours a clear pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, citrus, pine. Taste follows nose with some floral notes, citrus, and grapefruit. Fairly bitter finish.
3.6 Aroma is subtle, mostly malty with yeast notes, pineapple and floral hops. Medium body and medium carbonation. Taste is also malty with caramel, bitter herbs, pomello skin and some light floral notes. Bitter, dry aftertaste. Balanced beer, well made, but too standard.
3.6 Dégustée à l'automne 2015 (De mes notes). Merci MAM. .
3.4 Can from Merchants. Aroma is malty, caramel, pine, somewhat musty, fruity, dry, interesting. Appearance is amber, light tan head, hazyish. Taste is pine, bitter caramel malt, citrus, slightly fruity, pretty bitter, light but tons of flavor. Mouthfeel is light body, light crisp carbonation, bitter pine aftertaste. Overall, it’s pretty bitter though refreshing.
3.7 Can from Alko. Hazy yellow with medium head. Yellow fruits. Strong bitterness. Quite basic session style ipa.
1.9 355ml can from Bliznetsy in Moscow. Canned in 2015, so probably past the drink by date. Pours hazy orange with a gushing head and quite a few floaters. Aroma is grapefruit, yeast, caramel, perfumey fruit. Taste is harsh hoppy bitterness, cereal. Seems to have aged very badly. Or it wasn't great in the first place.
2.7 Ihan maukas, todella katkera jälkimaku. Muuten sopivan maltainen ja helppo juoda.
3.7 Can. Light gushing makes the head be big and airy. Citrusy aroma. Tangerine & grapefruit. A bit tired. Light to medium body. Medium dry taste. Massive citrusy hops. Medium bitterness. A classic US craft pale ale in its post-best shape.
2.1 Vom Fass im Stone Brewing Berlin 2016-11 getrunken. Sicher ein handwerklich sauberes Ale, aber langweilig.
2.5 Dark golden brew with a nice looking head that hangs on a while. Aroma and taste are filled with a smooth fruity almost floral hops with a decent malt background to make it really enjoyable. Normally overall I would say I love it and want to buy more but nope not this one. Four 12oz CANs cost about the same as twelve 12oz bottles of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. So happened there was some bottles of Sierra Nevada in the fridge so I did a side by side comparison. Both tasted really good and are about equal on every aspect except that huge price tag on this one. So because it is not outstandingly better, comes in CANs, and cost 3 times more, it is a complete fail on the overall.
3.8 Great beer smooth finish the mountains were definitely blue.........................
3.3 33cl can. Pours clear golden with medium sized white head. Tropical fruits and malt. Bitter finish. Honestly expected bit more because of the brewery, but quality beer if not bit boring none the less.
3.6 Can at home. Pours golden with big off-white head. Aroma has citrus and grapefruit with a bit of malt. Taste has bitter hops, mainly citrus, some malts. Good but not great.
4.3 Can: Craft beer selection continues to grow in Costa Rica, always something new to try.
3.8 copper colour, off white head. nice pale ale, medium bitter and light sweetness. The finish is just right for me with the dryness and bitterness, doesnt go too far, just right.
3.4 Clear, yellow, light brown colour, foamy white head. Light hoppy aroma with some malts. Piney, hoppy taste with medium bitterness. Slick mouthfeel, medium body and carbonation. Decent.
3.6 Can. Golden color with off-white head. Aroma has tropical fruits, citrus and malt. Taste is fruity with quite long bitter and dry aftertaste. Flavors of pine, needles, mango, grapefruit.
3.4 Tap at Brody’s. Almost clear golden with white head. Dry malts, light grassy and lime, soft roast. It’s quite strong on the grain husks and lime peel, so its light sweet but medium lasting bitter. Just medium bodied.
3.6 Piwo skonsumowane. Ocena na podstawie retrospekcji w celu uzupełnienia profilu.
3.6 Can. Bronze. Fruity with a touch of bitterness.Nothing outstanding but still easy to drink.
3.4 Amber, slightly hazy, with a white lasting head and sticky lacing. Light aroma, ripe fruits and resin. Taste is straight bitter, with strong notes of ripe fruits, grass, grapefruit, some tropical fruits, caramel and some biscuit. Light bodied and easy to drink, quite smooth and with soft carbonation. Nice.
3.4 Canned@Little Pub, Vaasa. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, grassy and some caramel notes. Flavour is grainy, floral, some grass and mild earthy and crisp biscuity notes. Floral and wooden bitterness in the finish.
2.6 Can (Little Pub, Vasa). Amber color, small white head. Sticky grass, fruity aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Peach, watermelon. Some harsh hoppyness. Maybe not so fresh? Harsh overall.
3.6 Backlog: 0.33 flaske. Gul klar med flott hvit skum. Aroma: malt, tropical frukt, humle. Smak malt og masse humle. Bitter humle ettersmak. God IPA. Co2 middels.
1.8 PREZENTACJA: opalizujące, jasnozłote, skromna piana od razu przyjmuje postać kołnierzyka, który po części zostaje na szkle; AROMAT: nikły, słodowy, troszkę cytrusów i mosiądzu; ODCZUCIE: ciało średnie, wysoko nasycone, lekko wykleja usta; SMAK: słodowy, owoce, karmel, wyraźna długa trawiasta goryczka; OGÓLNIE: piwo puste i nijakie, wręcz nieporozumienie, jak dla mnie to mocniej nachmielone golden ale.
3.2 Can from honestbrew. Color is hazy orange. Thin white head. Taste is medium bitter, light sweet. Dry body. Finish is long. Aroma and flavour is orange, hops, pine, resin, citrus, light vegetable.
3.5 Canned, 355ml from The Wine Rack at Yarnton Nurseries, Yarnton, Oxon. Gold with white head. This proved to be a moderately hopped beer, some grapefruit zestiness, some pithy hints. Overall the beer is quite light with a lightly roasted malt, some sharp citrus, some leafy notes. Pretty decent overall.
