Evil Twin Ryan And The Beaster Bunny

Evil Twin Ryan And The Beaster Bunny

English: In Denmark we have a lovely tradition for seasonal beer, and what you have here is certainly no exception. This is a never before seen collaboration between Ryan and the Beaster Bunny. A fluffy and precious Saison brewed on the beautiful island of Fanø on the west coast of Denmark. It may sound like a true fairytale, but don’t be fooled by it’s cute appearance.

Ingredienser: vand, malt, humle, gær.

Editor’s note: initially brewed by Fanø in Denmark

2.7 Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer.
3.7 // Beeroda.hu Tasting Sessions @ Budapest 2016. Smells yeasty and slightly herbal. Tastes dry, lots of bready flavour, very good sparkling palate in the end, superior saison.

Medium dry bitter refreshing, light to medium sweet, light warming atmosphere. Medium body, light to medium texture, average carbonation, dry herbal biscuit finish. Overall, fair ; disappointing though ; some clues reading my bottle best before april 2016...

3.8 355ml bottle from Beervana. Santiago, Nov. 2016. Pours a hazy golden color with a big white frothy head that diminishes slowly leaving a nice lacing. Aroma is beautifully rustic, farmhouse indeed: Notes of barnyard, dust, some apricots, honey vinegar, moss, citrus, funk and earth. Taste has some pleasant, mild tartness and nice fruity sweetness. Pear, melon, earthy touches, slight vinegar traces, a hint of lemongrass. Medium body, alcohol well concealed. Medium to high complexity. Low carbonation. A delicious Saison.
3.8 Una Saison de color Damasco sin filtrar, con carbonatacion y espuma media. Su aroma es frutal, durazno, Damasco y final herbáceo. Su sabor es suave, Damasco, hierbas con un final cremoso y amargor suave.

3.8 Flasche gekauft im Whole Foods in der Housten Street in New York. Helles Bernstein, leicht trüb. Süßes Aroma, Hefe, Getreide aber auch Zitrus. Geschmack: Erst sauer - Grapefruit - dann süßer werdend. Hefe. Getreide. Sehr vielschichtig und voller Sinneseindrücke. Viel Kohlensäure.
3.5 330ml bottle. Slightly hazy pale yellow colour. Quite high white head. Sticky froth. Barnyard, hay, very slight notes of sweetness, lots of grassy bitterness in the aroma. Grassy, slightly malty beginning. Sharpness, hay, grass in the middle. Bitterness, grassy notes in the end. Refreshing brew. Well balanced, drinkable farmhouse, but it does not surprise with nothing.
2.9 Bottle shared by Marduk, thanks! Slightly hazy golden yellow beer, small white head. Nose is sweet and funky, fruit, yeast. Flavor is yeast, spice, sweetness, malt, floral and metallic notes. Fruity sweetness in the finish, some spice and yeast. Weird and sweet.

Orange peel and sweet malts in aftertaste. Spicy tingle on tongue. Medium bitterness. Fruity mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Covers alcohol well.
3.6 A hazy dark yellow beer with a quickly settling white head. Fresh nose with citrus, floral, hay and honey aromas, some spice and funk aswell. Taste is pretty sweet with a mildly bitter finish. Citrus, honey and caramel are strongly in the taste as well. Low carbonation and rather full mouthfeel for the style. This is a fairly heavy example of farmhouse ales but the lovely sweet aromas help in making up for it.
3.4 Bottle, batch #013 (from UJH). Pours golden with whiteish head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is fruits, apricots, spices, yeast, slight vegetables. Flavor is sweet and bitter, grass, citrus, apricots, slight wheatiness. Carbonation is high. Overall: good. Bit too unrefined, but at least I get the idea what this tries to be. Growed on me as I drank it.
4.2 Proper farmhouse funk in the nose, somewhat cold fermentation. Slightly cloudy with thick head. Great dry, peppery, earthy saison. Balanced very well albeit a bit heavy, alcohol forward on the end. Great saison.
2.3 Stronger farmhouse that is super earthy. Bubblegum, banana, pepper, lemon, dirt, hay and spicey hop profile make this one a pretty good one. Plus it's got my name in the title!
4.0 the aroma is fruity and spicy with hints of sweet citrus, toffee, flowers and spicy herbs... the taste is fruity and malty with notes of sweet orange, flowers, hay and some spices... sweet, bitter and dry aftertaste...
3.6 bottle - Hazy light gold pour, one finger white head... the aroma is of funky yeast, citrus, and spice. The flavor is sweet and a little spicy up front with mild tartness and some good hops bitterness coming through more in the dry finish. Medium bodied. Lively palate. Good beer.
3.6 Mętne, złociste. W aromacie cytrusy, dzikość, trawa. Smak lekko drożdżowy, również dziki, orzeźwiający, cytrusowy. Goryczka niska, trawiasta. Ciekawe piwo
3.4 Prezentacja: klarowne, złote, skąpa piana od razu znika; Aromat: winny, dziki, delikatne czerwone wino, troszkę drewna; Odczucie: ciało średnie, mocno nasycone, puszyste, ze słodkim finiszem; Smak: słodki, przyjemny słodki miód, syrop owocowy, delikatna drewniana goryczka; Ogólnie: przyjemne, choć raczej w stylu belgijskim niż farmerskim; nie ma tu orzeźwiającej kwaśności ani przaśnej zbożowości.
3.3 Light aroma...lightly sweet... interesting beer...taste is bitter sweet at the same time...hops give a mostly floral bitterness to it...while a sweetness permeates throughout and ends up winning on the finish...better with occasional sips rather than just drinking consistently....hops overpower with quick drinking
3.6 Sparkling City on Tap. this was the last one of the day, so who knows whether it came out of a bottle or a tap. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of farmhouse yeast, grain, citrus and grass. Medium bodied.
