4.0 Fint krydret uden at være vammel, en anelse lakrids anes og god sødme. Fin juleøl.

3.1 Fark brown with a small tan head. The aroma is a lot of roasted malt, dark bread, some coffee and notes of port. Taste has a lot of roasted notes, some earthy notes, spices and chocolate.

3.6 Denne julebryg har et sort udseende med et svagt brunt skum. Øllen har en chokolade og kaffe aroma og smager deraf med noter af karamel. En anelse bitter afrunding. Svag karbonering.

3.8 Sweet aroma of chocolate and coffee with notes of herbs. Black with a little short lasting brown head. Medium high sweetness and light medium bitterness. Medium-full body, average soft carbonation. A good porter but not much christmas in it.

3.7 Bottle 50 cl. Black with a lightbrown head. Aroma of coffee, vanilla, spices and anise. Sweet taste with Nice coffee and vanilla END.

3.3 0,5 l bottle, bought last October during vacation in Denmark. Listed with 7.5% vol at the backside label. Pours out pitch black with a small foamy dark beige head. Smells sweet malty with berriefruits. Taste starts malty, little bit roasty with a load of dark berriefruit sweetness, coffee in the second row but present. Hints of licorice. Alcohol way behind in the background. Really easy to drink but surely dangerous. Not bad.

4.0 Splendido colore quasi nero e schiuma beige Cremosa. Al naso tostatura e sentore di cioccolato. Al palato liscia e beverina, con malto tostato in evidenza, Carbonazione media. Bella bel finale dolciastro.

3.8 Ölige Textur, stark spicy und vollaromatisch. Eine sehr dunkle Basis, mit einem Hauch Rot, lassen die Erwartungshaltung in die Höhe schnellen. Der Trunk würzig, angesüsst und irgendwie nicht auf den Punkt. Schade, trotzdem nicht schlecht. 0,1/1€ vom Hahn beim WINTER BEER DAY 2016 in HH.

3.2 Bottle. Pitch black pour, small tan head. Nose is roasted malts, taste slightly sweet with a crisp bitter finish.

3.5 Bottle, april 30th 2016. Dark brown body with a small offwhite head. Aroma of caramel, roast and spices. Taste of christmassy spices, chocolate and raisin. A robust winter warmer.

3.7 0.5l bottle. Deep dark brown in the color and it has a nice medium sized dark brown dense top. On the nose it’s roasted malty with chocolate, Christmas spices, some burned toast and dark berries. Really nice. It’s average+ on the carbonation and light slick to oily on the mouthfeel. The taste has cold coffee, bready gingerbread, nutmeg, chocolate, dry cocoa and sweet dark caramel with soft traces of vanilla. Lot’s of flavor with a licorice aftertaste that never ends! Enjoyable and definitely something I could drink again. Yeah, I think I will do just that. 02.11.2012

3.7 Farven er sort med en brun skumkrone, der desværre hurtigt reduceres til næsten ingenting. Aromaen er sødlig, ristet malt, frugt chokolade og karamel medens smagen er mørk, bitter chokolade, kaffe og malt.

3.0 Fast schwarze Farbe, geringe bräunliche schaumkrone. Geruch nach reifen Beeren, leicht säuerlich. Geschmack dezent nach roten Beeren, trocken, leicht säuerlich, sehr malzig.

3.4 Nearly black, looks clear. Small tan head. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, light hints of varm spices, coffee notes. Flavour is similar, slight hints of licorice and spice. Nice porter.

3.6 Bottled. Pours black with an average tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, cinnamon, notes of vanilla and anise. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and slightly bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice Christmas Porter.

3.6 DWF; Bottle 0,33L. Pours dark brown to black with a lasting, creamy, lacing tan head. Nose fills with spice, cinnamon, roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and light citrus fruit. Taste is moderate sweet, spicy and light bitter with a sweet, spiced, moderate lasting finish. Body is medium to full,texture is oily to creamy, carbonation is flat.

3.6 Couleur noire, mousse beige qui disparait. Nez fort chocolat avec caramel, pruneaux, malt, note de café.. Gout de chocolat, malt, caramel, note pruneaux, grillée et café moulu avec bonne amertume grillée café en fiin de bouche. Corps moyen mais intense et rond en bouche. Une superbe porter.

4.1 Tasted as Jule Porter, a winter porter with thin, deep beige head and near to black colour. Aroma of coffee, toasted bread, chocolate, toffee, vanilla, star aniseed, cinnamon; sweet and rich malt taste, caramel and chocolate, roasted bitterness, thick and oily mouthfeel, subtle spicy accents adding complexity, long bitter finish. More a stout than a porter to me but an excellent brew in any case.

3.9 50cl. Bottle. Pours black with tan head. Aroma alcohol, cinnamon, anise, cherry, sweet, coffee, mocca. Taste cherry sugar sweet, coffee bitter. Mouthfeel thin, oily. Nice brew!

3.4 DWF 0.5. Mørk med brunt skum. Aroma kanel malt og alkohol. Smak av malt pittelitt sjokolade. Blir beder og bedre jo lengte ned i glassse en kommmer

3.2 Feels great and looks great, and has some nice characteristics. But a bit short of tastes and aromas, which seems great. Good, and will surely match many different kinds of holiday dishes. Coffee and xmas spices.
