3.1Can. Poured a clear light golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly diminished with little lacing. Moderate sour and fruit aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth tingly texture and soft carbonation. Medium sour & sweet flavor with a medium sweet & sour finish of moderate duration. This is a soft beer for style.
3.418/VIII/18 - sample @ Gents Bierfestival - BB: n/a (2018-1048) Thanks to the Belgian Ratebeer crew for sharing today's beers!
Clear pale yellow beer, no head. Aroma: lots of Berliner Weisse aroma, pretty clean, bit fruity, apricots, sweetish. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty fruity, apricots, bit metallic, soft bitterness, some lemon juice. Aftertaste: bit of lime and lemon peel, bit metallic, watery, acidic.
3.235,5cl Can @ Beergium, Le Roeulx, Belgium. Golden colour with no head. Aroma is citrus, tart, grapefruit. Taste follows the aroma. Light body, moderate carbonation.

2.8On tap at Taps. Golden with no head. A bit funky, some blood grape. Very mild, low acidity. A bit dull.
3.1Pale yellow with no head. Aroma and flavour are very mild. Slightly floral. Low bitterness.
3.6Simple but nice grapefruit, some floral kick, moderate tartness with light sweetness. Well balanced refreshing brew
2.8Can, 33cl, bought @ Beershoppen, Kolding. Pours clear golden with no real head. Fizzes fast. Aroma has tart oranges, zesty lemon. Medium carbonation, rather thin and slight dry mouthfeel. Flavour has tart oranges, grapefruit, light lime. A bit short finish. Not really that interesting.
3.2Pours cloudy golden yellow with a fizzy head. Aroma og citrus, grapefruit, blood orange, lactic funk and bready notes. Taste of citrus, tart Green apples, slight blood orange, lactic funk and a slight watery end.
3.3Pours a clear sort of grapefruit juice color. Very loud and aggressive fizzy head, more so than you’d get from a soda. Three fingers or more, white head. Very carbonated, but loses it quickly after the initial pour.
Aroma is blood orange. Lightly, barely. But initially it smells like water you’ve boiled shrimp in. Can’t get that out of my mind.
Taste is light and still fizzy. Sourness from the orange. Initially it suffered from the shrimp thing, but it’s coming around. It’s tangy, takes a second for the sourness to kick in.
Mouthfeel is light and very watery. Sour. Ooh, there goes the shrimp thing again. But it’s highly sessionable.
Overall I don’t recommend it. It has this shrimp, or maybe it’s seaweed thing going on. I’ll pass on another.
3.6Can from the Intercomestibles Shop. Pours cloudy yellow. Aroma is orange peel, blood orange, citric funk. Body is light but not watery at all, quite dense rather. Fizzy and refreshing, freshly squeezed orange, sour and clean. Dry palate. Great summer beer!
2.8Hazy orange, fizzy, minimal head that fades in seconds and no lacing. Aroma of sourdough with a hint of citrus. Tastes light sour, not much on the malty side, notes of sour orange, a bit funky. Light bodied, flat, abrupt finish and sour burps. Not my style, but not entirely bad.
3.3Copenhagen 19/5 2018. 35,5 cl can form Vin de Table, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Drawing of Halved Blood Orange on the can.
Pours hazy deep yellow with small bubbly white head. Disappears entirely in a few seconds. No lacing.
Sour aroma with paint thinner and citric orange. Acerbic. Sweet notes of exotic fruit.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by strong sourness. Aftertaste is sour. Lingering. Semi dry finish.
Pleasantly sour without being ekstreme.
3.0Gelbes leicht trübes Bier schaum Ok, in Geruch wie im Geschmack enttäuschend wenig blutorange, nettes Bier aber könnte deutlich mehr Power haben
1.812oz can. Nose sour and of old citrus. Pour hazy yellow-golden with a soapy bright white head. Sharp, confrontational feel, it's fizzy-sudsy an a heavy, full body but the sourness is closer to "light"; not soft, has a hard edge, malt is weak and bland, citrus muddled, everything wheaty. Touch milk-lactic on the finish. Meh, I guess? Not atrocious, at least. [2018.04.29: 1.8]
2.912 oz Dose. Sehr helle naturtrübes Bier, flüchtiger Schaum. Saurer Citrusduft. Leider auch „billiges“ Bier in der Nase. Antrunk straight sauer. Ich vermisse die Orange. Eher Zitrone. Vielleicht etwas im Abgang. Ok, aber nichts besonderes.
