Evil Twin Molotov Cocktail Heavy

Evil Twin Molotov Cocktail Heavy

Despite the crudeness it is tricky to make an effective Molotov cocktail. Despite the unruly nature of the rebel it is very tricky to resist accepted conventions. Molotov Heavy is a tour de force in rebellious hoppiness, it’s a heavy spark for action and by far one of the most anti-authoritative beers ever made by Evil Twin Brewing.

3.6 47,3cl Can @ Saveur-Biere, Lille, France. Dark amber colour with a medium size white head. Aroma is malt, hops, citrus, fruits, pine. Taste is malt, caramel, hops, citrus, peach, resin, alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.5 Can @ home shared with Denk and Caesar. Aroma is quite nice, lots of hops, a bit sweet. Flavor is malts, sweetish hops, hops. But, the alcohol is HEAVY.
3.6 Can (16oz). Dark orange, somewhat hazy. No real head. Full bodied. Hops to the extreme. Some citrus and some pine. Somewhat sweet too.
3.6 Botella 66 cl del Señor lupulo Gijón tomada en Oviedo 28..05..2018. (r134). Densa y espumosa. Bastante buena, extrema y con sabor. Para repetir,.
3.5 Aromat chmielowy, cytrusowy, czuć w tyle alkohol. W smaku dużo słodowości, goryczka raczej niska, alkohol znowu przebija, i coś jakby cytrynka. Ok.
3.5 from Bierkeller Au Trappiste - very hazy dark amber-orange beer with a creamy pale beige foam; ripe peaches and apricots; hugely sweet, full-bodied, burning alcohol and chewy fruits marmalade in the finish; loads of residual sweetness
3.8 Hazy, orange colored, small frothy off white head, not that lasting. Aroma is of malt and caramel, fruity, medium hoppy citrus and floral notes, some alcohol and a bit boozy. Taste is medium to very sweet malt, caramel, bit sugary, fruity notes, medium+ hoppy citrus and floral notes, medium+ bitterness, alcohol with warmth, bit too boozy. Full bodied, soft carbonation, oily to resiny. Over the top as expected, too boozy to really shine... (can, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)
4.2 HOPFEN HONIG LIKÖR👽!! Hard Alko Hotspot mit harziger GleiterÄsthetik. Es kratzt roggy, wärmt calvadosStyleish & sauert citrusy👍. Also!? Keine Überraschungen. So muss ein heavy Molotow munden😉 ...Pint Can from BEYOND BEER HH.
3.8 The aroma is light citrus and a little caramel. Pours an orange copper with off white head somewhat lasting and floaties in the glass. The taste is a medium bitter/sweet. The body is full, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish long. The alcohol comes through after a minute, very good. I like the sweetness and the bitterness, they blend very well for a nice taste.
3.3 Hazy dark orange color with beige head. Aroma has medicinal alcohol, fermented oranges, fruit liquor and some pine resin. Taste is bittersweet, boozy, resiny with fermented fruit notes and lingering grapefruit pith bitterness. Medium body, syrupy feel, medium carbonation. For it's ridiculously high ABV it's actually drinkable but overall it's a boozy mess.
4.0 Can. It poured an amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was of malts, hops, fruits, caramel and pine. The taste was similar to the aroma with more malts, hops, fruits, caramel, pine, booze with medium carbonation and a sweet aftertaste. Good stuff.
4.0 W zapachu sporo aromatów chmielowych, owocowych, cytrusowych, tropikalnych, alkohol bardzo delikatny. W smaku średnia pełnia, sporo nut chmielowych, owocowych, cytrusowych, tropikalnych, goryczka solidna, alkohol wyraźny, likierowy.
3.9 Can shared by Marcus. Pours hazy copper with a fizzy, thin beige head. Aroma of pale prunus fruits (I’ll start with apricot), and some citrus. Somewhat roasty malt in support. The aroma exudes power. Med ++ body. There’s heat down the gullet. Oh yes. Flavor has a lot of mixed fruits, and I think pine and pineapple are among them. But it is not very easy to parse. It is very impressive.
3.9 16 oz can from Cap Tap. Pours copper with a transient off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a full-bodied pale malt flavor with a huge alcohol burn. I got high from the aroma and then I drank the beer. It is huge! Bitter finish that stays on the palate.
3.8 Aromat: intensywny ale mało wyrazisty. Słodkie owoce tropikalne, brzoskwinie i mango w zalewie syropowej, nuty ziołowe i przyprawowe. Wygląd: złotopomarańczowy, oleisty, pianka niewielka, biała i szybko zanika. Całość: wybitnie degustacyjne, do powolnego sączenia, potężne piwo i zaskakująco dobre. Piwo- mocarz, smaczne, oryginalne i ciekawe. 6/4/7/5/16
2.9 Malty, light pine aromas. Amber and lightly hazy in color with huge long lasting head. Taste is sweet, malty, very faint pine note.
