3.0 Hoppy with a lasting bitter after taste. Nice pale gold color. Appetizing fine head. Low abv makes it a bit washed out in taste.
3.2 bottle, pours golden, clear with white head. Faint citrus aroma with a hit of malt. Medium bitterness. Citrus taste, bit malty, light body, bitter finish, quite refreshing.
3.0 Bottle at RBNG-14. Golden -yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt. Flavour is fruit, malt, hop, pine, grass. Medium body. OK beer.
2.7 (Bottle). Very obvious elements of grassy hops in both taste and aroma. The taste, however, is sprawling, unbalanced and uninteresting.
3.9 Yellow golden with light yellow foam. Malt, flower and meat in the aroma. Malt, sweet but growing bitterness in the aftertaste. A nice one.
Citrus mer framträdande i smaken. Lätt torr munkänsla. En mycket välhumlad lager men ändå balanserad.
3.1 Bottle 33 cl from Systembolaget. Clear golden with a white head. Grassy, fruity, citrusy. Some bitterness. Light body, medium carbonation, slightly bitter finish. Very refreshing.
3.7 330ml Bottle from Brewdog Online Shop (£2.50): Sweet grassy hops & citrus with a biscuit like aroma & lager malts. Light hops & an almost IPA like aroma with a combination of grapefruit and pine with some bitterness & lemon. It’s light & fresh. Bright, medium amber with a thin, foamy white lacing that covers the surface with some sticking to the sides. Fresh with some citrus lemons, some grassy hops & pine follow with a pleasant bitterness accompanying them. The malts from the nose are here as well but there are hidden slightly more by the hops. I could detect a little sweetness & some background fruits too. Lively & quite with solid carbonation & more bitterness & hops than I anticipated, this one has hints of an American IPA in it & feature a big citrus tang on the tongue. The taste is clean, crisp & goes down well with a decent balance as well. Quite an interesting offering that fell somewhere between the premium lager it is marketed at & a hopped-up American IPA with more bitterness & hops than I was expecting from a pale lager. It was very refreshing & lively with strong carbonation & a nice balance.
3.1 Bottle. Pale golden clear. Somewhat grainy pale malts on nose, lager yeasty character. After the grainy malty nose, this is surprisingly soft and smooth bodied. Very pale malty, dry, light bitter. But not that much hoppy flavours. Flavourful, crafty stuff.
2.9 Golden with a white head - Malt aroma with some hop as well - Nice malt body with some good hops with bitterness - The hops goes into a Nice bitter finish - This was nice
3.7 Pours golden with one finger white, fluffy foam with lacings. Aroma on one hand floral hoppy, citrus, on the other more pilsner like with rustic, light bitter, bread and malt. Taste is bitter initially, with floral hops and a clear citrus tone, develops a more elegant bitterness (zest and grape) on a fairly malt body despite the low ABV before finishing pilsner-like with a rough bitter-sweety taste, grass and dust. Light to medium body, medium to high carbo, kind of dry texture. Well composed.
3.4 Bottle at cafe Sara, december 14th 2013. Clear yellow body with a big white head. Aroma of grain with grass, straw and citrus. Dry taste of bread, peach, grapefruit with a light sweet end. Leaves a fresh hoppy aftertaste of citrus fruits. Nice and clean stuff.
2.9 Bottle.Clear golden colour with large White head.Aroma is harsh hoppy with even good crispy taste of hops and corn, medium body and long taste.
2.9 330 ml bottle. The smell of hops slams even before I have poured it from the bottle! It is cloudy light yellow with small white head. Smell is bitter hops some citrus and swertness. Taste is very hoppy for a lager high bitterness. A perfect lawn mower lager for the summer.
3.4 330 ml bottle. Hazy golden. Small off-white fluffy head. Fruity and floral hop aroma. Nice crisp maltiness. Hoppy and sharp bite. Salty. Nice sweet malty flavour cut by fresh hops. Lovely lager. Very drinkable.
2.6 Pale and bleak. Harsh hoppiness emphasized with a misplaced sweetness. Nothing special. Boring
3.2 Sample from bottle, RBNG 2014 in Halden, Grand Tasting. Golden colour, white head. Fresh hoppy aroma. Hoppy flavour, solid bitterness, but not much of a body.
2.5 15.02.2014. 0,33l Bottle. RBNG-14. Pale yellow colour with white head. Fresh grassy hops with citrus and yeast. Body is malty with medium body. Aftertaste is floral bitterness with grass and some kind of spice or herb.
3.0 Scents; roasted malts, a good portion of hops, grapefruit peels. Hazy golden, two finger pearl white top on it. Fluffy lacings. Taste; good bunch of hops, roasted caramel malts I think, notes of honey, grapefruit, syrup. Feels tasty and well bodied. Nice balance between resin hops and honey malts. Finishes with roasted honey malts, bunch of hops underneath. Overall I think you can’t feel this much pine forest in NY,US anyway. 33cl bottle 4.8%abv b@Systembolaget Luleå, tasted@home.
3.1 Bottle at Köttbaren. Pours clear golden with a white head. Crisp and clean hoppy lager, light and drinkable.
2.6 Bottle sample @ RBNG-14. Hazy yellow body, small white head. Nose is mild diacetyl, pale malts and hints of honey, grains and wet grass. Taste is honey, pale malts, bitter herbs and wet grass. Light body, medium carbonation. Decent Czech-style lager.
2.2 32 cl bottle bb sep 14. Aroma and taste is plain and heavy on bitterness (unbalanced). A glorified international lager.
3.2 How: Draught. Where: Babajan, Stockholm. Appearance: Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma: Citrus, fruit, malt, hops. Body: Medium body and carbonation. Flavour: Citrus, malt, hops.
2.6 Vad ska man säga, ljus lager. Smakar och doftar som de flesta av denna typen. Kanske något sötare, ljust guldig färg.
3.2 From a shared 33cl bottle at RBNG-14. Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Moderate fruity and hoppy aroma with hints of pine and citrus. Moderate sweet and hoppy with a well balanced bitterness. Refreshing and nice! (2014-02-15 - Grand Tasting, Fredriksten festning, Halden)
2.7 Sampled from a bottle. White lacing-head, hazy golden body. Aroma is mid-dry and filled with citrus. Plain citrus flavours offset by mid-sweet pale malts. Herbal hops to rather short finish. Easy to drink. An uncomplicated thirst quencher (Grand Tasting, RBNG, Halden 15.02.2014).
3.0 A layer of white bubbles, over a hazy yellow-golden body. Sweet fruity aroma with toasted malts. Medium full. Slik and sparkling. Failrly sweet flavored. Sappy yellow fruits and light toasted, grainy malts. Edgy bitterness in a medium long finish. A pretty good lager, without standing out. [Shared bottle at Grand Tasting, RBNG2014]
3.5 Flaska från @mrhult, tack! Fint gyllengul och klar. Doftar klassisk lager men med fina humletoner. Trevlig beska! Passar utmärkt till en februarigrill på altanen!
2.8 Sampled at the RBNG-14 Grand Tasting courtesy of gunnfryd. Misty golden body with a white film. Heathery malts on the nose with honey and a pleasant bitterness in the mouth. Smooth to drink. Medium to full bodied. Long finish.
