Evil Twin Katz Pis (Cats Piss)

Evil Twin Katz Pis (Cats Piss)

Can you imagine something more repulsive than the smell of cats piss? Not really - go on, open up and inhale the sharp nose of cats piss extracted from the heavenly dry hopped Nelson Sauvin. The good news is you’ll love the freshness and the light body. It’s a true quality guzzler IPA.

4.5 Surely glad this doesn’t actually smell like cat piss. Very heady, nice flavor to the head. This isn’t overly hoppy but the bubbliness to it is quite good. A great mouthfeel. I really like it.
3.2 On tap @ Apex. Hazy golden body with a good amount of white head. Huge floral hop punch in the nose with mango - pungent as the beer’s name implies. Flavor is the same with very little bitterness and an odd aftertaste.
3.7 Pours a really hazy copper-amber with a huge, puffy, bubbly white head. Aroma is of citrus, resin, lemon, floral. Nice dry hop flavor, citrus, some resin, a little alcohol bite. Pretty good overall.
3.4 Bottled. Orangeish amber colour, small off-white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, floral and juicy hops with quite big bitterness. Flavour is quite similar with some sweet maltyneess giving it a good body.
3.2 Bottle from recent Chicago trip, Westlake Liquors. Pours, even for me, monstrous amount of foam. Bottle was a foamer. Neutralized aroma through the perfumed Sauvign hops, let’s call it a neutral aroma. Tingling yet creamy mouthfeel of hops and malt. Not bad to drink, bit took some getting used to.
2.8 Pours a brown hazy colored beer with a large head, typical IPA smell with lot of herbs, taste is quite okay but nothing special. Im just happy it doesnt taste/smell like cat lpiss
3.1 Draft at CK. Hazy light amber pour. Nose and flavor remind me more of a pale ale, with a light but lovely Nelson Sauvin nose of melon, grapefruit, touches of white wine, and a bit of malt balance. High carbonation, crisp and refreshing. Quite decent.
2.5 Brewed at De Molen, pours a cloudy dark orange, montrous white tiny bubbled head, thickest lacing you can have on a beer. Aromas and taste are kinda weird, wondering how fresh it was but alot of these denmark/norway ipas never survive the trip or their hops just pale in comparison to the stoner growers on the west coast. Bitter wet hop smell, stale basement. Aftertaste is pleasent but regular taste is too bitter/spicy. Medicin filled and weird.
3.6 Tight tangy hop nose with murky orange body. Creamy malt builds a comfortable palate platform for a sharp hop spike. Crisp grasp finish. (Bottle, Vino, Edinburgh)
3.9 Amber coulored with a big foamy head. Lots of Nelson Sauvin on the nose. Citrus, kiwi, gooseberry, rubard, white grapes. Slighlty oily, but fresh, tart, dry and medium bitter. But Cats piss? Isn’t that more Simcoe.
3.6 Aroma is yeast and tropical fruit. The flavor is tropical fruit, hops and a very dry finish. Not as much hops or tropical fruit as expected, this seemed to have a very long dry finish to it. It was interesting, although not as much flavor as I’d like.
3.7 Hazy gold pour with a lush effervescent white head. Aroma is tropical fruit. Flavor shows some pine resin, tropical fruit and a little grapefruit. Very nice but hardly worth its $12 usd price tag
3.7 Psst, it is open. Hmmm, no piss smell, more like grapefruit and passionfruit. I can smells the hops already. Color is clear copper, looks great. Taste is refreshing with nice hops. I want another one.
3.4 33 cl bottle @ olio. Rated on 04.04.2011 Aroma has hops, some citrus and grapefruit. Also hints of gooseberry bush. Flavour is hoppy too with grapefruits, some exotic fruits and hints of gooseberry bush. A nice IPA, but the vegetables do disturb a bit here.
4.5 Ottima ipa, il nome anche, l’odore e fantastico e di certo non sa di piscia di gatto! Saporita e odorosa! Ottima davvero!!!
3.5 Bottle. Poured clear copper color with a large frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate floral hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate bittersweet flavor with a moderate bittersweet finish of medium duration. Solid brew.