3.1 Super hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a decent two centimetre tall tan head that fades relatively quickly. Aroma of alcohol, apricots, pungent hops, grass, pine and a bit more of the alcohol - quite pungent and very noticeable, as expected. Medium to Full-bodied; Super rich malt body at first with a ton of alcohol, bunches of grain, even more pine and resinous notes and ending with a big alcohol burn and a lot of sweetness, still. Aftertaste shows some apricots, pears, rye, grain, alcohol, pine, flowers and a bit more of the alcohol burn in the form of dryness. Overall, a quite potent and super pungent beer throughout with a big hop and apricot flavour in the positive light, but a large alcohol, astringent, assertive flavour from the high alcohol content is definitely noticeable and shows in a bad way. It's hard to overlook the alcohol quantity and I was definitely curious about this, which is why I spent so much money on this can, and it was interesting, hid SOME of the alcohol, but not all of it, but this is definitely NOT recommended unless you can find it for VERY cheap. It tasted like a beer around 12 or perhaps 13% alcohol like an American Strong or even a Barley Wine, but not at 17%, which is hard to differentiate for sure. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can (please make this a 200/250 mL can next time!) purchased from K-1 Beer and Wine in Arlington, Virginia on 19-December-2017 for US$9,99 sampled at home in Washington a bit more than a month later on 23-January-2017. Seems to be canned on 09-November-2017 from bottom of can. Canned: 09-November-2017 // Purchased: 19-December-2017 // Sampled: 23-January-2018
3.6 Can. Pours hazy orange with foamy off-white head, orange peel aroma, medium carbonation, bitter orange peel taste, smooth body. long bitter orange peel taste. Quite drinkable for such a high ABV!
1.9 The aroma is full of dried fruits, alcohol, malt, citrus, pine and a tiny note of alcohol. The color is dark caramel. The taste is full of dried fruits, alcohol, malt, citrus, some strange and strong metallic note is piercing through the palate and alcoholic sugar. Terrible beer! Why on Earth is Jeppe making an IPA with an ABV on 17,2 %. It's terrible!
2.7 Expensive ass tallboy can from Spirits Xroads. Poured a murky orange with a slick white foamy head. Aroma/flavor is a hoppy booze bomb mess. Loads of rotten citrus with bad dough and lots of booze. Big slick mouthfeel with a ton of heat. This was a mess
3.6 Chugged a 16oz can in about 7 seconds. This is a fucken bullet train to party town with no stops. Wowza.
3.9 Thanks Meilby for sharing the bottle - Golden with a white head - Fruity hop aroma with some herbal hints - Malt body with a hop profile that gives fruity, citrus and herbal flavours The fruity, herbal hop flavours goes into the finish with bitterness and alcohol heat - This was good
4.3 Nose..is relatively tame... compared to to taste. Thick rich mouth feel. Punch you in the face hop bite. Very fruity and sweet. Alcoholic finish. Lingering bitterness on back of palate. My kind of beer. Boozy...and a slightly unrefined smack in the mouth. Best high alcohol beer I've tasted.
4.0 UT 180817. 1pt 6fl oz shared bottle at home from FirmaBier. Nose is Fruit liquor. Honey, tropical fruits, molasses. Heavy sweet, light bitter, medium fruity sour. Long hoppy fruity m bittersweet, heavy alcohol warmth. Medium to full body, dry, medium carb. 858415
3.3 KRS 110317. Golden-orange color with an off-white head. Aroma is citrus, alcohol, malt, hop, grapwefruit. Flavor is alcohol, malt, hop, citrus, grapefruit, booze, floral. Bitter finish. Too Boozy.
3.6 (650ml bottle from Mikkeller Webshop shared) Pours a quite hazy burnt orange with a small white head that fades, and some non-trivial amount of sediment. Lots of malty notes dominate, caramel, toffee, pound cake, pale dried fruits, augmented by hoppy grapefruit peels, pine resin and also a non-trivial kick of alcohol. Quite sweet on the nose and at the beginning of the sip, but with expected aggressive bitterness and scalding resin pumped up by that booze that coats the tongue and neutralizes most of the malt sweetness. Full body that’s oily and slightly sticky, with soft carbonation Not the freshest bottle by any means, so it has transitioned to be more of a US barley wine (if it was ever anything else?). Still solid, though you definitely feel that alcohol.
3.9 Piwo skonsumowane. Ocena na podstawie retrospekcji w celu uzupełnienia profilu.
2.0 Drain pour for me. Sickly sweet and simultaneously grossly bitter on the finish. Not a fan.
3.9 Pours amber, with head. The aroma is grapefruit, floral, hope, grass,. The flavor malty, sweet, floral. Grapefruit, Ang alcohol at end end. Overall very good, a bit boozy
