Extraomnes Zest

Extraomnes Zest

Schiuma compatta, frastagliata, candida e persistente.
Finale secco, tagliente e prolungato.

3.4 Bottle - Light herbal and yeasty Belgian notes. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Bright, bitter and a nice herbal note. Clean.
Tanta roba.
3.6 Gold pour, foamy whitehead. Aroma of yeast, and lemony hops. Flavor is fresh and floral with a hint of lemon. Fresh and crisp. Tasty.
3.3 Hard pale ale, hard bitterness, nice finish, wr.
Ottima e dissetante! Birra molto interessante.
3.6 Clear light golden. Spicy and grassy nose. Moderate grassy and spicy bitterness. Flavour: ripe peaches, fresh ground black pepper, allspice, some minty notes. Very good.
3.7 W nosie średnio intensywnie, przyprawy, grapefruit, limonka. Butelka do 01.2019
3.6 Draft 0.15l at Vrteska festival II Belgrade, Serbia. Thanks everybody for sharing beers. 05.05.2017. Pour it golden color with small white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, spices. Taste peach, citrus, peper, floral a bit, good balanced, medium sweetness, thick feel, medium body, fizzy to lively carbonation, long finish. Nice!
3.8 Light amber with rich white creamy head. Slight yeast and malt aroma. Well balanced sourness and quite strange bitterness in the taste, just touch of sweet and hint of yeasty notes. Bitter watery. Good bitter hoppy aftertaste.
3.5 Tap. Pours clear pale Amber, small off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is zesty indeed Grapefruit, coriander, floral. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter. Light plus body, low carbonation.
3.6 Clear straw color with slightly off-white head. As the name suggests, it's zesty on the nose with fresh lemongrass notes and rustic, earthy yeast notes. Taste follows with fresh grass, some floral yeast, earthy notes and a herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish which lingers for a long time. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. A really nice, easy drinking pale ale with a good amount of hops.
3.7 330 mml bottle. Tasted on the 29/09/2017 at home. Clear blonde colour with a medium off-white head. Aroma of lemon zest, citrics, malts and yeast. Taste is citric, malty and medium hoppy. Ok carbonation. Next one please!
3.2 Bevuta il 30/09/2017 @ChiareScureFestival in Milano. Alla spina. Colore biondo paglierino. Schiuma abbastanza persistente. Retrogusto amaro erbaceo.
3.9 (Draught) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of grapefruit, horse blanket, florals, toasted grain, and orange. Flavor of brett, grapefruit, grass, orange, and wheat with a dry, bitter finish.
3.7 Draught at Ginger Man, 7/12/17. Lightly hazy, soft, goldenrod-white peach with plentiful carbonation and a small but well-retained white head. Fruity yeast and gentle but fragrant hops combine in the nose to provide apple, lemon, strawberry and very light grapefruit on the end. For a non-traditionally hopped Belgian, it doesn't overwhelm and smells obviously similar to Guineu Riner. Lots of plastery/plasticy yeast notes provide some rustic flare and it's clean with sparse cracker-like malt lingering, as well as light citrus. Dry and tightly carbonated with a fairly malty texture (though tending on the grainy side, slightly), the cracker-like malts provide good texture in concert with the firm carbonation. Lemon, lime, grapefruit and orange peel never get very bitter nor resinous, thankfully, and the Belgian yeast shines through on the finish with just a hint of honey-like malt sweetness lingering, as well. Clean, no alcohol. Very nice stuff, though I must admit Guineu Riner does all this and more at half the abv....
3.7 Draught at Open Baladin Torino. Pours hazy orange with a large, creamy white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is moderate citrus and pine hops, medium crisp Pils and cereal malt with light fruity esters. Flavor is moderate citrus and pine hops and bitterness, cereal and biscuit malt with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.
3.7 Pale golden with slightest haziness, more hazy on second pour. Good and healthy white head, shows good persistence and nice lacing. Aroma is softly yeasty with a base of dough, fruitiness in the likes of both ripe fruit and citrus and a nice refreshing grassiness. Very nice. Taste follows the aroma, with fruitiness maybe less vivid. Medium sweetness and medium to high bitterness, finishes refreshingly dry and slightly on the grassy bitter side. Light bodied with medium to high carbonation, easy going but quite vivid in the mouth. Overall a very nice and refreshing beer, very clean for it's strong yeasty charachter.
3.4 Aroma is fresh with notes of lemongrass and white bread. Some nice grassy hops also. Taste is weird, though. Little resemblance of a belgian, with a slightly harsh herbal bitterness. Juicy mouthfeel, too much lemongrass. It's like it takes away everything else. Weird, but not that bad after all.
2.8 Keg at The Great British Beer Festival 2017, Kensington Olympia. Very sharp and hoppy. Dry, grassy and uncompromisingly bitter.
3.9 Bottle. Tart, herbal and drinkable with a smooth mouthfeel. Notes of sage, orange cest, white pepper and gooseberries.
3.5 Sampled at VCBF 2017. Thnx for sharing Eugene and Tim ! Pours clear blonde, mild clearness. OK Foam. SMell is bit zesty indeed. Taste is sharp, zesty ( lemon ) bit malty ( pale malts ) Doughy, white bread. No real yeastyness. Assertive bitterness.
3.6 Tap@Il Locale, Copenhagen - Golden pour with white head and sticky clinging lacing. Aroma and taste is zesty citrus lemony, light orange notes, sweet malty, nice citric spices into the finish.
3.8 Bottle. Pours a hazy, earthy straw with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a combination of citrus and Belgian yeast with a good amount of flora supporting and a bit of sweet grain underlying. Flavor starts with a combination of grass, Belgian yeast and grains but has a growing citrus note through the finish.
3.9 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of floral hops, anise, fruity hops, Belgian yeast, bready malt, spices. Flavor of bready malt, lemon zest, citrusy fruits, apple, peppery spices, bitter hops. Delicious Belgian ale, lightly hopped. 8/4/8/4/15 (3.9/5)
3.5 Tap at Bir & Fud, Rome. Pours cloudy amber orange with a lasting bubbly off-white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon zest, hop, malt, yeast, passion fruit and light sweet caramel. Medium sweetness which developed, contrasting quite a heavy zesty bitterness and borderline sour. Medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Finishes quite dry and bitter.
Smaak: moutzoetige aanzet, hopbitter, fruitig, nectarine, ananas. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Goede afdronk, harsachtig bitter.
3.8 On tap at Vrteška 2017, Belgrade. Shared with Višnja 666. Hazy golden, small off-white head. Moderate to heavily hopped or is it spices, citrus; lemon; zest. Good balance, very aromatic with floral esters. Medium body, moderate carbonation, really nice fruity finish. I like it just the way it is.
3.9 On tap at Vrteška. Tropical aroma, creamy, somewhat citrusy, a bit grainy. Tropical, light taste, fresh, lime, creamy, nice citric touches, light Belgian yeast touches I reckon. This is a very, VERY tasty beer, aromatic, well balanced and drinkable. Wow!
3.9 Tap at L’Express De Lyon, 26th April 17. Pours straw colour, slight haze. Aroma is bitter hop, some citrus. Taste is bitter, oily hop, citrus, clean refreshing with a bitter linger. This is as I hoped a little like the De Ranke style of Belgian Ale.