4.0I thought this was pretty great. Yes, yes it was. I’m a sucker for that pucker.
3.0Let frisk men lidt tørhed i eftersmagen. Ikke det vilde sus, men god øl til sommeren.
3.612 oz can poured. Batch #003? Juicy, hazy golden orange pour with a disappearing head. Lack of head adds even more to the pure juiciness of this sour. A light orange flavor, has a touch of funk to it. Peach and orange yogurt funk like aroma. Refreshing, and easy drinking sour. Noticeably light, but doesn't really lack flavor at all. Some hidden straw grains. Pretty good overall.
3.2355ml can from Pien, Helsinki. Pours clear golden with a tiny head. Aroma of tart blood orange peel, sweaty notes, hints of sourness, earthiness and funky yeast. Taste is sourish and dry with some hints of blood orange peel, tartish zesty lemon and earthiness. Finish is dry, slightly sour and tart with hints of blood orange. Decent, slightly sour but quite easy going overall.
3.3Lemon juice color with a thin head and a mild, sweet citrus nose. Well-carbonated and a little thin with a bittersweet, citrus finish.
2.8Vom Zapfhahn. Fruchtiges Sauerbier mit Blutorange, Färbung ist goldorange mit Trübung und ohne Krone. Kombination aus Zitrus und Sauerbier harmonisiert im Bier.
3.0draught@Bierkeller Au Trappiste - light hazy pale golden beer with a moderate head retention; light vinous nose with oranges and tangerines; quite low carbonation, thin-bodied and shyly tasty; quite dry, light sourish, short aftertaste of oranges and persimmon
3.8Can from Clapton craft. Pale yellow sour appearance with no head. Scent is surprisingly sour? Is this not a ddh sour then? Taste is lovely sour ale with some citrus and some fizz on the mouth. Finish is dry. Very great. Mild.
3.412oz can from Windsor Hy-Vee, in a Sam Smith pint glass. Faint aromas of oranges or peaches, malted barley and slightly floral hops. Pours the color of peach lemonade with a thin cover of foam that dissipates entirely in a few minutes. Decent carbonation with bubbles covering the bottom of the glass, intermittently making a break for it. Potent citrus tang up front with great acidity to it, biscuity malt asserting itself mid-palate with a medium-long mild sweet fruity finish. Light, zippy, and easy to drink. It's its own palate-cleanser! Sours aren't typically my thing, but I'm a sucker for blood oranges, and while I don't feel like there was a lot of that in this drinking experience, it was a pleasant and satisfying brew at any rate. Good acidity, lots of fruit and a nice clean finish, what more can a person ask for? Thanks again Evil Twin!
3.012 oz can. (K-Citymarket) Tampere, Finland.
Cloudy golden color with no head.
Tartness and some fruitiness in the aroma.
The flavor is tartness, mild sourness and some citric notes.
3.312 ounce can
Despite the promise on the label this beer delivered less than promised. I didn't expect an amazing experience but this so-so sour did little more than show flashes of brilliance.
Aroma / Appearance - Cloudy rose gold liquid fills the glass. The melting white head adds a pleasant contrast. Mandarin oranges soaked in a few drops of vinegar tickle the nose. The sensations fade a little too quickly.
Flavor / Palate - A medium bodied tartness warms the tongue. The focus remains more lemony with a dash of orange zest. The blood orange flavor feels muted in contrast to the promised blast of flavor. Overall this isn't bad but just underwhelms.
4.1Outstanding. Really nice crisp and funky sour. Yeasty, light funk, light sour. Floral notes. Fizzy and refreshing. Pale gold color.
4.012 fl oz can. Pours straw yellow. Orange, mandarin, blood orange, lemon juice, an intense sourness, a slight breadiness. Nice prickly carbonation. Really clean with a lovely flavour.
2.9Can from Beer Cartel on 2 October 2017. The name of this beer is a mouthful but unfortunately the beer itself is not. Thin and wispy when poured into a glass the thinness transfers into the mouth when you take a sip. Lively and refreshing but there was something missing for me.
