3.7 This beer has a nice syrupy smell. The mouthfeel is nice and carbonated, in taste there is a nice and bitter coffeetaste. Somewhere in the back is the taste of brown sugar. The coffetaste however is overpowering in my opinion, so its a good beer, but not a great one.
3.1 Courtesy of gyhallmanti. Norrit black. Bitter coffee notes. Carb thin. No smell whatsoever.
3.6 As promised by its name, Liquid Double Fudge delivers on rich, chocolaty flavor. Still, this brew is true to Evil Twin's tendency to value balance over outright sweetness. There's enough roasty and bitter character to keep the fudge taste from fatiguing you. The body does feel a bit thin for the style, and, perhaps as a result of that, the booze does taste and feel rather strong. In all, this was an excellent Stout and I'd probably feel inclined to give it a higher rating had I not enjoyed in the same weekend as some other spectacular dark beers. This one just wasn't quite as memorable as some of the others.
3.0 Bottle. A- Chocolate, booze. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Roasty, dry, cocoa, bitter, booze. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly bitter finish. O- At least 2 years of age and not sure it helped this one, but maybe it took off a bit of edge. Still quite boozy and bitter. Not as chocolatey or sweet as I hoped. Okay, but underwhelming.
3.6 Bottled 650ml. -from Csak a Jo Sor Budapest. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate, roast and alcohol in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, dried fruits, some caramel and touch of licorice and alcohol in the finish. Boozy stuff.
3.4 Black with thin head. Aroma is boozy and dry. Flavour is also quite alcoholic. Dark malts underneath but the alcohol burn dominates.
3.5 Tap @ Chmielarnia, Warsaw 28/4-18. Roasted malty with coffe, chocolate and licorice. Body is medium to full, the finish is roasted with licorice.
3.5 Tap @ Chmielarnia, Warsaw 20180428. Roasted malty with licorice and coffee, medium to full body. The finish is bitter and roasted.
3.5 Tap@ chmielarnia, Warsaw. Pours a dark colour beer with a smal head. Roasted malt with slight notes of coffee, licorice and chocolate also some sour taste. Dry finish.

3.4 Bottle shared at my imperial ales and dexterity games birthday party. Very dark brown with a light brown head. More sweet than fudgey, not as good as I'd hoped.

3.9 Very dark brown body with a large brown head. Aroma is malty, roasted, chocolate, caramel fudge. Taste is heavy sweet and low bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture, light roasted bitter finish.
4.0 September 23, 2017 - at Craft (Clerkenwell) - keg draught. Oh yes, because you want to cap off a long, long day of drinking with THIS ... Black pour, lasting light brown head - lovely. Big alcohol in that aroma, but big burnt chocolate brownie fudge too; with anise and a little prune tartness. Taste follows - big, boozy, burnt dark chocolate and a little cranberry and licorice - really grabs your attention. Thick alcoholic mouthfeel, decent keg carbonation, long somewhat bitter finish, but not all that much HOP bitterness, more from alcohol and huge overroast malt. Woo. Spoiler alert: no, I did NOT get mugged staggering back along Leather Ln to Chancery Lane station - or fall asleep on my mercifully short Tube ride back to Russell Square.
3.5 Bottle split at Cotts Convention III, thanks to Sarky, 20/05/17. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose is toffee fudge, roast malts, dark fruits, light smoke, hint of chocolate. Taste comprises light charr, toffee, liquorice, chocolate, black peppery spice, sweet imbibe, fruit loaf. Full body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost. Ok impy but doesn't really pull out of third gear for me.