4.3 Aroma: Passionfruit, raspberries and candy. Appearance: Cloudy amber body with flecks of yeast. Huge, frothy white head that lasts. Lots of carbonation for an IPA. Slight lacing. Taste: Juicy and fruity. Some sharp hop bitterness, but overpowered by the sweet berry flavours. Very tasty and moreish. Palate: Medium bodied. Slick, oily texture. Lots of carbonation. Overall: Hoppy and very fruity - I wish I had another one in the fridge! To date, this is the best cat piss I’ve ever tasted.
3.6 En botella.dorado medio turbia.aromas a lupulo, pomelo.sabor medio dulce, frutal y floral.demasiado gas.interesante
3.6 Bottle at Tilt. Pours deep golden with a white head. Aroma of hops, candy, grapefruit, pine and malt. Sweet and fruity with a well balanced bitterness. Medium carbonation. Quite nice.
3.6 From bottle. Golden with a huge white head. Aroma has mostly orange fruits, some hay, grass, alcohol. Taste has citrus hops, orange and lemon, caramel, little soapy. Bitter finish, quite light and refreshing. Pretty good. Perhaps more hops would help
3.4 Hazy amber/orange with huge fluffy head. Fruity aromas - passion fruit and grapefruit. Less hoppy than expected.
2.9 Un vero inno al cattivo gusto il nome. La birra è tra le peggiori ipa mai bevute in tutta la mia vita.
3.7 Bottle @ Schouskjelleren 22 feb 12, together with Visionthing and Mr A. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Rich grape nose. Rich hoppy citric and light fruity flavour. A moderate malty background.
3.9 15 cl. draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft – (A) only slightly hazy amber with a white head – (S) mellow slightly fruity grapefruit hops / Nelson with a dash of caramel / exactly like cat piss according to my friend who has more expertise in that area / mission accomplished – (T) definitely on the mellow side for an IPA – mellow grapefruit hops, passionfruit, touch white grapes, caramel, definite malt presence in here finishing in a medium pine plus touch herbal bitter finish – (B) touch oily, easily drinkable, hop feel to it as well – not a bad IPA
3.3 Bottle. Pours a near clear gold with a huge white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma was full of hay and grains with a bcking grassy and a hint of flora hops. Flavor is similar with crereal, grain and hay up front with growing grassy hops.
3.0 Draft at Delirium Hoppy Loft. It pours amber, with a thick, fluffy white head. The nose is sweet, sticky orange fruit, urine and herbal. The taste is wood, resin, hay, straw, sweet orange, tangerine and herbal notes, with a very dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Doesn’t work for me.
3.5 Bottle from city beer. Good european ipa. Has a really dry finish. You can smell the malts. Good beer
3.3 Bottle from Bierkoning. Hazy orange body with tons of head. A real gusher. Nose is citrus and hoppy. Taste is lots of hops and fruits and some caramel in the finish. Not bad at all. Was expecting worse! Then again with these two brewers how can it go wrong?
3.8 Now before you open Cat Piss get your glass ready and near a sink. This is the worst beer I’ve ever seen when it comes to pouring. Even when you pour a little bit into the glass it quickly rises and overflows the glass. Tons of frothy head. Tons of lacing and great retention. It pours a glowing amber color. The smell is not as much cat piss as I would of liked honestly. I was hoping for a funky ass aroma but didn’t get it. Instead it’s mostly citrus with a nice earthy malty character. Spicy in a way. Was looking to be overwhelmed with the taste like I was with Alpine Nelson but wasn’t. Instead it’s a nice decent IPA. Once again the citrus comes out with other tropical fruit hoppy flavors. People state they get a berry like taste here too. I didn’t get that. If you look up some sites they say the hop itself gives off a taste and aroma of freshly crushed Gooseberries. Like I said didn’t get that. The beer rounds out with a sweet floral taste mixed in with the earthiness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied. A nice slight bitterness to it.
3.2 Bottle @ tasting. Aroma is funk with hops. Maybe the name is fitting. Not bad, but ot my thing. Too funky/spicy for a supposed to be ipa.