3.6 6/8/2016 -- from notes: 22oz bottle, from Dutch's. Batch 1. Up front, espresso, dark chocolate, moderate roast, mild spice - cinnamon, brown sugar. Touch of smoke on the back end? A long exhale was something like roast beef. Some definite bigger bitterness, and a bit of alcohol warmth. Finishes more dry, which is nice, because I feared that this would be cloying-sweet. It does have sort of a significant bite on the backend, though. Big body with a pretty nice thick chewiness to the texture -- it seems as if the beer is named more for the texture than the flavor. Color is black with a brown head, leaving some short ropes and bits of lace. Looks impressive enough. Solid, big imperial stout.. Was particurlarly nice once I started in on my sandwich. The bite dissipated somewhat, maybe the beer being able to breath a bit had something to do with that.
3.7 Bomber - it pours a coal black liquid with a med tan head. Big toasty aroma followed by baking chocolate, dark berries, a hint of chicory and burnt toast. Solid stout flavors but nothing spectacular with great roasted notes and a well hidden 12% abv.
4.0 Duft chokolade kaffe ristet malt avag vanilje smag ristet malt karamel svag vanilje humle eftersmag svag lakrids
3.7 Tap at Brass Tap. Poured a ruby black color with an average frothy brown head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted chocolate, coffee, fruit and alcohol aroma. Medium to heavy dark sweet toasted malt flavor with a medium to heavy dark sweet and small alcohol bite finish of moderate to long duration. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is a solid beer.
3.9 Bottle from Alko Hyvinkää. Roasted ,coffee, some dark berries, some sweetness, quite dry.
4.4 In der Nase dunkle Röstmalze, Cognac. Lakritz, Zimt, Cognac, Karamell. Ein Feuerwerk der Gewürze. Sehr geiles Teil.
3.4 A 22 fl. oz. bomber with no clear bottled on or best before date other than Batch #02. Poured into a snifter. It was black in colour with a half finger brown head that had decent retention and left some spotty lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, chocolate, liquorice and some booze. Tastes of chocolate, liquorice, caramel and booze with a hint of char. Medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall this was ok cold out of the fridge, but as it warms up a bit, which is when Imperial Stouts usually thrive, it actually became more boozy and perhaps overly harsh. Also, while there is some chocolate in the flavour, it is nowhere near what we are led to believe in the name ‘Liquid Double Fudge’.
3.3 Bottle from Borresteijn, thanks! Toffee, roast and licorice in the aroma, full bodied, thick mouthfeel. Malty sweet flavor with lots of salted licirice, caramel and roast. It's big, alcoholic and sweet, but not overly complex.
3.8 Bottle shared at Cotteridge wines, Cotteridge Convention III 20/05/2017. Many thanks! A a jet black coloured pour with a dirty loose dark tan head. Aroma is woody liquorice, black malts, burnt milk. Flavour is composed of sweet black malts, harsh liquorice, fudge. Palate is medium sweet, woody. Tangy finish.
4.2 Beige foamy head, dark color, thick body, low carbonation. Nice roasted malts with caramel taste, cacao and enough sweetness. Aftertaste gives you a slight coffee taste and warmness from those 12% abv. Glass of 240ml from tap.
2.6 Draught at Steampunk, Göteborg, on October 31, 2017. During their porter and tout week. Black color, small dark brown head. Fudge, alcohol scent. Sweet, alcohol, slight roasted taste. Boozy, alcohol, raw grains, slight roasted aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Warming alcohol. Overpowering alcohol and unbalanced. 6/3/5/2/10=2.6
4.1 Black pour, foamy brown head. Aroma of roast and fudge. Taste follows, very chocolaty, like a thick and boozy Guinness. Super thick and creamy.
2.9 Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Very dark and rich looking and a lumpy tan head that leaves a prodigious amount of lace. Aroma has chocolate and some lactic. Flavor is alcohol first with much lesser chocolate than expected. Ron reports the same results so I didn't get a bad bottle. So now I assume the entire batch is a mistake. It is way too hot and not nearly enough chocolate for the name.
3.5 Pours dark btown with a big tan head. Nose is chocolate and tobacco. Medium body, Alcohol present. Flavor is dark malts, some chocolate, smoke and tobacco, Finishes with booze and leather. Not bad but way too much alcohol,
